Well to me over time, in the Spirit, I did realize this expression from Galatians was meant for me today as I began to understand why it was written in the first place....

The context and background of the Galatians: They were being bombarded by Judaizers...trying to reconvert new believers in Christ back to the OC and back under the Law.

What Paul taught generally in Romans 6 he applied to himself in Galatians 2. There's no mystery in this. It's true for all who are baptized into Christ.

I find Romans 6 being largely ignored here. And by all appearance, simply not believed by some.

Oh my gosh, once again, to trust God and hope in a promise is NOT a lack of faith. Yes, Abraham believed God. Abraham did NOT assert that he already was the father of many since God promised it would happen. Because Abraham did not assert that he was already the father of many before he even had a child, does that mean he lacked trust?? Why then, if I see my flesh Is not crucified yet do you insist it means I don’t trust God to do it?

I was given the baptism of the down payment of the Holy Spirit. My flesh has not yet been crucified. I have been weaned though.
