I have yet to see any Scripture proclaim what Amil post. All of Scripture that Amil provide is either not about the 1,000 year reign, or is misappropriated by Amil.
Even 1 Corinthians 15:23-26 teaches a Millennium.
"But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits (The OT at the Cross) ; (the here and now) afterward they that are Christ's (the NT church) at his coming. (The Millennium) Then cometh the end (Revelation 20:7), when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. (the 1,000 years on earth) The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death."
The complaint is that it is just their opinion over my opinion. Jesus puts down all of Adam's authority and power at the Second Coming, but all is not subjected until after the Millennium. While it may not take 1,000 years, that is the length John gave. Paul did not think that the fulness of the Gentiles would take 2,000 years, but here we are still going strong after 1992 years. We did not need those 2,000 years to cover the earth. That happened in Paul's day. Paul was expecting the end at any moment. Paul was not prophesying the time frames. Paul did not need to. Those time frames are still legitimate periods of time.
