Truth doesnt change. Faith/Belief of the Truth is resultive of the Sanctifying work of the Spirit 2 Thess 2:13

13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

And the Spirit Sanctified all for whom the Father chose in Christ and Christ died and redeemed.
I dunno
I dont roll that a way.
Bible says something= i need to incorporate it.
Maybe just show where they were wrong about believing before salvation, or cut that page out.

That we might be Married to Another !

As stated previously, the Death of Christ accomplished for all whom He died, no exceptions, that they are dead to the Law, but that for a purpose, that they should be Married to Another, That being the Lord Jesus Christ Rom 7:1-4

Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?

2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead[Jesus Christ], that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

In other words, if those Jesus Christ died for do not become Married experimentally to Christ, Him that was raised from the dead for their Justification [Rom 4:25] then the Purpose of God for His Death for them has badly misfired , failed to produce God's intended results !

But what is it that entails being Married to Christ ? It is to be betrothed to Him her Husband unto Faithfulness ! This is indicated here Hos 2:20

20 I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the Lord.

That word betroth means to espouse :

to marry. to give (a woman) in marriage !

But She is also caused to be Faithful in the Marriage, She is a Faithful Wife to Her Husband. The word faithfulness in Hos 2:20 'emuwnah means:

firmness, fidelity, steadfastness, steadiness

In fact the word is translated Faith here Hab 2:4

Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith

Yes, this means that Christ died for those , and severed their relationship to the Law [Rom 7:4], for the purpose of them living to Him by Faith or in Faithfulness !

The Just SHALL live by Faith or Faithfulness. That word Just as it is written in the NT as Per Rom 1:17

17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

This which is restating Hab 2:4 the greek word for Just is dikaios which is translated righteous here Rom 5:19

For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous or Just.

The Obedience of Christ, meaning His death, made the many He died for Righteous or Just, same greek word, and the promise to the Just is that they shall live by Faith or Faithfulness and so fulfill the prophecy of Hos 2:20

I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the Lord.

That is, they shall know as Jesus says here Jn 17:3

3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Folks, its impossible for one whom Christ died, its impossible for them not to come to Live by Faith, if that were so, the Purse of God in Christ's death for them has failed ! If you or i teach that one for whom Christ died dies in unbelief and their sins Jn 8:24, we teach that Christ's death was a failure and shall answer for that in the day of Judgment ! 26

That we should live unto Christ that died for Us !

2 Cor 5:15

15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

One of the unfailing Purposes of God in the Death of Christ, it is that all for whom He died [The Elect] shall henceforth not live unto themselves, but to Live unto Him which died for them, and rose again ! So the result of Christ's Death in the Purpose of God is to reverse the plight of God's People of what happened in adam here Isa 53:6

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

The Elect of God, His sheep went astray in adam and turned to living unto ourselves, are own way, but Christ's death puts an end to that by bringing us back to God 1 Pet 3:18

18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

Or that He might return us back to the Bishop of our souls 1 Pet 2:24-25

24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

25 For ye were as sheep going astray[went our own way, live unto ourselves]; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

The word returned is the greek word epestraphēte :

(a) trans: I turn (back) to (towards), (b) intrans: I turn (back) (to [towards]); I come to myself.

To cause to return, to bring back. Its actually what we saw in the prodigal son when we read Lk 15:17-18

17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

he is being returned passive and he is now active in it, conversion. The word epestraphēte also is in the aorist indicative passive, which means he is being returned, which can also be the middle voice because he is being made to cooperate actively, for man is active in his repentance once it is given by God !

Christ's death effects a conversion, return back to God, even God in Christ ! 26
No
The sinner is if his father the devil.
The prodigal BEGAN and ended with his father representing God.

He died for all, in order that ?

2 Cor 5:15

15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

The word That underlined above is the greek conjunction Hina and means:

that, in order that, so that,

hína (a subordinating conjunction) – for the purpose that (in order that), looking to the aim (intended result) of the verbal idea. 2443 /hína ("for the purpose that") is "the semantically marked (dramatic) way of expressing purpose in Greek (as compared for example to the plain infinitive)" (G. Archer).

