Where does it say that?
Ive just posted scripture...children of God are Born Again...by his Spirit and without the Spirit, we are none of His.

Hence Spirit gives birth to spirit.

Flesh gives birth to flesh...very easy to understand...

I’ve already told you many times.

The Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are his children/ Born Again children...by the Spirit of God...Spirit gives birth to spirit.

Where does it say, "The Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are his children/ Born Again children."

I have posted scripture..go back and read it.
You posted a bunch of stuff, but nowhere did it say that? You may think that is what you posted means, but it does not say what you said.

So until you can give me a quote from the scriptures that say what you said, I am done.

Yes it does..only you don’t understand the scripture and how God through the Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are his children.

As I’ve already explained to you....the carnal mind wouldn’t understand this as Gods word says.

You are entitled to your opinion..I backed mine up with scripture....

And your opinion counts for zero/ nada.

You blatantly deny the word of God that I posted..which is Gods Living word delivered to our spirit....that’s all on you....and only you!...you said his word isn’t saying what I think it’s saying..yet can’t explain any of what God is saying ..when he says he testifies with our spirit that we are his children....LOL...
Only God can speak to our spirit via his Holy Spirit.

Once again the carnal mind is hostile to Gods word...and couldn’t understand a word of what God is saying.

No, you didn't. You told me what you think some scripture means. But that is not what it says. There is no verse in scripture that says "The Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are his children/ Born Again children."

Oh there is and I’ve posted it for all to see.

Only a carnal mind can’t understand it...but, it’s there for all to see.

You denied the word of God...

I don’t need to prove you wrong...God has already done that...in his word quite a few times I have posted it for him...I’ve done my bit...I will now hand you over to God...as arguing is of the flesh and not of the Spirit.

The flesh is unedifying and all about self!!!

There is NO glory in self!!

All GLORY goes to God...in Jesus Name... Amen!!!

Romans 12:3 states ... "according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith"...
That particular verse is so often misinterpreted. If you read the whole passage, Romans 12:3-8, it will become pretty apparent that it is not faith that is being measured. Rather the passage is speaking about gifts of grace. It is those gifts that are being measured (given out) consistent with the faith of the one receiving the gift.

Rom 12:6 Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith;
Rom 12:7 if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching;

Rom 12:8 the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.

What is a measure of faith (Romans 12:3)?

measure of faith
audio

ANSWER

In the English Standard Version of the Bible, Romans 12:3 says, “For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.” The New American Standard Bible, King James Version, and Holman Christian Standard Bible also contain “measure of faith,” while “measure of faith” is presented as “the faith God has distributed to each of you” in the New International Version and “the faith God has given us” in the New Living Translation.

Right away, two facts are apparent about the “measure of faith”: first, it is the standard by which we correctly appraise ourselves, and, second, it is meted out by God. Because each believer receives his measure of faith by God’s allotment, we are prevented from thinking of ourselves “more highly” than we ought.

Looking at the broader context of Romans 12:3, we notice there is something else given by God. The grace of God is mentioned as a gift to Paul in the same verse, and that same grace is mentioned as a gift to all believers in verse 6: “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.” So, immediately following his discussion of the measure of faith, Paul speaks of the gifts of the Spirit: prophesying, serving, teaching, encouraging, giving, leading, and showing mercy.

Recognizing that our measure of faith comes from God prevents pride and encourages “sober judgment.” Each of us should recognize the limits of his or her own gifts. At the same time, we must acknowledge the gifts that others possess and that each believer is divinely placed into Christ as a vital and functioning part of His spiritual Body (Romans 12:4–8; cf. 1 Corinthians 12:27). No member should consider himself or herself as superior to any other but should instead recognize that God has placed us just where He wants us with the gifts He has chosen for us (1 Corinthians 12:11).

God has given to each a “measure of faith” to use for Him. This “faith” is the gift from which all the other gifts flow. Faith is the first gift we receive (for justification), and faith is the gift that brings the other gifts of the Spirit into our lives. When a person is born again, God gives him gifts as a new member of the family of God. We receive the gifts according to the measure that God has given us, and we exercise the gifts according to the same measure of faith.

“To each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it” (Ephesians 4:7). God deals to everyone his portion. Not everyone receives all the gifts, nor is the same gift given to everyone in the same measure. Our sovereign God distributes each gracious gift according to the measure of faith that He has bestowed on us.

The gift of faith is one of nine gifts of the Holy Spiritlisted by Paul in 1 Corinthians 12:7-11. Each of these gifts is a supernatural manifestation of the Holy Spirit, who dwells in a believer and operates through him.

