Like I said, the events shown in the Daniel 9:27 verse DO NOT RELATE to the events in the 26th verse. And it is interesting that you tried to focus on the 25th verse, when I was pointing to the 26th verse of Daniel 9.
Dan 9:26
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
KJV
There is NOTHING in the above 26th verse about the placing of the
"abomination of desolation" IDOL at the temple that Lord Jesus warned about. Instead, that "prince that shall come" was the Roman general Titus whose army destroyed the 2nd temple and city of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. The temple burned down before Titus could get control of it, so NO "abomination of desolation" event happened.
That above phrase in red ONLY... is about Christ Jesus in that above verse, and all it does is reveal that Christ would be crucified to end the 62nd week. The previous verse 25 "seven weeks" added to that 62nd week makes a total of 69 weeks, leaving the 70th week unfulfilled.
So what your brainwashed false doctrine of men that you follow, which tries... to claim the LIE that Christ's Ministry continued into the 70th week, is nothing but an influence by Satan's children of darkness.
And of course the
unbelieving Jews hate the Jewish historian Josephus, because they claim those with him under siege that they all... chose to commit suicide, but Josephus was the last one left and he backed out. Yet Josephus is an important Jewish historian that lived around 100 A.D.
