Childish games are activities or pastimes that are typically enjoyed by children and often involve simple rules, imagination, and physical activity. I'm asking if you misspoke when you said that there's a plurality within unity regarding God.
It seems that your understanding may not fully align with the explanation I've provided regarding the Biblical expression of plurality in relation to God and His manifestations. Revisit this explanation would help clarify how God is expressed and works through different agencies.

If you have any queries relating to that post fire away!

Most importantly above all of these is the Atonement and its reconciling principles which are totally lost on Trinitarians.

So, if one actually believes God's Word... they are a dreaded "Trinitarian" clueless-scratching.gif

1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Concerning the trinity... the Father, the Son, and the Spirit... are One!

Pretty hard to explain away something scripture clearly tells us which is... One is Three, and the Three are One.
Hang in there bud... maybe you'll get it someday! amen-prayer.gif

Well, if you really want to be that simplistic and also deliberately vague, I deny that the Son is God and the the Holy Spirit is another separate person god. There is only one God, who is called the Father, and he has a Spirit and it's holy indeed.

Now what?

Oh my... you'll be "moving on" rolleyes3.gif.... as in giving up understanding 1 John 5:7???

1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

if you really want to be that simplistic

2 Corinthians 11:3
I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Taking God at His Word is apparently too tough for some to handle...

@Dan Clarkston and @Johann because he liked it, and needs to learn how to read the Bible contextually.

I'm surprised you didn't quote 1 John 5:20 as well...maybe it hasn't found its way into you verses to twist!

Starting in verse 1 John 5:2, we read...

For this is the love of God....

Then in verse 4...

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world...

Verse 9...

If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater...

Verse 10...

...he that believeth not God hath made Him a liar...

Verse 11...

...God hath given to us eternal life,

Verse 15...

...we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him (referring to God).

Verse 18...

We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not...

Verse 19...

And we know that we are of God,...

Hmmm I wonder Who is in view in this Chapter?

Could it be the One True God?

Yes, I believe so!

Ever see all the scriptures about the Father?
Ever see all the scriptures about the Jesus?
Ever see all the scriptures about the Holy Spirit?

So then you admit that you reject Jesus... and the Holy Ghost too??? clueless-scratching.gif

Keep scratching!

Some fervent Trinitarians can become defensive when confronted with overwhelming evidence that challenges their beliefs, as you are displaying. They resort to tactics (silly games) that they believe give them an advantage in debates. These strategies are often seen as attempts to maintain a competitive edge, despite the weight of the arguments against their position.

I find it amusing.

While I agree wholeheartedly with everything else in your post, the above excerpt is where i begin to draw back, for 2 main reasons.
First, co-equal denies the sense of submission and obedience of the Son throughout scripture, even in the OT...eg. Lo, I come to do Thy will o God.

Second, and more importantly, is the so called indivisibility of the Godhead/ trinity. That concept as expressed in most creeds and church manuals today, deny the full incarnation of Christ (meaning there is a part of Christ that didn't become human but remained with the trinity in heaven), and the atonement because the unity that cannot be divided means a part of Jesus didn't die. If that were the case, we are left with nothing more than a human sacrifice, and at no cost or risk to God whatsoever.
I understand your concern @Brakelite.

@Dan Clarkston asked you an important question--So then you admit that you reject Jesus... and the Holy Ghost too???

What role does Yehoshua HaMashiach (יְהוֹשֻׁעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ) and the Ruach HaKodesh (רוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ) play in your life?

You have a low Christological view of who the Messiah is-who is He to you?

J.
He is many things J...but this has been on my mind of late....

"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star".

The reference is to Venus, the brightest of the stars, which often appears as the first light before dawn, signaling a new day. In the East, it shines beautifully at the transition between night and the first rays of light. This star, which mingles its light with the yet unseen sun, heralds the arrival of the day, as seen in both Revelation 2:28 and Numbers 24:17

Revelation 2:28: "I will also give that one the morning star."

Numbers 24:17: "I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel."

You don't know him Johann, even though I have tried many time to reveal him to you, you refuse to allow him in.

You also don't know his connection to Adam, David & Abraham, which is even more dissapointing for one who thinks he knows him.

@Wrangler @APAK God isn't a morning star - he makes the Morning Star!

Not long now!

