Dear Earburner,
There are no scriptures which support your comments. Absolutely zero.
That is because of your false interpretation of what the early rain and the latter rain actually are.
Faith is given to a person by Christ when He gives them the indwelling of the Early Rain of the Spirit.

Rom 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
Wrong!! Only WHEN they actually ask for the Gift of God's Holy Spirit, by answering His "knocking" from OUTSIDE the "door" of their innermost being, shall they THEN receive the Holy Spirit. Luke 11:13
In other words: The "knocking" by Christ IS FROM THE OUTSIDE. He CANNOT ENTER INTO anyone, who IGNORES/REFUSES to answer His "knocking".

"Every man" is referring to the believers in the church who have received the Early Rain of the Spirit. It is the Spirit that gives them their "measure of faith".
What part of knocking on someone's door don't you understand??
The "early rain" occurs FROM OUTSIDE of themselves, being Christ's knocking!!
Once they acknowledge it, it is their responsibility TO OPEN THE DOOR,...OR NOT. However, by Him ENTERING INTO them, He Himself IS "THE LATTER RAIN".
If "every man" was referring to all mankind, then all mankind would have faith in Christ - but all mankind does NOT have faith in Christ because all mankind does not have the indwelling of the Spirit.
CORRECT!! They NEVER OPENED the door, and therefore, Christ IS STILL OUTSIDE of them, having for themselves nothing but a religious way of going. Paul says: "they have a FORM of godliness, but DENY the power thereof."
All of such are empty vessels, void of the Spirit of God, aka "Religionists".
The Corinthian church had only received the Early Rain of the Spirit. The first three chapters of 1Corinthians clearly shows that this is the case.

Look at what Paul says to them:

1Cor 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

2Cor 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

A person becomes the temple of God after the Early Rain of the Spirit indwells them. When the spirit of anti-Christ also indwells them, the spirit of anti-Christ is sitting in God's temple (the believer) showing himself that he is God.
WRONG! They become a temple AFTER the latter rain, which is after Christ "knocked", and THEY ANSWERED!!

"Babes IN Christ", are recipients of the "Latter rain", the PERMANENT indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Doubt it not!!
When the spirit of anti-Christ and the Early Rain of the Spirit both indwell a person, they will try to serve two masters by mixing "works" (taught by Satan) with faith (taught by Christ). When this happens, the believer will fall away from faith and become a man of sin/Seven Headed Beast.

"Falling away" can only happen to unconverted believers who only have the indwelling of the Early Rain of the Spirit. I explained this truth in my last post. If a believer has both the Early and Latter Rains of the Spirit, they cannot fall away.

Your beliefs don't come from scripture as you believe. They come from the teachings of the ministers of Satan in the apostate church. You need to pray for understanding and for more faith. This is given to a believer only when Christ gives them the Latter Rain of the Spirit.
NO! You need to pray for understanding!!
I am correctly interpreting Rev. 3:20, of which you have ignored entirely throughout our discussion, even though I repeat it continuously.
Therefore to me, you are not hearing his voice.
Have you OPENED THE DOOR, and invited/asked [Luke 11:13,] for Him to come INTO your life, or are you just assuming that He did?

Maybe, YOU yourself "should be alarmed!"
As I have been saying, we need to end this discussion because the truth of the scriptures I have presented to you are "veiled". If anything changes for you, I would be willing to engage with you again.

Joe
I would most likely say that the Latter Rain, who is Christ Himself, has "sealed/saved" me completely!!
See Rom.8:8-9.

Dear Brakelite,
That scripture (Rom 3:10) most certainly applied to me before my conversion. After Christ healed my spiritual blindness so that I could "see" the truth for the first time, I was very humbled.

I now depend on the Lord for everything in my life. He truly directs my steps and He does so by causing me to "will and do of His good pleasure" (Phi 2:13). The works that I do are His works which He does through me. I have nothing I can boast about concerning who I have become. I am only converted and saved because He chose to bless me with His free gift. I am the Lord's workmanship and His bondservant.

