The pretenders are a modern people who attempt to show themselves as informed by asking stupid questions like "Do you know who the Medes are?

The prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah called them by their names during their times even though their prophecies were of end times.
You don't even know who Babylon is so you support the evil Iranian regime against Israel, putting lies for truth and darkness for light, evil for good and good for evil.
You believe you are informed, yet your foolishness and ignorance shows in almost every post you make.
Babylon is not Israel.

As I said,I've been watching the prophecy of the king of Babylon smiting Palestinia with his rod being fulfilled for a while now.
You can't be taken seriously. Asking someone a general knowledge question after implying that Israel is Babylon.
You do not know who Babylon is. It may be the Medes and Persians but I doubt it - too many Christians in that nation who hate the regime.
It could be out of Turkey.
But unlike you I do not believe my speculation or any "could be's".

It's not the day of Lord yet.
Babylon is not Israel.

In Isaiah the Babylon he was talking about was the ancient Babylon and the attack he was talking about was the attack on Babylon by the Medes and the Persians.
But in your human "wisdom" you have turned that into Iran getting into a time machine somewhere in Russia (I dunno - your imagination knows no bounds) and attacking Babylon in the 6th century BC and delivering Israel then getting back into a time machine and coming back to 2024 to attack Israel so you call Jerusalem Babylon.

The prophet knows. But my previous reply to you proved that you don't believe the prophet - instead you believe what your own human imagination interprets the prophet to have been talking about.
In Isaiah the Babylon Isaiah was talking about was the ancient Babylon and the attack he was talking about was the attack on Babylon by the Medes and the Persians.

Isaiah clearly had to make sure your imagination works.

The Medes never destroyed ancient Babylon.
It was abandoned in about 1000 ad.
The day of the Lord was not thousands of years ago as you claim.The Lord did not come in 539 BC and punish the world for its iniquity.The land was not desolate.
Isaiah 13
9 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.
