You CANNOT be a CHRISTian unless you believe Jesus is God.
That is the very definition of Christian.

You might be a Witness or a Mormon or who knows what else..
but you are NOT a Christian person.

I'm saying that you should go study some church history.
Find out what was believed by the Apostles and all those that came after them.
Thomas exclaimed MY LORD AND MY GOD....
and Jesus did not correct him.

Those that came after ALSO believed Jesus was God.

So, tell us, why should we believe YOU when you state plainly that you don't believe in orthodox Christianity.
Believing in orthodox Christianity is WHAT MAKES YOU CHRISTIAN.

You don't get to make up your own rules.
The rules have already been established and by your own words you do NOT accept them.

So do Christianity a favor and stop calling yourself one.

In verse 22 of Matthew, he states that this is the fulfillment of the prophecy.

I think we should learn from Matthew.
I think he knew the OT and prophecy much better than we do.

Paul even shut this stuff down .
AND EVEN an angel in heaven shut it down
as JOHN tried to kneel before it , THE ANGEL said GET UP
WORSHIP GOD .
Rather odd that when THOMAS KNEELED BEFORE JESUS and said MY LORD and my GOD
JESUS DID NOT SUCH THINGS as did the apostles or even the angel . NOW DID HE .

Could you imagine Jesus letting Himself be called God when EVEN THE APOSTLES didn't want men kneeling down to them!

He had just resurrected from death.
Who can, by their own power, come back to life from the dead but God Himself !

If we only read out bible, we'd know the truth.
But we humans prefer to listen to men instead.

If we all just read the NT from Matthew to the end on our very own without having someone tell us

We'd know that God is a loving and merciful and just God.
We'd know that He loves all of His creation.

thats why i keep trying to get people back into the BIBLE for themselves
and stop listening to these men .
Too many have learned WHAT VERY LITTLE docrine they do know
through the lens of men . BUT if we just read it for ourselves TRUTH would be revealed
and Understanding would come in time .
THE KEY is , WHAT IS WRITTEN IS TRUE PEROID .
WHether we understand it or not , ITS TRUE . The thing is By grace
even on day one when i first began to read , I KNEW It was true
THOUGH as i read and read i did not yet understand some things .
STILLL I knew everything i was reading was true . IN time the understanding would come .
People often say and act like there are contradictions in the bible .
NO SIR . there is only lack of understanding . IN TIME the more one reads
they will learn that NOT ONLY did not one singel apostels doctrine ever contradict JESUS
THEIR DOCTRINE NEVER ONCE CONTRADICTED each others either .
YES . PAUL and james DID NOT CONTRADICT ONE the other . NONE of them did . IT was all lack of understanding .
but men who lacked understanding , men who desired knowledge for the wrong reasons , perhaps to exalt themselves ,
TWISTED STUFF . even many of the reformers often twisted things from LACK of understanding
or personal gain , honor and etc .
BUT IF WE JUST read it for ourselves , TRUSTING IN GOD , humble , HE WILL teach us in time . HE WILL .

You know how you have ONE SIDED teachings .
for example you have hyper grace twisting what paul said about Faith
then you have the other side , one sided , who tries to say NO james is right .

REMEMBER JAMES was talking about dead faith . faith without works IS DEAD .
DID paul ever once say this . YES HE DID .

He certainly was in one accord with the Father.......but also at the same time it goes deeper in meaning. We need to look at scripture in light of other scriptures. Because for example, Jesus also said elsewhere that if you have seen me you have seen the Father.

I’m led by the Spirit to understand scripture, I’m not led by you , to look at scripture in light of other scriptures you say......, hope you understand that “ you” are not my teacher, as much as you think that you are...” you aint”..

You're still a calvinist because you follow Calvin's teachings.
That's what a Calvinist is: Someone who follows the teachings of Calvin instead of the teachings of Jesus.

I follow the teachings of the Spirit..now , when you have a full understanding of what that means, we may then have a discussion.

At the moment , all I see from you is.following the Bible from your own understanding..I see NO Spirit talk in your posts whatsoever , you follow doctrine....there is no ‘ Spirit life” in any of your posts.,Alive in the Spirit...ask God to reveal to your heart what that means....in the meantime, seek God out with your heart..doctrine won’t help.not until you understand what seeking God out with your heart means....we know God deep within our heart...as it’s been “:supernaturally birthed”....I’ve even underlined and highlighted heart for you...praying it helps you understand, ok..

The truth is my friend, we must be Born Again to see the Kingdom Of God...not you must be Born Again to see the Kingdom Of John Calvin...you don’t understand my posts and that is perfectly understandable...your heart/ spirit needs very much to mature..and grow in the Spirit knowledge of who Christ is/ was..a remarkable man, who was God’s only Spirit Son, who was Born to the Virgin Mary.

He was the perfection of obedience/ and being in complete harmony with his Father’s will.

As Born Again..we are being taught by the Holy Spirit to be exactly that..we are under spiritual training so to speak...and will be until the day we die...being a Born Again was predestined by God...he knows those who will do his will, without hesitation...I’m one of his children...