Genesis 18:1-2
1 Then the LORD appeared to him by the terebinth trees of Mamre, as he was sitting in the tent door in the heat of the day.
2 So he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing by him; and when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed himself to the ground,
Genesis 18:1, 2 accurately reads: "Afterward, Jehovah appeared to him among the big trees of Mamʹre while he was sitting at the entrance of the tent during the hottest part of the day. He looked up and saw three men standing some distance from him. When he saw them, he ran from the entrance of the tent to meet them, and he bowed down to the ground."(2013 New World Translation)

Does this mean that Jehovah God literally appeared to Abraham ? Exodus 3:1-5 answers that question, explaining who really visited Abraham, saying: "Moses became a shepherd of the flock of his father-in-law Jethʹro, the priest of Midʹi·an. While he was leading the flock to the west side of the wilderness, he eventually came to the mountain of the true God, to Horʹeb."

"Then Jehovah’s angel appeared to him in a flame of fire in the midst of a thornbush. As he kept looking, he saw that the thornbush was on fire, and yet the thornbush was not consumed. So Moses said: “I will go over to inspect this unusual sight to see why the thornbush does not burn up.”

"When Jehovah (or Jehovah's materialized angel) saw that he went over to look, God called to him out of the thornbush and said: “Moses! Moses!” to which he said: “Here I am.” Then he said: “Do not come any nearer. Remove your sandals from your feet, because the place where you are standing is holy ground.”

At Numbers 20:14-16, Moses sent messengers to the King of Edom as the nation of Israel was about to reach the land of Canaan, saying: "This is what your brother Israel says, ‘You well know all the hardship that we have experienced."

"Our fathers went to Egypt, and we dwelled in Egypt many years, and the Egyptians mistreated us and our fathers. Finally we cried out to Jehovah, and he heard us and sent an angel and brought us out of Egypt, and here we are in Kaʹdesh, a city on the border of your territory."

So, who was it that spoke to Moses as Jehovah God ? An angel, who was Jehovah's chief spokesman, his "Word".(John 1:1, 2) At Judges 6, it says: "But the Israelites again did what was bad in the eyes of Jehovah, so Jehovah gave them into the hand of Midʹi·an for seven years......."

"Later Jehovah’s angel came and sat under the big tree that was in Ophʹrah, which belonged to Joʹash the Abi-ezʹrite. His son Gidʹe·on was beating out wheat in the winepress in order to hide it from Midʹi·an. Jehovah’s angel appeared to him and said: “Jehovah is with you, you mighty warrior.”

"At this Gidʹe·on said to him: “Pardon me, my lord, but if Jehovah is with us, why has all of this come upon us? Where are all his wonderful acts that our fathers related to us, saying, ‘Did Jehovah not bring us up out of Egypt?’ Now Jehovah has deserted us and given us into Midʹi·an’s hand.”

"Jehovah (or Jehovah's materialized angel) faced him and said: “Go with the strength you have, and you will save Israel out of Midʹi·an’s hand. Is it not I who send you ?” Gidʹe·on answered him: “Pardon me, Jehovah. How can I save Israel?"

"Look! My clan is the least in Ma·nasʹseh, and I am the most insignificant in my father’s house.” But Jehovah (or Jehovah's materialized angel) said to him: “Because I will be with you, you will strike down Midʹi·an as if they were one man.”(Judges 6:1, 11-16)

At 1 Corinthians 10:1-4, the apostle Paul identifies who this angel is, that visited Abraham, Moses and Gideon, saying: "Now I want you to know, brothers, that our forefathers were all under the cloud and all passed through the (Red) sea and all got baptized into Moses by means of the cloud and of the (Red) sea, and all ate the same spiritual food and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they used to drink from the spiritual rock (or angel) that followed them, and that rock meant the Christ (Jesus)."

Jesus Christ as Jehovah's angel, materialized and spoke to Jehovah's people, such as David at 2 Samuel 7 after having been told by Nathan the prophet that "Jehovah has told you that Jehovah will make a house for you. When your days (of life) come to an end and you are laid to rest with your forefathers, I will raise up your offspring after you, your own son, and I will firmly establish his kingdom."

The account now says that "King David came in and sat down before Jehovah (or Jehovah's materialized angel, later known as Jesus Christ) and said: “Who am I, O Sovereign Lord Jehovah? And what is my house that you have brought me this far? As if this were not enough, O Sovereign Lord Jehovah, you also speak about the house of your servant down to a distant future time; and this is instruction for all mankind, O Sovereign Lord Jehovah."(2 Sam 7:12, 13, 18, 19)

Sorry Guestman

The Rock symbolised the Lord Jesus and the Angel of the Lord was not Jesus!

