[9] Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

By the Power of God, NEVER AGAIN can a man (born of God) SIN (disbelieve) Against the Lord God Almighty.

Men Tresspass Against men? Absolutely.
Men forgiven men of Trespasses? Yes.

Men forgiven men of SIN? No.
Sin is Against God, (for disbelief), and ONLY God can forgive SIN.

(Unless you are of a Tribe of Israel, and remain Under the Law...SINS are determined according to the LAW)

IF you are UNDER GRACE, SIN is Disbelief in the Lord God Almighty.

Salvation and Quickening is A GIFT to Those who Confess HEARTFUL Belief.

THE PROCESS...
For a Beginner...is HEARING, receiving Enlightenment...(believing, wondering, doubting, denying, wavering).
He who continues HEARING, continues receiving measures of FAITH, ( A gift from God...FOR HEARING ).

A man who REJECTS and STOPS HEARING has fallen from faith.

He who continues HEARING, is being prepared to CONFESS heartful belief...
And he who DOES Confess heartful belief, BECOMES FORGIVEN,
BECOMES soul SAVED,
BECOMES spirit QUICKENED.
Converted...
PERIOD....DONE DEAL...once and forever.

THE NEXT PROCESS for such a Converted man....WHICH IS LIFE LONG...
IS that MAN....HIS JOB....
IS TO MAKE HIS "carnal minds thoughts"...
SUBSERVANT TO "his NEW spirits thoughts".

A man "KEEPING" his Salvation the Lord has Gifted him...
AND
A man "KEEPING" his Born Again spirit the Lord has Gifted him...

IS KEPT BY THE INDWELLING POWER / SPIRIT OF GOD, in that converted man.

Doing Works to KEEP your salvation, Trying really hard, continuing to sin, repeatedly asking for Forgiveness for sins one claims to Commit... IS ALL hogwash, FOR A Converted man.

And that last part is where yo ALWAYS fall off the tracks . . .

It's not about "trying really hard" or doing works to "keep" your salvation.
If you surrender to Christ, ther you STRIVE to not sin, although you will stumble sometimes because of your fallen nature.
When you DO stumble - you pray for forgiveness - you don't simply assume you're "okay" and forget about it (James 5:16).

And the "Works" we do as Christians were prepared FOR us in advance (Eph. 2:10), so we can't take credit for those.
However, they ARE an essential element of our faith because they exemplify our obedience and cooperation with God.