That speaks to a supernatural gift of faith which in no way was a gift to all believers any more than the gifts of wisdom, healing, miracles, prophecy, distinguishing between spirits, tongues and interpretation of tongues. I am almost positive that such faith was not imparted to you.

So yes....God is supernatural and yes, God gives supernatural revelation....Spirit gives birth to spirit.

Supernatural!!!...which you admittedly denied the word of God...the Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God...

It’s not a whisper in ones ear...it’s the witness of Gods Spirit to our spirit?..

You also said you didn’t understand what Alive in the Spirit meant and said it was nowhere in scripture...Gods word proved you wrong.

If Spirit gives birth to spirit..isn’t supernatural...then explain what it means?

1 Corinthians 12:7-11 ESV / 8 helpful votes

To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.

Romans 8:6-8

King James Version

6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Rom 5:11

11And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

The Atonement of Christ has reconciled the elect world to God. It secured and ensured for it [ the elect world] every spiritual blessing needed to live unto God and for His Glory through Jesus Christ.

Even before the elect are born into this world as sinners, they have already [by the blood of Christ] been reconciled to God, it will now be a matter of time for it to be manifested.

The atonement accomplished the complete salvation for all whom it was offered for, that is the death of Christ. It provides them Faith, repentance, sanctification, redemption, and every needful spiritual blessing to convert them to God, and remain secured forever.
This is true.... very true!

The question you need to ask is "what is salvation"?

Is salvation being in some heavenly realm? or Ruling with the Christ/Messiah for 1000 years on this Earth?

Are you still part of the Traditions of men... or are you part of the Chosen?

NASB Act 13:48 When the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord; and as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.

You never spoke of what it means to be the elect!!!
Just asking...

So yes....God is supernatural and yes, God gives supernatural revelation..
But not to you, me or anyone else I have ever come across. All the supernatural revelation you need is found in the Bible.
If Spirit gives birth to spirit..isn’t supernatural...then explain what it means?
It means being given the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit.

Yes he did give supernatural revelation to my spirit...which I’ve already posted scripture on it...to which you replied, it’s not saying what I think it’s saying, LOL.....thank God it isn’t you I listen to....you are very limited imo to understanding the Living word of God.........

Bible Verses about God's Revelation of Himself

  • 1 Corinthians 2:10-12
But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God

All supernatural revelation comes from the Living word of God..He is Spirit and is Alive in Spirit...are you that ignorant to not know that Gods Spirit is Alive?....God is not a book and isn’t limited to the Bible...on how he saves his children ..he saves his children from eternal damnation via his Spirit.

Which is Alive and Active?..

Hebrews 4:12

King James Version

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

..a Born Again is saved like the wind as his word says....once we become Born of God through the Spirit....we know that...therefore buy a bible, so we can get to know our Father in Heaven through his Living word..
..not everyone is Born of God reading his word...

John 3:8

“The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.”

John 3:3-8

King James Version

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

It means being given the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
No it doesn’t....it means exactly what God word says...” Spirit gives birth to spirit “....anyone would understand that this is a spiritual birth, that only God can do via his Spirit........don’t add to his word, with your man made theology.

Spirit gives birth to spirit?....again Spirit gives birth ......to spirit.....so, if that has happened to you....isn’t the Holy Spirit, who you say indwells you....therefore his spirit must be Alive in you.....?....

1 Corinthians 3:16

Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?

Older people might think Jesus “living in them” is just a warm spiritual feeling. But God “indwelling” us is more than that. The Bible sometimes says the “Spirit of Christ” lives inside believers (Romans 8:9). More often it says the “Spirit of God” (Romans 8:9) or just the “Holy Spirit” is in us (1 Corinthians 6:19).

Hence......” Spirit gives birth to spirit “.......Gods word is Alive and Active.....which you seem to think, isn’t saying what “ I think” it’s saying.....so tell me...what does Gods word is Alive and Active mean?...his word is pretty self explanatory if you ask me.

Flesh gives birth to flesh?

No need to add anything to the Living word of God...very simple to understand the Living word of God....which the above is.

Because no one cares about my point of view.... Just like no one here cares about your point of view... but maybe me! I care because I look at all views... Paul told us....

1Co 13:9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part; then added ... 1Co 13:12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known.

brightfame52.... I want to see what you see... Possibly one more part... That I have never seen...

However...
You post something Stupid.... that I have seen over and over... Well... you see my dilemma! I'm going to call you out!

Your dealing with a seeker of the Truth... Truth... that is not so easily found on these Forums!!!
