From what I have been able to learn from talking with @Aunty Jane is that the Watchtower folks believe Jesus was around in some form in the Old Testament. I don't believe anything like that.

Sorry but Catholicism did not start the trinity or eternal souls and spirits. Eternal lake of fire torment, the pre-existence of Jesus and any other belief you hold contrary to the plain teaching of Scripture.
Every sect of "Christendom" have right doctrines and wrong doctrines. The RCC leads in the most wrong doctrines.
I thought about you today because you have asked me many times if I sin. You need to get off of me by not asking if I'm sinless. And ask if I'm sinless in Christ.

All of us who walk in christ will not sin. but you imply you are in christ 24/7 so that in you rlife you never sin again.
Stop sounding so mystic and deal with people on this level and not your cryuptic ways.
When I walk in christ I am incapable of sin, but alas like all other true believers, there are times I walk in the old man, though it has been declared dead by God. Just as you do.

Can you explain from the Bible why God permits this appalling and confusing situation?
The RCC did indeed embrace doctrines that came from outside of scripture….hence their declaration of rejecting “sola scriptura”…...teachings like the split nature of God, immortality of the soul, and hellfire…..none of these are of biblical origin. Protestantism merely retained what it wanted, and threw the rest away at the Reformation.….so all are equally adoptive of false teachings.
Why would God permit false teachings in a “Christian” church? History testifies to the fact that, if and when falsehoods crept in with his people, God would make sure to eradicate every one of them.…by means of his prophets he corrected their errors, and those who promoted them merited God’s punishment.
There can be no “right and wrong doctrines” in a church directed by God’s spirit……Jesus promised to be “with” his true disciples right up until “the end”. (Matt 28:18-20) Would Jesus turn a blind eye to false teachings? Why would he? He has “all authority” given to him by his Father.
That's probably why you think I can't be in the spirit from sun up till sun down because you can't which is probably because you think walking in him means doing the Word or some nonsense like that.

Yes their can. YOu are a member of Jehovah's Witness. And even a casual look at their history has shown they have taught many false doctrines over the life of their organization which began c. 1880.