And 2 Cor 5:15 is informing us of the Purpose, Intention, Aim and result God had in the Death of Christ regarding all for whom He died, His Elect.

One of the unfailing purposes of God in the Death of Christ, what He aimed at and must be the result of it, it is that all for whom He died, shall Live henceforth not unto themselves in the flesh [unregenerate], but instead to Live unto Him that died for them, and rose again !

So the consequences and effects of His death reverses what happened in adam in Isa 53:6

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Hence, that constitutes living unto ourselves, like what the prodigal son decided to do Lk 15:12-13

12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.

13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

he began living unto himself, However the death of Christ puts an end to that and will cause a change, and to begin to Live unto Him that died for us !

Now back in the text Paul refers to " they which Live " 2 Cor 5:15

15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

Exactly who are they ? They which Live are those who rose again from the dead with Christ, for He as their Head and Saviour Lives, so they must Live also, so they shall and must Live unto Him who is Both God and Man, they are that Seed which shall serve Him Ps 22:30

30 A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

Its that Seed He shall see Live Isa 53:10

10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

Now if anyone Christ died for, does not live unto Him that died for them and rose again, and stop living unto themselves, then Christ's Death failed to produce the result's that God intended. If anyone holds to a view that believes that one soul shall perish for whom Christ died, that is what you believe whether you agree with it or not, you believe that Christ's Death failed its God given Purpose, and that is Blasphemous thinking ! 26

It delivers and draws to Himself !

One of The scriptures most corrupted by false teachers is that which makes Christ death a Saving Success for all whom He died, it is written Jn 12:32

32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

Now heretics tell us that this Truth here is not Salvation and Conversion, but only a making of all people to have a chance at getting saved, if they use their freewill ! The Truth of the matter is this, Jesus is stating what will be the end results of all for whom He died, they shall be converted to Him ! The actual drawing here is evidence of their being delivered from the power of sin. The word draw helkó:

properly, induce (draw in), focusing on the attraction-power involved with the drawing.

metaphorically, to draw by inward power, lead, impel:

The inward power is the Spirit of God !

Now we have a scripture that states what the Christ death should accomplish Lk 1:74

74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,

The word here delivered is crucial, its the greek word rhuomai and actually means:

to draw to oneself, i.e. deliver ,rhýomai (from eryō, "draw to oneself") – properly, draw (pull) to oneself; to rescue ("snatch up"); to draw or rescue a person to and for the deliverer.

So what this means, the ones as a result of Christ being lifted up, who are drawn to Him, they are and have been delivered and rscued by Him, they are saved by Him, evidenced by them being drawed to Him. Does it not say " will draw " denotes certainty, its a promise !

Its a future indicative active. The indicative means :

The indicative mood is a statement of fact or an actual occurrence from the writer's or speaker's perspective. Even if the writer is lying, he may state the action as if it is a fact, and thus the verb would be in the indicative mood. It may be action occurring in past, present, or future time.

Also its in the future tense which means:

Just like the English future tense, the Greek future tells about an anticipated action or a certain happening that will occur at some time in the future.

Its certain says Christ, all for whom I am lifted up in behalf of shall be rescued, delivered and drawn to my self. The word draw also means to persuade, which is bring to belief !

God the Father desrves the Credit for giving Christ to deliver His People Col 1:12-13

12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

That word delivered is the same word used in Lk 1:74

74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,

The end result of Christ's redeeming death is serve God without fear !26

Dan 9:24 !

Dan 9:24

24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

Though this scripture is little known and understood by false religion, yet we have here things that Christ's Death alone accomplished for those He died for. These things were not merely made possible or contingent, but actual and factual accomplishments for all whom He died, God's chosen people.

