There is no doubt that in the New Testament Christian baptism is very closely connected to salvation. But it not a pre-condition for salvation (see Acts 10). Paul was saved when he met Christ.

However it is the "calling on the name of the Lord" which saves (see Romans 10), and results in the washing away (or remission) of sins. Indeed repentance is a pre-condition for the remission of sins, and calling upon the name of the Lord is tied to that. So in the above verse we have all of that, although not spelled out, but implied.

You and everybody else have a problem with Acts 10. You say Cornelius received the Spirit therefore we know he was saved. But just 2 chapters earlier we see people believing (which is your requirement for salvation) and being baptized (which is the Christ’s requirement for salvation). But, THEY DID NOT RECEIVE THE SPIRIT. your doctrine is a complete contradiction. Paul said....God is not the author of confusion but that’s all you have is confusion.
Prove to me Paul was saved at the point he met Christ. The Bible says his sins were not removed until 3 days later. Please explain to us all how he could be saved on the road while still in his sins. Don’t try to spin this, you’ll just get dizzy.

So you don’t believe repentance is necessary as a condition for Salvation? If you will keep reading a proper translation on this passage you will find that he explains it...

On the road to Damascus He met Jesus face to face as a burst of light, fell on the ground and was struck blind for 3 days. I'd say Saul was convicted and convinced & received the Holy Spirit, when Jesus introduced Himself!!!

“I’d say”? Why can’t you say....the Bible says....Saul received the HS on the road. You know why? Because IT DOESNT.

You are now applying a passage out of context. Peter DID NOT have Saul in mind when he made this statement. If he did then prove it.

Right. Enoch has Saul calling Christ “lord” as in “lord” of my life, at the same time he was asking...who are you? It was only AFTER this question that we see Christ introducing himself...I am Jesus.
