If they follow teaching that is blatantly against Scripture how could they possibly be a good source for accurate biblical interpretation? How do you know what to trust and what not to trust? And still, you have not given any biblical support for your position on marriage, the most you have given is that your pastors say its good to go and you go with them, even though they follow unbiblical teaching on gay marriage. Not exactly good ground here.

I have told you I am not a leader and will not ever be one. That does not preclude me from getting married. I don't want authority, don't need it. Don't want power, don't need it. It is simply who I am.

If it does, then perhaps Christianity and I aren't a good mix.

If being unwilling to follow biblical teaching leads you to say then perhaps you and Christianity aren't a good mix, one would wonder if you are Christian in the first place. Not saying you aren't, but that is treading on very dangerous ground my friend.

Then you affirm their teaching by association.

So be it.

I would advise you to look in the mirror and be sure that you aren't affirming anything by anyone that may be unbiblical as well before coming at me.

Perhaps it's a good thing that God knows me better than you do then, huh?

That has nothing to do with it. You have proclaimed in pubic that Scripture does not matter. Fidelity to Scripture does not matter. So I already know what God thinks because I know what His Word says.

No. What I proclaimed in public is that YOUR interpretation of scripture doesn't matter. I never said scripture doesn't matter.

So no. You really do not know what God thinks about me better than I do.

You are blinded. You affirm that Gay Marriage is unbiblical, this is good, yet you stay in a church that affirms gay marriage. So by association you are ok with gay marriage. So yes, you ignore Scripture and sit under unbiblical teaching.

Hardly blinded. As I said, God knows me better than you do and for that I am thankful.

I will reiterate you need to check yourself and see what you affirm by association before calling others out.

You may find that there will be times when you do need to lead her, even though that's not part of your personality. And there may be times when God would have her lead you. Choose wisely, and may God grant you the discernment necessary to know when to submit and when to lead.

May God bless your marriage.
True to dat :D

Very refreshing to see I am not the only one like that :)

There are some good, Gospel-preaching Episcopal churches... like Michael Youssef's church in Atlanta, Church of the Apostles. LINK