By His death, alone, He finished Transgression ! What Transgression ? The Transgressions of His People laid upon Him Isa 53:5

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

As typified by the Type He carries them away Lev 16:21

And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:

Ps 103:12

As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

This probably also alluded to Christ's saying here Jn 19:30

30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

By satisfying God's Law and Justice for His People, He finished Transgression by restraining, putting the breaks on the condemning power of sin unto them whose sins Christ bare ! 26

So you disagree with the post points ! Thats not good friend. Christ death converts to God them He died for. 2 Cor 5:14
That is part correct.
It is the risen savior that does the heart change at conversion.
He ain't on the cross anymore.

Why would God create unthinking robots with no free will?

What is it those type people would need to endure if they are so guaranteed salvation that they need not even think for themselves?

And if God were going to create those type of people, who would inherit salvation no matter what, then what would be the purpose of the Bible at all, or any concept of salvation or sacrifices, or any of it?

What are they being saved from?

ETA: That's not a reality at all, it's a virtual reality with no real consequences for anything.

Is this really what you think some Christians believe about the creation of mankind? Surely none professing to be in Christ would deny that mankind was created with free will? Did not God give man a choice in the garden? And did man without any coercion from God of their own free will choose to heed the voice of the serpent, and disobey God? What does God mean when He says the sin man committed then brought both sin and death through sin into His creation? How does mankind now being spiritually "dead in trespasses and sins" without the Lord affect man's free will?

If God had not created mankind with the ability to freely choose to obey Him, then mankind would most assuredly have been created as Robots and not humans with body and spirit called living souls. Think about the alternative. Thing is that God had ordained in heaven from before the foundation of the world, a way for mankind to be saved, knowing mankind would fall through temptation and become spiritually dead in trespasses and sins. That way is Christ as a Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Knowing that mankind that He created in His likeness and image "very good" would not freely choose God to live forever. Knowing they would fall, God had already ordained a way for man to have eternal life through the Lamb slain, IF they would turn to Him with repentance believing. And even the ability for fallen mankind to have faith that saves comes as a free gift from God, who has ordained from the foundation of the world all who shall be eternally saved in Christ.

Dan 9:24 ! 2

Christ's death for His People, the Elect of God made an end of sins !

24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

The sins of those Christ died for have forever been taken away from the view of God's Law and Justice, They have been taken away Jn 1:29

29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

They have been far removed Ps 103:12

12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

They will never be found against them Jer 50:20

20 In those days, and in that time, saith the Lord, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found: for I will pardon them whom I reserve.

By Himself He purged our sins if He died for us Heb 1:3

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

That word purged katharismos:

C.a cleansing from the guilt of sins wrought by the expiatory sacrifice of Christ

He made an end of the guilt of our sins, those whom He had the guilt of them charged to Him on their behalf !

Listen no sin or sins can ever be charged against them before the court of God's Law and Justice Ps 32:1-2

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

2 Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

Thats just how complete and thoroughly His One sacrifice put away and made an end of sins for His People ! 26

Dan 9:24 ! 3

Next, The Death of Christ accomplished a making of reconciliation for iniquity ! Dan 9:24

24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

The word reconciliation kaphar :

I.to cover, purge, make an atonement, make reconciliation, cover over with pitch
A.
(Qal) to coat or cover with pitch

B.
(Piel)
i.
to cover over, pacify, propitiate

ii.
to cover over, atone for sin, make atonement for

iii.
to cover over, atone for sin and persons by legal rites

C.
(Pual)
i.
to be covered over

ii.
to make atonement for

Its an word meaning atonement, to purge away sin ! The Book of Hebrews 1:3

3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

That word purged katharismos:

C.a cleansing from the guilt of sins wrought by the expiatory sacrifice of Christ

Again purge Ps 65:3

Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away.

Also Heb 2:17 is from This Prophesied "and to make reconciliation for iniquity" from Dan 9:24, and it reads Heb 2:17

17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

This also shows us that Christ's First coming fulfills Dan 9:24, its all about what His death should and would accomplish for the sins of the People

Because Christ effected Reconciliation for the sins of the People, they are reconciled to God even when they are enemies in themselves Rom 5:10

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 26

Dan 9:24 ! 4

Another accomplishment of the death of Christ seen out of Dan 9:24

24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

To bring in everlasting Righteousness !