Joe
And I can quite truthfully and sincerely declare the same. But in preaching to others, you take such things several steps further. You add to that testimony declarations that are illogical and in your fear of what you call boasting, have brought dishonor upon the character of God to the point where you paint Him predominantly as a God of power, strength, authority, and arbitrary selfish law. You miss love. You miss mercy and grace. You also miss the fact that you have decided to co-operate with God in His ministry to you. Yes, God chose you first. Whilst you were yet a sinner, Christ died for you. And the precious gift of redemption God made on behalf of all men, but not all men choose to accept the gift. You don't choose to serve God?
You don't choose to honour Him above all others?
You don't choose to obey, love, and cherish all the things of God and seek His righteousness and His kingdom before all else?
You don't choose to shun the things of this world, the lusts of the flesh, the eyes, and the pride of life because they belong to this world and not the Father?
Notwithstanding the truth that "without Me ye can do nothing", choosing good over evil, choosing the narrow path over the wide road, are all choices you must make. Making those choices freely and deciding to serve God and love Him with all your mind, heart, body, and soul, are voluntary responses to the love God has bestowed upon you through His Son Jesus. To make those choices are certainly beyond the capability of the carnal man without the aid of the holy Spirit, yet they are choices everyone must make.
To make these choices we need to surrender. God's promise is, "Ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13.
The whole heart must be yielded to God, or the change can never be wrought in us by which we are to be restored to His likeness. By nature we are alienated from God. The Holy Spirit describes our condition in such words as these: "Dead in trespasses and sins;" "the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint;" "no soundness in it." We are held fast in the snare of Satan, "taken captive by him at his will." Ephesians 2:1; Isaiah 1:5, 6; 2 Timothy 2:26. God desires to heal us, to set us free. But since this requires an entire transformation, a renewing of our whole nature, we must yield ourselves wholly to Him.

Dear Brakelite,
If a believer has not seen the Abomination of Desolation that occurred within themselves, they are still spiritually blind and unconverted.

Everyone will experience the "day of evil" to humble them. It is only when a person comes out from being deceived that they can they know that they were being deceived in the first place.

Have you ever seen that you were under the complete deceptions of Satan after you first believed and that you remained in that fallen away condition until Christ came to you a second time and poured out the Latter Rain of the Spirit? Converted believers have seen it.

Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand. 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

Psa 68:9 Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful RAIN (the Latter Rain), whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.

1Sam 12:17 Is it not wheat harvest to day? I will call unto the LORD, and he shall send thunder and RAIN
(the Latter Rain); that ye may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which ye have done in the sight of the LORD, in asking you a king.

Jer 3:3 Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no Latter Rain; and thou hadst a whore's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.

The Latter Rain is the Spirit of Truth:

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

When an Elect believer is given the Spirit of Truth, their spiritual blindness will be healed and they will then be able to understand the truth that Christ teaches under the New Covenant. This is when Christ appears to a person from the clouds (His veil) - the second coming of Christ.

A part of the truth that a believer sees when they are going through the conversion process is that they have been under Satan's deceptions all along and have been dwelling in the apostate church. With the knowledge of that truth, a believer's worldly paradigm will be come crashing down and will be replaced with a new paradigm that is given to them by the Holy Spirit. When that happens, the believer's life will be changed and they will flee from the apostate church system and never look back. This is when the believer will enter through the straight gate that leads to life that only a "few" will find (Mat 7:13).

This scripture below applies to a believer's time of conversion:

2Thes 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, UNTIL he be taken out of the way (time of conversion). 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed (spiritual blindness healed), whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth (Spirit of Truth/Latter Rain), and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him (spirit of anti-Christ), whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

The "power and signs and lying wonders" that the spirit of anti-Christ gives a believer is often mistaken for when a believer is receiving the Latter Rain of the Spirit. But those signs and lying wonders are nothing more than carnal displays of the flesh and they do not give the believer any truth. What they do accomplish though, is they make the carnally minded and spiritually blind believer "worse than the first" (Mat 12:43-45).

