This of course has been viewed or interpreted differently than what I have outlined, so it is not unlikely that you would comment on it.

However, as I explained, much like the use of "therefore" etc. in scripture, verse 23 is the "but" (or therefore) of that passage, clarifying the whole matter. By definition, "every man" is used in singular, and confirmed in "his own" (also singular), as opposed to the matter referring to a group or mass, one time event. Because of this, some translations even state it as each "one" in his own order.

Many other passages also confirm the timing of Christ's return as individual and in one's own order or time, such as: the thief on the cross being told by Jesus "today you will be with Me in Paradise" and "behold, I stand (present tense) at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me"--just to name a few.

Much of what has been taught, is to be corrected.
Oh, yes, you are the Chosen One to correct everyone else. Get out of here with your nonsense. That verse you referenced is not referring to the thief's bodily resurrection. It's referring to his soul and spirit going to paradise. I take it you believe in soul sleep? That would explain a lot.

The dead in Christ will all be resurrected bodily at the same time at Christ's second coming when the last trumpet sounds. You have to be completely lacking in discernment to not understand that simple truth.

Your emotion is showing. Understandable after all this time.

Nonetheless, it is as I have explained--not because I say so, or because I would presume to correct you--I do not. But because such errors, corrections, and the clarification according to all truth, was to come--not by flesh and blood, but by our Father in heaven. And so they have.

LOL. Yes, I get a bit emotional when people like you act like only they understand the truth and have to correct literally everyone else. Paul was very clear that the dead in Christ will be resurrected at Jesus's second coming and He does not come individually for each person as you falsely teach. He is coming in the future and all of the dead in Christ will be resurrected at that time and be caught up to Him in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:14-17). Do you deny the future visible, bodily second coming of Jesus Christ?

I didn't claim anything of my own, but simply pointed out the error in translation according to its original meaning--adding or taking away nothing. I could have declared it, but chose to be kind, allowing you to reason for yourself--not as what I have said, but what God has said, and is now written. But you are not listening, not wanting to see what has been there all along--centuries before I pointed it out--preferring to cling to "your own understanding."

If you don't want a helper, none will be given.

The silly arguments here by some just goes to show that God's Word 'as written' just isn't popular, so when God's Word is actually revealed 'as written', the devils start coming out of the woodwork they hate it so much.
