I am not sure what you even mean by Alive in Spirit? That phrase does not appear anywhere in the Bible.
For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. – 1 Peter 3:18NIV.

God is Alive in Spirit as a Born Again you should know that...as he lives in your spirit does he not?

Or maybe you are a new babe?

If you are, then it’s understandable that you wouldn’t know what that means.....only the Holy Spirit can lead us to understand scripture and it’s all in his timing.

Ephesians 2

New International Version

Made Alive in Christ

2 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh[a] and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christand seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Redeems those He died for from the Prison of Unbelief !4

So the bringing out the prisoners from the prison [of unbelief] is deliverance out of unbelief, So faith or believing in Christ is the evidence that Christ's Redemptive Death worked, was effective, in redeeming from iniquity to include unbelief. We know that Christ's redemptive death worked for those He died for when they believe the Gospel of their Salvation, it means that His Death successfully redeemed them out of the Prison, and that their Spiritual eyes had been opened as per Acts 26:18

18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

See when a sinner is in Unbelief they are evidencing being under the Power of satan !

Thats why, all the while we are in a lost state, the god of this world, satan has blinded our minds so that we believe not 2 Cor 4:3-4

3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Thats why its antichrist to say that any of those Christ died for can yet die in their sins in unbelief as Per Jn 8:24

24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

That is to say that ordained effects of Christ's Redemptive Death in the Purpose of God has been defeated by the devil and unbelief which contradicts Isa 42:7, because any and all in unbelief are spiritually in a prison Rom 11:32 ! Now ask yourself as I will ask myself, Did the Christ I believe in, that died for His People, deliver them from the Prison of Unbelief/disobedience ? If not, he is not the Christ of God ! 31

Good, you are not trying to lie about what you teach, again. @JBO
I appreciate that.
So, your RCC Lie, is a Cross denying insult to God.

See, God saves by the Blood of Jesus, and that is "Grace through faith".

Nothing less.

Let me show you something..

The RCC teaches what you believe, = "forgiveness of sin happens when you get wet".
No, the RCC does not teach what I believe. They do teach baptismal regeneration. I do not.
So, what about people in Prison who Believe?
What about people in Communist countries where they wont let you own a bible, and will kill you if you confess Christ as your Savior.
You can't get water baptized in a prison cell, or in one of these Atheistic countries.
You can't get water baptized on your death bed, when you accept Christ as you lay dying.

So, if can see this, then maybe you can escape your cult. @JBO
Perhaps you should leave those decisions up to God. I do think He is able to handle such issues; you obviously are not.

What you can't handle is being shown your cult led mentality/theology.

See, you have no answer, because once you see the ridiculous nonsense that is your belief system, regarding WATER WATER WATER, you now want to "leave it to God".

Pathetic.

What you can't handle is what God has actually said in the Bible and what He hasn't said in the Bible. And as such what isn't there you simply make up to satisfy you seriously lacking soteriology.

Pathetic.

But I will give you a chance. Jesus said, "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved". Please tell me, what do you think He meant? I am really curious to know what your interpretation of what Jesus said there might be.

Do you even own a bible?
I can send you one......

Listen,
Salvation is "Grace through faith".. based on the shed Blood and Death of Jesus on the Cross.

Your "baptismal salvation" Roman Catholic Cult theology, is not related to the finished work of Jesus on the Cross..

Jesus said, "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved".

You only quoted half the verse...

If you read the rest, you'll note that what damns you is quoted, in the verse.

"He that believes not"...

And why is WATER not included?
Its because water has no part in Salvation, exactly as it has no part in Damnation.

Its the BELIEVING that God requires.
And that is why its the UN-Believing who are damned, and are in Hell.
Many of them, are water baptized, and still went to hell.

You need to think on that.... @JBO

Why would he that doesn't believe be baptized? Clearly, your reading skills and comprehension abilities are simply not up to snuff.