Moses' act of striking the first rock in Exodus 17:5 symbolized Christ's flesh, which would be crucified. However, the second rock, which Moses was instructed to speak to, symbolized Christ’s resurrection, isolated from humanity like a crag. Moses' mistake foreshadowed the Jewish rejection of the risen Christ, as they persecuted His followers. Paul later warned of "crucifying Christ afresh," emphasizing that Moses' error reflected the nation's failure to recognize the true identity of the resurrected Christ.

The Jews repeated this error when they crucified Christ, as failing to honor the Son is failing to honor the Father (John 5:23)

In the age to come, the Jewish people will be compelled to acknowledge their actions, looking upon Yahweh, whom they pierced, and mourning deeply for His manifestation in His Son, the Rock. This will be a profound moment of remorse, likened to the mourning for an only son (Zech. 12:10)

The FATHER has Spoken thru His Son and the Apostles and His Chosen Disciples James and Jude.

The FINAL Message that was given to us from the FATHER comes thru the Lord Jesus Christ = Revelation

There is no other Speaking from God EXCEPT thru the Holy Spirit and the Holy Scriptures LIVING in those who belong to CHRIST.

i have to go now - Brother @Brakelite is sound in the Holy Scriptures as is @amigo de christo @Nancy @Lizbeth @Scott Downey
@Taken @Johann

Be BLESSED in the Love of God that is in CHRIST JESUS our LORD - AMEN and Good Night
Amen, you be blessed brother.

(And since you mentioned Revelation I just want to mention that Revelation is a kind of reiteration and summing up of everything in scripture that came before it. We need to see that book in light of all the earlier scrips, not the other way around. Much of what is written in Rev is already found in the earlier scriptures.)

Huh? No-one i have read of, heard, or spoken to has ever suggested that Jesus was born as a human in heaven prior to Bethlehem? Where do you get this stuff from? Your straw men are not very well built, they are like chaff in the wind.
The Father sent His Son into the world to become a human. That was an eternal sacrifice and massive demonstration of the love of both Father and Son to agree to such a step. See Philippians 2.
As to your continuing denial of such a possibility of a pre- incarnation Son of God, as if there is no evidence in scripture for such a concept , please note the following...

“For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. ”
2 Corinthians 8:9 KJV
Unfeigned Bible
When was Jesus ever rich as a human?

“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass. ”
Zechariah 9:9 KJV
Unfeigned Bible
“Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. ”
John 18:36 KJV
So Jesus was a king, even before the resurrection!! When did that happen??

“6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? 7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: 14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
If I'm reading the above correctly, and I believe i have excellent reading skills, the Son of God chose to partake of human flesh. He did this in order to be able to die.

15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
again, the Son chose to come as a human... He could have chosen to take on the likeness of an angel, but no, He humbled Himself and clothed His divine nature in human flesh. This is an eternal human state... a i said, a major sacrifice we cannot committeeman until we see Him and witness the glory He risked.

17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren,
same again... chose to become like unto His brethren.

that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. 18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. ”
Hebrews 2:6-7, 14-18 KJV

“8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. ”
Romans 5:8-11 KJV
Unfeigned Bible

“3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. ”
Romans 8:3-4 KJV
Unfeigned Bible

“5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. ”
Philippians 2:5-11 KJV
Unfeigned Bible

“1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. ”
1 John 4:1-3 KJV
Didn't go into the post except answering your astonishment and query in your opener. If you read my words again, I never said he had to be human to exist prior to being human, and then an immortal human later. Many believe he did exist before re-existing as a human being as God the divine son etc...not me. You read that into it.. and then he would have existed 3 times...not just twice....follow carefully..

And the other point I'm making here is that one cannot know of all or only part knowledge of a prior existence in another future existence in whatever being or nature they possessed before and later, of having the same or of a different nature....and you can only have one nature/spirit in each existence...follow on...

As I've already said and scripture bears me out. Jesus was created and existed for the 1st time in the 1st Century as a human being/spirit, and later, at his resurrection after his death of non-existence, he existed again as an immortal human nature/spirit. Now what is debatable is if Jesus now has full recollection of his prior existence, whilst on earth today or not....
I hope you can grasp all this then...
