So he's symbolically gagged so he can't deceive the nations? With what, toilette paper? Bound with symbolic chains in the symbolic Abyss? And 1000 years symbolically means just a long time _ that we are already experiencing.

If Satan is not currently bound, how are Gentiles from among every nation of the world not being deceived by him, but are instead completing the Kingdom of God as they hear the Gospel proclaimed and by grace through faith born again? The FACT that Gentiles are being taken out of darkness and fear of bondage to death is positive proof they are no longer being deceived by Satan, and that is the purpose for which Christ bound him.

Acts 13:46 (KJV) Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Acts 21:25 (KJV) As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.

Before being bound Satan had power to hold people in darkness and fear of bondage to death. By His cross Christ defeated death and sent His Gospel unto the Gentile nations who had never before heard of the Messiah who was to come and redeem them from sin and death. So it was by His sinless life, His crucifixion and resurrection from the dead that by defeating Satan bound him by taking away his power to keep those who would hear the Gospel and believe in bondage to fear of death.

When Christ was born a man, Satan had the power to take away the Word sown in the hearts of those who heard of Christ but without understanding. That power to take away the Word of the kingdom, and Satan's power to hold man in fear of bondage to death were broken by Christ, and it is the removal of Satan's ability to keep the Word from penetrating the heart and to keep people in bondage to fear of death that binds Satan. Not with physical pit, or chains, but by the power of Christ giving His life and defeating death for His people. That is how this spiritual evil is bound. How else, but by the power of a Spirit of greater power could a spiritual evil being be bound? Spiritual beings cannot be defeated using physical means!

Matthew 13:19 (KJV) When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

Hebrews 2:14-15 (KJV) Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Ron You can deny the clear scriptural truth below all you want, "Deceive The Nations" is gathering the Nations to battle, "The Deception" is Devils going forth to the Kings of the earth

There is a war for souls and as the elect are drawn to God and given the gospel, Satan is actively and desperately trying to detour, deceive and discourage them. This is why we need prayers for the unsaved to thwart Satan's efforts and to losen and break his blindings.
Like in the Parable of the Sower of Seed, the seed falls on rocky soil and Satan scoops them up. Seed in shallow soil does not take deep root, and of course it is the individual who needs to be responsible to water that seed, (be nourished by the WORD).. When trials come, they qet scooped up as well (what little faith thwy have fails).. The elect in the Book of Life are predestined to be saved. God has ordained their time and place.

The Gospel did not go out because Satan was bound. It went out because the Holy Spirit was sent to cause it to go out into all the earth. Satan did not need to be loosed nor bound. Satan was not even relevant to the Holy Spirit being sent.

Now humans themselves can be a block against the Holy Spirit. Humans can deceive themselves. Humans can reject the Holy Spirit all on their own.

Saying Satan is bound is a separate issue in and of itself. Satan can attack believers as a roaring lion. Satan does not deceive those already bound and enslaved to sin. Satan works on the church to cause the church to become apostate. So, no. Satan is not, nor has been bound for a thousand years, much less a symbolic period of time of thousands of years.

The fact that Satan can be bound by Jesus is directly related to Jesus being present on earth. Satan has no effect on the person of Jesus Christ. It is the church that has to be constantly on guard against Satan.

Yes, they WILL be born, live, laugh, cry, be hungry, laboriously raise animals and crops for food, marry, build homes, reproduce offspring, have blessings of rain and sunshine, barter, trade, teach their children crafts and trades of how to rightly care and provide for themselves and things in their charge.
And yes, some will get sick, and seek plant remedies, some will grow old and die and be buried. ......THEY ARE MORTALS....what mortals do is not a mystery....they are born, they live, they labor, they eat, they sleep, they marry, they reproduce, they laugh, they cry, they are happy, they are disappointed, they grow old, THEY DIE.

Great death and destruction is AGAIN going to come upon this EARTH.