He who believes and is baptized with the Holy Spirit is saved from the condemnation of their sin(through the imputed righteousness of Christ). He that does not believe is not saved from the condemnation of their sin. Christ is the only way through which man can be saved.

How does that happen?
Spirit gives birth to spirit.

When God births our spirit into his....it’s a living birth, spiritual birth.....how would I know how God does that.

His word is Alive and he testifies with our spirit / speaks to our spirit.....as he’s baptising us in his Spirit ..that we are his children/ Born Again/ Born Again.

As he baptises us with his Spirit...of course the carnal mind could NEVER understand this..

My belief and testimony and it’s biblical.

Spirit gives birth to spirit.?

Flesh gives birth to flesh?

Why don’t you know this ?

I don’t think you understand what I mean, when I say his Spirit is Alive and Active....there is no power like the word of God delivered straight to the heart.....it can NEVER be denied....because the Holy Spirit brings our spirit Alive in Christ....

Yes, of course, but how does that happen? Does it happen to everyone? Does it happen only to some and not others? If some and not others, who are the some that it happens to?
I can’t answer that....who gets baptised in the Holy Spirit.

All I know is, I was, once I was brought to believe in Jesus by God, and no I’m not saying he believed for me, I was the one who believed ..much more to it than that, as I’ve already explained many times in my testimony...not going down that road again.

I don't think you understand what you mean by that.
Oh I do....the Holy Spirit is Alive and Active...how would I know that?...I have already explained in my post, which you either missed or not understanding.

How can a carnal mind understand words from the Spirit of God?

You know that how?
Are you being serious?

I’ve explained it in my posts...you obviously aren’t understanding...no worries..the Holy Spirit will reveal it to your heart in his timing and not before..

You aren’t ready yet maybe to receive that..all in God’s timing..we can’t rush God and I can assure I have tried.

I don’t even bother now...because he is the one in control not me.

One time I would tell him how everything was going to happen....I can see him now..laughing at me...

God is in control, no question about it!

Only God knows the beginning to the end.

Of course I am being serious. You think God spoke to you directly? Was it something you heard? Was it in a dream? Did you just think it up?
I’ve already told you many times.

The Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are his children/ Born Again children...by the Spirit of God...Spirit gives birth to spirit.

The carnal mind would say...did you think it up....because the carnal mind knows nothing of the Spirit of God.

Gods word says...understanding ?

15For you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” 16The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17And if we are children, then we are heirs: heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ—if indeed we suffer with Him, so that we may also be glorified with Him

Romans 8
Berean Standard BiblePar ▾
Walking by the Spirit
(Ezekiel 36:16–38; Galatians 5:16–26)
1Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.a2For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set youb free from the law of sin and death. 3For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man, as an offering for sin.c He thus condemned sin in the flesh, 4so that the righteous standard of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
5Those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. 6The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace,7because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 8Those controlled by the fleshd cannot please God.
9You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. 10But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alivee because of righteousness. 11And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the deadf will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you.
Heirs with Christ
12Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation, but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. 13For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
15For you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” 16The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17And if we are children, then we are heirs: heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ—if indeed we suffer with Him, so that we may also be glorified with Him.
Future Glory
(2 Corinthians 5:1–10)
18I consider that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us. 19The creation waits in eager expectation for the revelation of the sons of God. 20For the creation was subjected to futility, not by its own will, but because of the One who subjected it, in hope 21that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.
22We know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until the present time. 23Not only that, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. 24For in this hope we were saved; but hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he can already see? 25But if we hope for what we do not yet see, we wait for it patiently.
26In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words. 27And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
God Works in All Things
(Ephesians 1:3–14)
28And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. 29For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers. 30And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified.
31What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, freely give us all things? 33Who will bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34Who is there to condemn us? For Christ Jesus, who died, and more than that was raised to life, is at the right hand of God—and He is interceding for us.
More than Conquerors
(Psalm 44:1–26)
35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36As it is written:
“For Your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”g
37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
