The end-time signs keep coming. The sinful city of Las Vegas is being hit with swarms of grasshoppers. Locusts are a type of grasshopper, which is often associated with a Biblical plague.

The end-time signs keep coming. The sinful city of Las Vegas is being hit with swarms of grasshoppers. Locusts are a type of grasshopper, which is often associated with a Biblical plague.

Did you see the video footage of the Luxor Hotel/Casino? The hotel is in the shape of a giant pyramid with the "capstone" being a huge bright light which sends an enormous beam of light into the sky. The grasshoppers swarm on it at night giving the illusion that the area of the "all-seeing eye" is ON FIRE! The illusion is further extended by the grasshoppers flying upward in the light beam like specks of ash and the swarm distorts the light beam to make it look like smoke. Plagues? PLAGUES? Everyone has gone SILLY. There are no plagues, -- especially in Southern California where the rats are carrying fleas, which are carrying disease; or where the homeless are defecating in the storm drains, which washes into the ocean, and pollutes the shore:

There is some mention of Bubonic plague coming to L.A. and possibly even San Fran[sicko]. Poor sanitation, overcrowding and rats = plague. There is already a report of a plague outbreak with a terrifying CFR (Case Fatality Rate) in a city in Mongolia. The city, Uglii (I think that's what it is called) is under lockdown and a number of Western tourists are trapped there. An American tourist and his pregnant wife (both in their early 30s) died as a result of the infection. Chinese epidemiologists have diagnosed it as a new version of Bubonic plague. Biblical pestilence?

I suspect that major cities will suffer the most, but nothing confines an outbreak so even rural communities are susceptible. It seems the best option (and NO options are PERFECT) is to do as Abraham and go into the mountains, and leave the valley to others -- along with the judgements. :)

During the horrible Spanish Influenza outbreak of 1917-18, one of the few communities spared was a town in Colorado which early-on put strict quarantine in place--no one was allowed in or out of the town. Not sure how they got supplies but maybe they were subsistence farmers.

I hear they are quit delicious, with some honey. I have always wanted to try them, Many years ago my brother worked at a fancy Deli- and I was able to try some dipped in chocolate, but they just tasted like chocolate!! LOL

You probably know that John the Baptist ate locusts and wild honey while he was preaching out in the wilderness. Protein, fat (grasshoppers have a lot of protein and beneficial fat, it seems) and carbohydrates. Yum--yum.
