How can anyone read the clear pretrib rapture doctrine verses and procede to discredit them?

I find it's often related to someone's view of Israel and the church. When Israel is considered to be the NT church composed of Jews and Gentiles, that this is now "Israel", then rapture and end of the age doctrines will likewise suffer.

All going back to when Israel was dispersed for so long, and so many people disbelieved the Scriptures that Israel will remain a nation, and would be in their ancestral borders again before the end of the age.

The so-called "dispensationalism" is just the resurgance of Christians who will again believe the Bible, even that part.

The 144k are sealed.
This shows us the church is no longer on earth and God has turned to the Jewish harvest.

Interestingly, John wrote that "the servants of God" were sealed on their foreheads, and that there were 144,000 of them, all Israelites.

Chuck Missler is a real good teacher, rip Chuck. He totally and thoroughly proves a pre trib rapture in this Lonnng video. It's long so the hostile post tribbers are guarenteed not to watch it, but if you've been following any of that and havent made up your mind yet then sometimes it helps to have a real teacher teach about it, and uses so much scripture in this video, so have a pen ready to take notes. Ask The Holy Spirit to show you the truth.

I lived in Southern California. In the early 90's. As a new Christian, on occasiom I used to visit Tetelestai, (Hal Lindsey's church) and Calvary Chapel, Costa Mesa (Chuck Smith's church). Chuck Misler visited those churches we ever he was in town. I saw him several times. I was fascinated by his intellect and knowledge; read several of his books and listened to many tapes of his. He would argue for God's existence and use the design of the Universe. I remember one book, "The Devine Watchmaker". It was something. They say he was a genius - I believe it.
I frequented many evangelical churches that held the same Pre-Trib views. These guys got me hooked on a journey I'm still on. However, after years of study, there was always doubts, something off about this view, so I never really became a Pre-Tribber. I would prefer to be one, but what I have come to undersand that differs from the premise that he keeps basing his hermeneutics on is this:
1. The 70th week of Daniel was a prophecy that concerned Jesus 1st Coming only. He came AFTER the 69TH week, in the 70th week and died in the middle of it. It did not have be completed. Daniel 9 is talking about Jesus, then make a couple parathetical side notes about the destruction of Jerusalem ( not part of the 70 weeks).
2. The immensely of His return is not doctrinal! In other words, no other generation could have expected Him. Why? Jesus gave us signs of his return and no other generation saw these signs. I can list them, but the main one is Matt. 24:14. Christianity had not spread ti every nation and every tribe in an anybither generation. Only recently, it has.
3. Chuck fails to mention specifically at what signal, the rapture occurs!

Pre-tribbers must avoid this topic at all costs or claim that it is a trumpet blast _ all alone _ unrelated to any other blast.
If it is the last, then trumpet sounds come before it and it is part of a series. If it was after the 7th then it would be the 8th. If it was beforebthe seven trumpets, it wouldn't be the last! One theory posed by the Pre-Trib view is that this last Trump occurs during the Feast of Trumpets. That cannot be, since these trumpets blast are b lown by angels. The Feast of Trumpets is an earthly celebration. Trumpets are blown by humans in various locations.

I pose that it is in fact the 7th Trumpet. And therefore, it is a Pre-Wrath event ( which the Church would not suffer). The wrath comes in the 7 Bowls. So as you can see, I hold a Mid-Trib view ( or Pre-Wrath).
Post Tribbers would also need to avoid this "last/7th Trumpet scenario, since the GT still continues on when Christ shows up. He comes for His Bride, but also to war against and defeat His enemies ( unless you think his judgment is swift and everyone dies in a flash in one day).

All in all, this does not take away from many of Chuck's points of view, he's very knowledgable. I could be wrong though? You know what I've noticed (and he is so fast that one can miss it); but he makes a point, even gives a scripture; and without proving his point in detail, he'll say ( We'll get back to that later or I don't want to go through that now ...) The thing is, he never does. It is as if his brain is going too fast and there is just too much info to cover, so he skips it and either promises a return to fill us in or tell's us we can do that on our own. That is not thorough, it's rushed and sloppy. RC Soroul is the opposite, slow but thorough. Chuck challenges us to keep up with him ... knowing our heads are spinning and to me that is not a good teacher. It's a bit of prideful. " I think fast so you better keep up, I am not willing to slow down for you and give you all the details, just a brief dissertation at Mach 1 speed ... are you still with me?"

It is a two part teaching. I think if we spend the time to watch the teachings we will be greatly rewarded in knowing God's will and plan in future is very clearly spelled out in his word.

The so called pre-Tribulation rapture is referenced throughout Scripture. Even in the Book of Job.

Many have been taught that the working of anti christ itself is the same thing as the wrath of GOD .

My advice remains . WE had better be ready to suffer and die for CHRIST , cause the persecutions

WE ABOUT TO SEE IT EXPLODE in ONE HECK OF A Massive great tribulation hour
which under the power of the beast IS GONNA HIT A PEAK AGAINST the true lambs .

That is exactly what my great high priest said . The great apostel , the great shepard of the sheep .
My advice is , we better SIT UNDER THAT SHEPARD and test all others against HIS WORDS .
