What Bible? there was no Bible in Jesus' time
The Gospel...! From those days until now, it has only multiplied in spite of your ignorance, or don't you know that the scriptures the apostles referred to when preaching the "NT GOSPEL" was the old testament scriptures. They preached the entire Gospel from the bible of that day, and those scriptures from that bible produced the greatest Christians this world has ever witnessed.

I'm well aware of that my friend. My point is, when they spoke of the scriptures, there was no New Testament, only the 39 Old Testament books.

That did not prevent them from using the word "GOSPEL" when talking about their mission, in spite of the fact their bible was not yours. That is my point my friend.

The word "Gospel" is just a translation. It doesn't mean "scriptures" or "Bible".

It's euaggelizó, Strong's 2097, meaning "To proclaim good news, to evangelize, to preach..."

It's not about the meaning or translation, it's about the usage and the fact that they preached it when there were no "NEW" testament scriptures at that time. The scriptures they referred to, to "PREACH" the Gospel was from the Old Testament. GET IT!
