Faith comes before works..after faith works follow as we’re Born Again......this guy above....is work,work,work, for his salvation, he must be worn out,LOL.

I say faith and works, just as Scripture states, and just as Christianity taught until a few hundred years ago--you believe in a new version of Christianity that has no Scriptural or historical root.

Check out your posts to me...if you took posts what I posted personally, that’s on you...I never mentioned your name in any of them , I quoted about 2 or 3 three of your posts...show me where I accused you of anything?..or throwing “ turds” that makes me squirm just typing it, such a “ worldly” word..yuck!

So, what does it mean that women are the weaker vessel? It's actually a simple meaning. Vessel, throughout the New Testament, is often a reference to the physical body. In that case, it means that most women are not as physically strong as most men by virtue of their physical design
I do not agree that abiding in him has anything to do with salvation. Christ in you does because it's birth. You in him is not the same as he in you. You in him is walking in the spirit. Christ in you is being born again. The reason this is not known is because we believe the Catholic doctrine that it's all the same thing.
Scripture says the eternal life/Spirit is only located "in Christ" (1 Jn 5:11).
Those who abide in Christ by obeying Him are supplied with that (1 Jn 3:23,24).
Branches abiding in the Vine are supplied with its substance and bear fruit (Jn 15).
Those who do not abide do not receive the substance and do not bear fruit.
Those who do not bear fruit are cut off and dry up and are thrown in the fire.
To you, severance from Christ and being thrown in the fire is not a salvific issue.
I'm sure level-headed readers will see through your ignorance.

It is redundant to continually correct the brutish who lack "spiritual " understanding, refusing the knowledge and wisdom of God !
The word is plainly written for our understanding about the correct standards for discipleship.
The gift of God is salvation, and it is free, but discipleship is the continuity of abiding in the vine! In the end, there will be many that will say, " I wish I had......." done the many things they rejected to have continued in the vine; for they will hear, depart from me, you workers of iniquity!
Be not deceived, God is NOT mocked, for whatsoever one soweth that shall they also reap:

Yep, the one who does good works will, in due time, if they persist, REAP eternal life (Gal 6:6-10)!
The "doer of the law" will be REPAID eternal life (Ro 2:6-16)!

If I'm lucky, they respond to the OP, then, they quickly get debunked, then, since they have nothing left to say, they stand around lodging false accusations--consisting in, basically, "You don't agree with my view because you're unspiritual--nevermind that I can't defend my view using Scripture--if you were spiritual, you would agree with me!"--thinking that this false accusation and hatred is actually them being "spiritual".
So sad. Bankrupt, indefensible, ignorance.
Still, I am reminded of certain truths by the other side (as I've done over the years), being edified by their incomplete understandings and incorporating them into my own views.
True:
These have no depth but are shallow and it shows.
If one cannot expound upon the meaning of a truth in any given scripture, these are clouds without rain carried about by every wind of man's doctrine and not that of God !
They lack the fear of the Lord which is the beginning of wisdom. Proverbs 9:
10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
Wisdom is the finished product of knowledge and understanding.
The end result of these interactions show forth spiritual immaturity, lack of progression in the walk, ignorance of the truth & it's consequences! All that is left is ad hominems in trying to negate the truth!
I don't say that they don't know God.
We know God because He is merciful (Jer 31:34), not because we have perfect doctrine.
I do say that they don't speak accurately--and that they're not helpful to people who have genuine questions.
They hold to some of the Gospel truth, so God is with them.
SOME, I would say do not know God but a facsimile of whom they think God is, or worse what they think others want to hear from them !
One cannot be " in Christ", attached to the true vine and still have zero growth beyond the initial principle of salvation. These will be removed as dead branches, useless & fruitless except to be bundled & burned.
No, none of us receives nor sees perfectly the whole council of God bc we look through the glass darkly, inhibited by our flesh which works against the Spirit. However God will not leave us in darkness if we sincerely seek to walk in the Spirit!
Well, I will still say that they can know God even if they don't agree with me doctrinally--and I don't believe that people who disagree with me have to remain in sin, since I heard John Piper, who believes in OSAS, said that God gave him the grace to not even be attracted to a woman other than his wife since the time he was married. That's real grace!
Beside, it's better to focus on the Scriptures that are in dispute than to spend time describing opponents in a negative light, since that solves nothing and helps no one.