I have witnessed these false signs & wonders many years ago when I was still under Satan's deceptions and dwelling in "peace and safety" in the apostate church. They are very deceiving to spiritually blind believers.

Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

During the time a person is being converted by Christ, Christ is doing His spiritual work within the person to change their heart and mind. After Christ's work gives the believer a new paradigm, they will see the true Christ for the first time (His veil is removed). And since the Holy Spirit comes with "power", they will be able to follow Christ's commandments of loving God and loving their neighbors (which includes loving their enemies) as themselves.

After their conversion, the believer will then start walking by the Spirit and by Truth.

Only then will they "choose to honour Him above all others, choose to obey, love, and cherish all the things of God and seek His righteousness and His kingdom before all else and choose to shun the things of this world, the lusts of the flesh, the eyes, and the pride of life"

When the person does these things which you mentioned above, it is the outward evidence that they have been changed spiritually (from within). The person cannot take credit for any of it because it is Christ who is doing those things through them. They have no works or choices that they can claim as their own.

A person's salvation happens only by the work of Christ and only at a time of His choosing. A person has no say in the matter.

In this age, Christ is only saving the people who have been chosen from the foundation of the world for this blessing. They are the Elect.

Eph 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Christ is not working to save anyone else in this age - however, Christ will not forget the rest of mankind. In the final age, before they perish in the Lake of Fire, Christ will have mercy upon them. At that time, Christ will give them the necessary faith to make His pathway straight to come and convert them into children of God. The children of God will then be gathered up to heaven, leaving only the children of the devil (the things that made them carnal/sinful) in the Lake of Fire to perish (this satisfies justice).

Mat 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law: justice, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

After the last person of mankind has been saved, this scripture below will be testified to be true:

1Tim 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; 4 who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

You still have not understood the parable of "The strongman" and He who is "the Stronger".
Mat. 12:29
Mark 3:27
Luke 3:21-26
Therein lies the truth of how Satan and his evil horde "sit in" the (potential) temple(s) of God, and HOW Jesus (the Stronger) removes him, and KEEPS HIM OUT.

Dear Earburner,
I explained that to you already. The spirit of anti-Christ enters a believer after they have received the Early Rain of the Spirit. Christ removes the spirit of anti-Christ when He gives the fallen away believer the Latter Rain. The Latter Rain comes with power and strength. The Early Rain does not. The apostate churches of the world are made up of fallen away believers who have only been given the Early Rain.

When did this present Age of God's Grace, to have faith in Jesus, end?
Please provide the necessary NT scriptures that shows your claim?

You still have not understood the parable of "The strongman, and He who is the Stronger".
Mat. 12:29
Mark 3:27
Luke 3:21-26
Therein lies the truth of how sar
Dear Earburner,

Job 37:6 For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain (Early Rain), and to the great rain (Latter Rain) of his strength.

Now take a look at what the story of the "Two Witnesses" teaches.

The Two Witnesses represent each Elect believer of this age as they travel the pathway to salvation. They do not represent two future people who appear at the end of the literal age - that is a carnal understanding of the story.

The two witnesses begin their journey when they receive the Early Rain of the Spirit. The verse below describes what happens to the Two Witnesses shortly after this time.

Rev 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

The scripture below describes what happens to them when they receive the Latter Rain of the Spirit (which comes in power and strength):

Rev 11:11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them (this is the Latter Rain), and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. 12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

The above scripture represents when a fallen away Elect believer is converted and gathered up to heaven (spiritually speaking).