This of course is the Righteousness of Christ 1 Cor 1:30

30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

All for whom had their sins imputed to Him, in turn had His Righteousness made over to them 2 Cor 5:21

21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

This is what is revealed to the People of God in the Gospel of their Salvation Rom 1:16-17

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

17 For therein[The Gospel] is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Yes this is that everlasting Righteousness brought forth. George Whitfield said of this Everlasting Righteousness :

1. What we are to understand by the word "righteousness." Some would say "moral honesty," doing justice between man and man. It likewise signifies inward holiness, wrought in us by the Spirit of God. I think the word here used means "imputed righteousness." When Christ's righteousness is spoken of, we are to understand Christ's obedience and death; all that Christ has done and suffered for an elect world — for all that will believe on Him. It might be called a blessed righteousness, a glorious righteousness, an invaluable righteousness; the angel here calls it an "everlasting righteousness."

2. On what account is it called an "everlasting righteousness"?

(1) Because it was intended by God to extend to mankind even from eternity. From all the ages of eternity God had thoughts of us.

(2) Because the efficacy of Christ's death took place immediately upon Adam's fall. Christianity in one sense is as old as the creation.

(3) Because the efficacy of it is to continue till time shall be no more.

(4) Because the benefit of it is to endure to everlasting life. Those whom God justifies, them He also glorifies.

3. What are we to understand by Christ's bringing this righteousness in?

(1) Our Lord's promulgating and proclaiming it to the world. It was brought in under the law, but then under types and shadows, Jesus Christ brought life and immortality to light by the gospel.

(2) Jesus brought in this righteousness, as He wrought it out for sinners upon the cross.

(3) The expression also implies Christ's bringing it, by His blessed Spirit, into poor believers' hearts. "An unapplied Christ is no Christ at all." Are there any here that can go along with me on this doctrine?

( G. Whitefield, A.M.)

All for whom Christ died are made Righteous Rom 5:19

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

And sooner or later in this Life God sends them the Gospel to reveal that Everlasting Righteousness they have imputed to their account for the Sake of Christ having been made sin for them 2 Cor 5:21 !

He saves sinners out of sin and unbelief !

1 Tim 1:15

15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

But also remember that their are particular sinners That have Salvation in this Christ Jesus 2 Tim 2:10

10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

So He came to save Elect sinners from their sins, and from out of Unbelief !

See, the Elect[by nature] are lost and imprisoned in Unbelief Per 11:32

32 For God hath concluded them all[all the election of grace from the jew and Gentiles] in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

Now this Christ must save them from if He is their Saviour from sin and its consequences, which is unbelief !

Now there are some if not many in false religion who teach erroneously and culpably that Christ Jesus does not save unbelievers, but that is the most preposterous thing an evil heart of unbelief can think of, for if that was True, no one could be saved from their sins, for as a consequence of sin, all men are imprisoned in unbelief, for it is part of being experimetally lost !

Now the Testimony of the Apostle Paul refutes this devilish lie without a doubt, in that Christ came and saved him out of unbelief.

Its recorded to be a pattern, Remember how he persecuted the Flock of God, and was a Blasphemer ? Paul testifies that he did it in unbelief 1 Tim 1:13

13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

That was the sin that so easily beset him ! Yet God showed him mercy Rom 11:32 in unbelief and he was converted in the height of his unbelief and rampage into a believer and a Apostle 1 Tim 1:13-14

13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

Notice how that by Grace Faith was given him to deliver him from unbelief, So his testimony in light of his conversion out of unbelief and hate for Christ Jesus is this 1 Tim 1:15

15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners[out of unbelief and ignorance]; of whom I am chief.

16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

To obtain mercy means to be converted from unbelief that we may hereafter believe on Him to Life everlasting. Sinners here in Vs 15 is synonymous with unbelief in Vs 13, which proves that Christ saves unbelievers, else they would have never believed ! 27
