It's Jesus that makes people right with Yahavah.

Some suggest that even going to church is what makes people right with God. As we find here in the post above, that is not true either.

I did not say that going to church makes you “right” with God. I am saying obeying the scriptures makes you right with God. That is not my opinion…..that is the Word of God.

But I do have an opinion…..Early Christians died in their attempt to assemble and worship God….I think it is sad that today you nearly have to use a cattle prod to get Christians to go to church…..Christians today definitely slipping away from their devotion to God. To much trouble to worship the Lord and fellowship with other Christians? Should Christ apologize for the inconvenience?

But you are not alone…..In fact there seems to be a lot of Christians on this forum that do not go to church…..maybe they should call it…. Christians that do not go to church forum.

Hello @Grailhunter,

That’s okay, I know that faith alone in Jesus Christ is what makes a person right with God. There are many people who suggest that “obeying the scriptures” is what makes people right with God. That’s not true either. I shared a section from Romans 5, which proves my point. Just because a person doesn’t go to church doesn’t mean they are not devoted to God. You’re entitled to your opinion, and that is fine to have sir.

Explain that to Christ....the scriptures are the Word of God.....the words of Christ.....the words of the Apostles....Why do you need a Bible?...come up with your own religion.

Hello @Grailhunter,

Hey, Im just pointing out what’s true and what’s not. Not many people like when the truth is brought up. It’s nothing personal. The Bible is the Bible.

You may have strong opinions and disagree, but like I stated before, as I shared the scripture concerning what makes a person right with God, is faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.

So the truth is..... that the scriptures do not matter.
But you are right Bible translations are not the Word of God, the actual scriptures are the Word of God.

So obeying Christ does not matter? You are going to have quite the conversaion with Christ on Judgment Day.

God knows what I do and don't do. He already knows these things about me, Ronald. It's no secret to Yahavah.
Yes He does, and if you are intentionally withholding yourself from assembling with the brethren as part of a local assembly, then you are a rogue Christian and not being obedient to Him.

I do not say this to condemn but to encourage you to get plugged in and see what God does with you life.

I don’t feel condemned about it @Ronald Nolette. There is no condemnation for those in Christ. Thank you for your encouragement.

Yes @Dan Clarkston. This topic though concerns “does the trinity make a person right with God.” The answer that has been found. No. It does not.

“And when God counted him as righteous, it wasn’t just for Abraham’s benefit. It was recorded for our benefit, too, assuring us that God will also count us as righteous if we believe in him, the one who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He was handed over to die because of our sins, and he was raised to life to make us right with God.”

There is no condemnation for those in Christ

That's not what God's Word says.... here's what it actually says:

Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,
who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Not being under condemnation does NOT apply to those that got born again and turned away from the Lord to live after the flesh... they are back under condemnation due to their following sin instead of the Lord Who leads nobody to do sinful behavior.

James 4:17
to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

Yes @Dan Clarkston. This topic though concerns “does the trinity make a person right with God.” The answer that has been found. No. It does not.

You are dodging the question... this forum forbids talking about the trinity

Have the rules been changed and discussion of the trinity is now allowed?

1 John 2:23
Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

It's not automatic that a person goes to hell just because they say they believe in Jesus only such as the united pentecostals denomination.

Ever see all the scriptures about the Father?
Ever see all the scriptures about the Jesus?
Ever see all the scriptures about the Holy Spirit?

1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Concerning the trinity... the Father, the Son, and the Spirit... are One!

Pretty hard to explain away something scripture clearly tells us which is... One is Three, and the Three are One.

In fact.... you and I are three that is one (we are a spirit, we possess a soul, and we live in a body)

1 Thessalonians 5:23
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

After all... the Lord did create man in His Own Image.

Genesis 1:26
God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness

That's the Father, the Word, and the Spirit saying "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness"

Hello @Dan Clarkston,

You are free to believe what you want sir. I’m not gonna argue or go back and forth with you.

I’ve done shared scripture which makes the case clear.

“And when God counted him as righteous, it wasn’t just for Abraham’s benefit. It was recorded for our benefit, too, assuring us that God will also count us as righteous if we believe in him, the one who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He was handed over to die because of our sins, and he was raised to life to make us right with God.

Do you believe this portion of scripture... is a lie?

1 John 5:7

While people may have a heart, for the trinity. That is all fine and good. I love all people, from Muslim to Mormonism. Everyone in this world must selectively decide within their heart, what they hold in their heart. If a person has a heart for the LORD, and seek after him, he can bless them by the spirit that lives with in them, and in their faith, while some may not know the Lord Jesus. They will found out whom he is in the after life. I believe in faith of the Lord Jesus, the Messiah whom makes people right with God through faith in his rising again. Some people state you must believe this or you must believe that, or they can even probe you on the internet. What do you believe, so I can correct you on it. None of these concerns matter to me. There are people who are concerned about people they don't know, if that is the case they should just simply pray to God about them, even people that may disagree, or agree with you. We are called to love all people, even people who may not agree with everything that we may think concerning things in the end, what will matter?

Did you have faith, and did you love, we find in Romans near the ending of Chapter 4, what Paul states concerning what makes us right with Yahavah, and what Yahavah does in the next Chapter. I love the bible, and believe and trust the scriptures within them, while I may not do everything like everyone else, or go in the way they desire me to go. My overall faith continues to reside in the Lord Jesus, and that gives me peace of mind, and that is something to be thankful for. Being free of man, and their religious bondage, and having liberty in the Lord Yeshua, nothing beats that, nor does anything beat the Lord Yeshua himself.

He makes us right with God. Not church doctrines, or anything else. Faith is where it all boils down too. Do you have faith in the resurrection of Jesus, when the holy spirit of God had raised him from the dead. While some may find him young in life, and some people find him later in life, Yahavah calls to all by the spirit, and by the bride.

There will always be people who encourage, or have concern, or bait you to do things. That doesn't mean you have to listen, the internet is riddle with all kinds of people with many different backgrounds that no one knows about. Therefore, think for oneself, don't ever trust me, and always seek after Yahavah, and may you be encouraged to look into the bible, read it and even study it for oneself, and if you ever lack wisdom ask God about it.