The scripture below describes the same event:

Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days (the time a believer has the spirit of anti-Christ) shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with POWER and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Judgment will immediately follow the salvation event that was described above. The verses below describe when Christ (the stronger man) removes the spirit of anti-Christ from within the believer:

Mat 24:39 And knew not until the flood came (represents judgment), and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40 Then shall two (one flesh/one believer) be in the field; the one shall be taken (spirit of anti-Christ), and the other left (Holy Spirit). 41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken (Great Harlot/carnal nature), and the other left (new spiritual nature that the Holy Spirit gives the believer).

Now consider the parable of the strongman:

Luke 11:21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace (apostate believer dwells in peace and safety): 22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him (the Latter Rain), and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted (the believer's own "works"), and divideth his spoils.

WHAT?? You said what??? "Christ is NOT working to SAVE anyone else in this age"?
REALLY?!!!
When did this present Age of God's Grace, to have faith in Jesus, end?
Please provide the necessary NT scriptures that shows your claim?
Dear Earburner,
You believe that it is up to mankind to decide if they are going to accept Christ and be saved. Therefore, you believe that all mankind has an "opportunity" to be saved in this age. This false belief is founded upon man's works and is what Satan's false gospel teaches. It is filthy rags.

God's Word teaches that mankind has no ability to seek out or understand Christ. In this condition, Christ must come to each person and do all the spiritual work of changing their heart and mind so that they make a confession of faith. Christ does this work by giving each person (without their asking or permission) both the Early and Latter Rains of the Spirit. After Christ gives this gift of salvation, Christ will judge the person to remove the things that make them carnal and sinful. This will leave only the Holy Spirit within them who will govern their heart and mind. This is how a person is converted and saved. It happens only by the work of Christ and it happens only at a time that Christ decides. Mankind has no say in the matter.

Here are a few scriptures:

Psa 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

Psa 105:6 O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.

Mat 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

Mark 13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

Acts 10:39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: 40 Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; 41 NOT TO ALL PEOPLE, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, EVEN TO US, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead
(this represents the Marriage Supper of the Lamb that occurs during the conversion process, the Elect can eat and drink because their spiritual blindness has been healed).

Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Rom 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Rom 9:11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to ELECTION might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth.

Rev 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world (those NOT chosen), when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

Why can't you accept what these verses above teach?

I know why you can't accept these verses; because if you did, your belief in man's free will ability (works) would come crashing down. You would then have to depend upon and trust Christ for every aspect of your salvation, even the timing of it. The carnal mind hates this truth.

Sorry, but I do not believe that anyone is predestined to be saved,...or unsaved!!
The only thing that was predestined before the foundation of the world, was the plan of God's salvation, for "whosoever WILL believe in Jesus".

However, God knowing the past, present and future, all at the same time, does have foreknowledge, and therefore does know who shall be saved in every generation, as well as WHEN ALL the world will stop repenting towards Him. "The mark of the Beast" will bring this about, aka "the separation of the goats from the sheep."
Mat. 13
[30] Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares [goats], and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat [sheep] into my barn.
(a direct reference to 2 Thes. 1:7-10, of which is a simultaneous event, all within 24 hours.). Luke 17:26-30.

Rev. 16
[9] And men were scorched with great heat [the literal return of Christ in flaming fire], and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
[11] And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

As a result, God's foreknowledge is not predestination.

Dear Earburner,
I've explained the problem with your understanding of "foreknowledge" before, but I will try again.

What you are saying is that since Christ has the foreknowledge of who is going to make a "choice" for Him and who isn't, Christ turns around and uses that information to claim that He was the one who chose the Elect, when in fact, the opposite is true. In other words, your belief claims that Christ is a thief who takes credit for the work of others. That is not the Christ I know.

The scriptures below teach that Christ's foreknowledge comes from the CERTAINTY that He will accomplish EVERYTHING exactly as He has stated beforehand and that He will achieve this outcome by His own work. His desired outcome is not dependent upon anyone or anything else. He alone will accomplish it.

Isa 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning (foreknowledge of the future), and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: 11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.

