So, you deny that Jesus was quoting Psalm 22?
You aren’t understanding the death of Jesus imo.

He died a human death..he wasn’t God on that cross.....you are a trinitarian..I’m not...and so far imo, The trinity either way can’t be proven.

Psalms 22:1

1 My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from my cries of anguish?
Of course there are other interpretations.
Two of them say that God will turn His back on us, and one says he will never leave or forsake us. (Deuteronomy 31:6)

We don’t need to recite scripture to know that God will never turn his back on his children...if our spirit is Born Again...

Was Jesus NOT born again?

[
Prove using scripture that Jesus was Born Again?

Also tell me what it means?

How would I know that I’m Born Again @St. SteVen ?
And it’s certainly not by quoting scripture..

Short commentary.

Jesus was not “born again.”He was resurrected. That means he died and his spirit separated from his body. Then the spirit and body came together again in their perfect and immortal form, never to die or to be separated again.

Seriously?
What was he in when he walked away from His own tomb?
Were you there when he walked away from his tomb?

You voice your opinion, interpretation, same as everyone else...no more valid either than anyone else’s...that’s all we’re doing....” voicing”...

Where does it say that we are made in their image or that they are made in God’s image?
The fact that they can appear as men does nothing for your claim
Not really. Sometimes, things are as they appear.

That angels ONLY appear to us looking like us is good prima facia evidence that were made made in the same image. Compare to the contrary. Imagine if Scripture ONLY reveals angels appearing to look like things other than man. What would you say then?

Nursing his bruised ego?
I think some think that when Jesus was raised. He had the same human body that died?

Yet he did say to his disciples this below.i can’t get my head around this @Wrangler ?

Luke 24:36-48

New International Version

Jesus Appears to the Disciples

36 While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
37 They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost.38 He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? 39 Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”

That's no good logic, Jesus was many things, He indeed came to serve but He also said - I and the Father are one. Both are true.
The significance of the expression "are one" is extreme eisegesis for it exists today with the same meaning, on the same page. It never meant a multi-person being.

Everyone is many things, including Jesus. However, what is NOT is he is NOT God. The proof text is the word "OF" in relationship with God. He is a servant of God and that is how you know he is not God. It's very simple and obvious.

It was amusing how you portrayed the created angels as being made in a non-God image, yet appearing as men in God's image.

If you don't understand, feel free to move on.

F2F
I didn't portray them as anything I asked for scripture to back up your claim.
Man was created in God's image.
Where in the Bible does it say man was created in the image of Angels?

Surprise me mate, break down John 1.1 for me.

J.
Late response, better late than never...

'Break down' is the word and process you use to understand scripture and its context, to understand one verse of say 18 verses? Not for me until I know at least the local context.

Well I would first examine the prologue at least to get the general understanding of the language and the message of John. A general view to a specific view if you will.

And even then I would examine the places in scripture where the words of the 1st verse are used. Like the word logos, like the word theos, etc.

I believe you dispense with such inquiry and 1st open up your creeds and set doctrines as your reference and translation of these words....it can be a fools errand, another waste of time.

So I will not 'break down' this verse, as it is not the best way to understand it initially. There's much more work to do first.

Have a little patience....

I think some think that when Jesus was raised. He had the same human body that died?
The tomb was empty. Where did his physical body go?
He cooked fish for his disciples and ate it with them.
He invited Thomas to put his hands in his wounds. Same body?

John 20:27 NIV
Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands.
Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

I am not going to continue with this, you’re another one who questions, yet never answered my question.

With respect, your posts make no sense to me and I’m sure mine don’t make sense to you...therefore I’m not going to sit here and bat back and forth, when neither one of us understands the other...thanks.
How would I know I’m Born Again?..you never answered that question...nothing wrong in admitting that you don’t understand...I didn’t understand baptised in the Spirit....

Were you there when he walked away from his tomb?
So now you doubt the bodily resurrection?

1 Corinthians 15:13-15 NIV
If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised.
14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.
15 More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God,
for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead.
But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised.
