Exactly What Is The Great Tribulation? A Biblical Prespective

The purpose of the Great Tribulation is against the Saints to try/test them. Those who endure to the end shall be saved. Those who succumb to apostasy, false prophets, disobedience and lawlessness, will fall away in time of trial. It is because many of them are those who were never really regenerated in the first place! Tribulation was always in the world for the Church since the Cross but is nothing for the saints to fear, and in fact God said it was normative in their lives!

John 16:33

"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

So much for the so-called 7-year pre-tribulation rapture theorists that God doesn't want us to go through tribulations. Like everything else, we can believe those teachers manipulating the Word, or we can believe the Word itself. But not both! Because nowhere does God say the Saints are not supposed to go through the great tribulation. This is a lie. God clearly upholds us in little tribulations and in the great tribulations. We overcome tribulation in the world (not removed from it) specifically because we have the Spirit of Christ, who has overcome the world for us. There is nothing that can separate us from this love or benevolence of God. In point of fact, in times of great tribulation and persecution for the sake of Christ, Godly men trust in God's great love that is in their hearts by the blessed Spirit. It not only encourages us and prepares us for trials and tribulations, but it also is our patience and support under them. What have we to fear of men?

As it is written:

Romans 5:2-5

"By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us."

No, rather than the body of Christ being taken out of the world before the tribulation, it is the trial of our faith. The Elect will endure in time of trial to the end, but the pseudo Christians without the Spirit shall fall by the wayside. The two witnesses are not taken away from the Beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit, they are killed by it! Learn what that means and you'll understand how great tribulation ushers in the second coming.

Revelation 14:12

"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."

Even in time of great tribulations. You see, they are the ones in tribulation, being killed, persecuted, being hated, being reviled for His name sake. This idea of the saints missing the Great tribulation is a convoluted theory invented by men to force Scripture to conform to their own carnal ideas of the world. That is why the pre-tribulation rapture is a popular false doctrine!

The great tribulation of the saints started the day Stephen was killed and is still happing today

Revelation 7

The Great Multitude in White Robes

9 After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. "there shall be a time of tribulation, such tribulation as has not been from the time that there was a nation on the earth until that time"

The great tribulation takes place after the king of the south attacks the king of the norths armed forces in Israel.It ends with the king of the norths armed forces using the abomination of desolation (nukes)to destroy everything from Iran to Egypt.
One such abomination that causes desolation will be set up in Jerusalem after Israels enemies have captured it.

This nuclear war is Israel's policy of mass retaliation with nuclear weapons against nations that have invaded and captured much of Israel.It is called the Samson option

Like I said,it begins after the king of the south attacks and overcomes the king of the norths armed forces protecting Israel.

Daniel 11:40-12:2
40 “At the time of the end the king of the South will engage him in battle, and the king of the North will storm out against him with chariots and cavalry and a great fleet of ships. He will invade many countries and sweep through them like a flood.
41 He will also invade the Beautiful Land. Many countries will fall, but Edom, Moab and the leaders of Ammon will be delivered from his hand.

The "time of the Gentiles' "saints" are the currently born again, who wont be in the Trib. or Grt Trib.. so, no "testing" is found.

Now... if you are saved, during the Trib or Grt Trib, then you certainly have a test on your hands, as the Anti Christ is going to try to kill you, and, you will have to "endure to the end (of the Tribulation) "... if you want to go to heaven., as Jesus explained in Matt.

The smart person, will trust in Christ "in the time of the Gentiles'.. here in these end times, and miss that Tribulation.

But if not, and you end up in it, then dont take the mark of the Beast.. and do trust in Christ, and get your works together, as "The Grace of God" as the Gospel of the Grace of God" wont be available.
And be prepared to be a Martyr...

So, if all that is not what you want to go through, then Trust in Christ today.,. as "now is the day of Salvation.. NOW is the accepted time"..and God will save you.. and you wont have to face what is coming to this world... so....very... soon.
You'll be RAPTURED instead and you wont be here.

This is the time of the great tribulation.

12:1-2
And at that time Michael the great prince shall stand up, that stands over the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of tribulation, such tribulation as has not been from the time that there was a nation on the earth until that time: at that time thy people shall be delivered, even every one that is written in the book.
And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproach and everlasting shame.

The saints in Israel are tried for 42 months prior to the great tribulation in Daniel 12:1
They are tried after the king of the norths armed forces(second beast of revelation 13) arrives in Israel in Daniel 11:31.

Daniel 11:33-35
“Wise leaders will give instruction to many, but these teachers will die by fire and sword, or they will be jailed and robbed.
During these persecutions, little help will arrive, and many who join them will not be sincere.
And some of the wise will fall victim to persecution. In this way, they will be refined and cleansed and made pure until the time of the end, for the appointed time is still to come.

The Church went forth to the ends of the world since Pentecost with the power of the Holy Spirit. And they have experienced tribulation and trails ever since, even today. Every read the Foxe's Book of Martyrs?