Job 23:13 But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? And what his soul desireth, that will he do.

Dan 4:35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he doeth according to his will in the army of the heavens, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

Nowhere in scripture does it ever say that Christ can look into the future like a foreteller and see how things turn out. Things turn out the way they do because Christ causes them to turn out that way. He is that powerful.

Your understanding of "foreknowledge" is a lie from Satan and it blasphemes the name of Christ. Can't you see that?

I explained that to you already. The spirit of anti-Christ enters a believer after they have received the Early Rain of the Spirit. Christ removes the spirit of anti-Christ when He gives the fallen away believer the Latter Rain. The Latter Rain comes with power and strength. The Early Rain does not. The apostate churches of the world are made up of fallen away believers who have only been given the Early Rain.
No!!! Stop saying that the "early rain" is the "GIVING" of the Holy Spirit. That is how you are messing up what you are attempting to say.

The Holy Spirit is ONLY GIVEN to SEAL us unto the day of redemption. Jesus Himself IS the "latter rain".
The early rain is Christ knocking OUTSIDE all the believers and unbelievers, looking/waiting for their free will decision to OPEN THE DOOR, and INVITE/ASK Him to come INTO THEIR life. THAT IS the GIVING of the Holy Spirit of God.

Edit: what did you think the words "ASK and it shall be GIVEN you" is describing?
Luke 12
[9] And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
[10] For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Though MANY are "called" to believe in Christ, there are FEW who have "made their calling and their election sure [sealed]".

Until they do invite Christ into themselves, (become Born Again]) they REMAIN to be VOID
of the indwelling Spirit of Christ ("the Stronger") and thus are STILL "open season" for satan and his horde to re-enter them.

Dear Earburner,
You said:

Yes, Jesus is the Latter Rain but He is also the Early Rain.

Hos 6:3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the RAIN, as the Latter and Former RAIN unto the earth.

The Early Rain is the Spirit of Faith because it gives an unbeliever a "measure of faith".

The Latter Rain is the Spirit of Truth because it heals the believer's spiritual blindness so that Christ can feed the believer the truth during the Marriage Supper of the Lamb/Lord's Supper. This is when the believer opens the door to Christ (I will talk about that verse below).

Both Rains indwell a person when they are given to them by Christ. No where in scripture does it ever say that the Spirit "comes along side" the person. It comes within a person and changes their heart and mind.

As for the verse you have been quoting, you are misunderstanding what it is teaching.

Here is the verse:

Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

The house is a believer who only has the Early Rain of the Spirit. They are in a fallen away state and are mixing works with faith. When Christ decides it is time to convert them, He will send a person to them in the spirit of Elijah with the call to repent from dead works. If the person is one of the Elect, Christ will give them the gift of repentance which will make His pathway straight for Him to come into the person (the house) as the Latter Rain of the Spirit. After Christ enters the believer, their spiritual blindness will be healed and He will "sup" with them. This dinner represents the Marriage Supper of the Lamb/Lord's Supper when Christ feeds His bread and New Wine to the newly born again Elect believer.

Below is the scripture which teaches when Christ gives the gift of repentance to one of His Elect. Notice that the verse says that the believer has been taken by the snare of the devil (same as Isa 28:9-12). They are in a fallen away state and are in the apostate church.

2Tim 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure WILL GIVE THEM REPENTANCE to the acknowledging of the truth; 26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

If the believer is not one of the Elect, Christ will not give them the gift of repentance when the call of Elijah is made to them. The call of Elijah happens just before Christ knocks at the door. For the Elect who are given the gift of repentance, they will hear the Lord's voice and will open the door.

A person has no ability to repent unless Christ causes it to happen. He provides everything an Elect believer needs for their salvation.

You quoted Rev 16:9-11 in your previous post and I want to make some comments on it now.

Chapter 16 presents the judgments of Christ by the pouring out of the vials of God's wrath.

