This document was purported to be sure evidence that have the Papacy carte blanche in taking over lands and property formerly under Roman jurisdiction. And this they did, using the document as a legally binding instrument that resulted in papal lands being stolen by the church from whomsoever they chose. By this the church became a huge landowner, and by the time the "donation" was "discovered" as fraudulent 800 years or so later, it was too late. Anyway, to the discussion in hand.
In that document is a title that many popes adopted and used as an official title, thus justifying much evil. That title was in the beast's own language... Latin.
That title was one that was applied solely and only to the bishop of Rome, the Pope.
And that title is one that perfectly reflects the meaning of "Antichrist"... Instead of, or I'm the room of, Christ. That title in Latin is Vicarius Filii Dei, meaning vicar of the Son of God. Some Latin letters have a numerical value. The point is time is over for those with the mark. Redemption was taken away when the mark was placed. There is no return from this ultimate rejection of God's Atonement.

Revelation 10, states time is no more. Time of Redemption is over. It is chop your head off, or take the mark. No middle ground, period!

One could say Adam already sold his soul to Satan in the Garden of Eden. Adam is the man whose number is 666. All of mankind fall under that number 666. The expiration mark is 666. Once it is literally applied to the merchandise, ie humanity it is over, and time is up. No man has outdone Adam in being the dominant 666 title holder.

The mark of the beast is to walk this earth in the flesh, toiling every day without rest, suffering all the plagues of the earth, until the day of awakening. To live in the flesh is to live as a beast, and be spiritually branded as a beast.