Verses 9-11 is referring to the Elect who are still under the influence of the spirit of anti-Christ. They have not yet repented of their works. The plaques that Christ sends to them come from the Great Harlot (the believer's worsened carnality that is controlled by the spirit of anti-Christ). This portion of God's wrath does not convert the Elect believer.

Rev 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat (judgment), and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues (these are the plagues of the Great Harlot, Rev 18:4): and they repented not to give him glory (they are claiming the works of Christ as their own). 10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness (no truth in it); and they gnawed their tongues for pain, 11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores (sins), and repented not of their deeds (works).

The next two vials (6&7) describe the judgment portion of the conversion event for the Elect. It skips showing the repentance of the Elect believer and their receiving of the Latter Rain since chapter 16 is only describing Christ's judgment (the vials).

Below are the key verses:

Rev 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

This is the same as this verse:

Rev 9:14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

The "kings of the east" represents the same thing as do the "four angels" and are also the same as the "mighty angels" in the verse from 2Thes1:7.

2Thes 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Those "who know not God" are the spirit of anti-Christ and the Great Harlot.

The next two verses of chapter 16 show when Christ appears to the born again Elect believer and when He brings judgment to the spirit of anti-Christ and the Great Harlot. When He comes, Christ comes as a thief in the night (same as 1Thes 5:2 & 2Pet 3:10)

Rev 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. 16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

The "blessed" are the Elect. At this time, the Elect have already been given the gift of repentance and have received the Latter Rain of the Spirit. They have put on their white robes of righteousness.

The battle of Armageddon is when Christ's judgment falls on the Elect believer. This judgment will remove and destroy all the things that make have made the Elect believer carnal (spirit of anti-Christ and the Great Harlot). It is shown in Mat 24:39-41. In this way, the believer does not experience the wrath of the Lake of Fire. The last half of Revelation chapter 19 shows this separation during the believer's time of judgment.

The Great Harlot's description and judgment are shown in more detail in chapters 17 & 18.

The "ages" were created by God for Christ to create new children for God. Christ is only doing His work within the time frame of the ages. When the ages end, Christ will deliver up the Kingdom of Heaven to the Father. At that time, Christ's reign will end, along with the ages (1Cor 15:20-28).

Also, there are still no scriptures that teach about the nature of time/eternity after the ages come to an end. Your comments are nothing but speculation.

You should not "go beyond what is written". It leads to error.

1Cor 4:6 Now, brothers and sisters, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying, “Do not go beyond what is written.” Then you will not be puffed up in being a follower of one of us over against the other.

I'm sorry, but your theology and eschatology and mixed up scriptures reveal no pattern and no order. It's a hodge-podge and a confusion of truth and tragic error. I see no fruit coming from discussing any of it with you. What you need to do is start again. From scratch. Discard everything, literally everything you think you know, and all the Lord to teach you afresh... From the very beginning.
Some of what you present I agree with. But it is so mixed up with completely out of context references your conclusions and beliefs have become nonsensical and Babylonian. Confusion. You need to start again.

Evidently, in your estimation, Peter is just as bad as I am.
2 Peter 3:10-13.
[10] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
[11] Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
[12] Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
[13] Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

My must humble apologies. Somehow, completely unbeknown to myself, I quoted you by mistake. My entire post was intended for @FaithWillDo . Again, my apologies. As for you, I commend you patience and your willingness to engage with him.

I see no scriptures calling or describing God's "ages" of time. I perceive that all of such that you may see, is just a fabrication of what YOU hope to see.

My must humble apologies. Somehow, completely unbeknown to myself, I quoted you by mistake. My entire post was intended for @FaithWillDo . Again, my apologies. As for you, I commend you patience and your willingness to engage with him.
I must say BL, my head was spinning there for a minute. But, it did call out what needed to be said to this thread.
Thanks for the apology, and helping me understand the mistake of your post and delivery! No problem, all is forgiven
