Of course not, but if she had shunned him for his (sin?) she will never ever reach him. She should have acted like an uptight holier than thou Christian who rejects those in the world due to their sin? We could talk with no one!! Allow the Holy Spirit to convict him when the time is right. Do you see what I'm saying?
To me the matter is of the heart. If someone is vicariously enjoying the violence, that is for God to say, and for the person to know about them self, but it's not for others to judge, in my estimation.

If a person acknowledges such, that's another matter.

Romans 1:32 KJV
Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

It's not a good thing.

We only have a certain few recorded conversations Jesus had with unbelievers, and with those who were seeking. It seems to me He very quickly turned these conversations to spiritual matters. Paul of course used boxing as an analogy for having spiritual discipline so there is a natural seque to spiritual things in this particular situation.

Much love!

No I don't as you are seeing things as black v white. She could have quickly turned the subject to something else. Talking about violence is something we as Christian are told to avoid.

I mean, she could have excused herself from that subject in an inoffensive way by saying she did not like the sport.
Maybe . . .

"Are you a boxer? Did you know there was a boxer in the Bible? But his opponent wasn't in the ring, it was in himself! That's where the real enemy is. Do you ever find it hard to do what you know is right? What about when you know what you did was wrong? It's one thing to conquer a man in the ring, but how can you conquer yourself?"

Or who knows? As the Spirit may lead, and I pray we would each of us have the good reply to whomever we may meet, with the opportunity to share our faith, in Jesus' Name, that He will be glorified in His holy ones!

Much love!

Stop getting personal.....I too can get personal

I have no hate in my heart for anyone.....oh Lord please help this man...he’s accusing me of hating him.....

I guess I must leave him to admin...

Here he goes again....do not force your belief on to me....ABorn Again does not sin because they have been Born Of God’s seed......I do NOT sin....I’m Born Of God’s seed.....

You do not understand Born Of God’s seed?

In your spirit?
Explain what it means?

No one said we weren’t without sin....our sin is forgiven and on Christ.....we have received the Living seed of reconciliation....a Living divine visitation/ spirit/ heart revelation.....when we were Born Of God’s seed...His witness the Living Holy Spirit....only he can testify Gods truth to our heart/ spirit...

Admin I will leave it to you to sort out....I’ve asked him that we ignore each other....
Bearing false witness is not a good thing. I asked you before to ignore me but you continue

From now on I will just expose the things you say I disagree with. Not for your sake for the sake of others

@Wynona and any other mod can you please help this child see her issue. I feel for her I really do

I get what you are saying. But still…I don’t know why or if it’s from God the desire to be loved or accepted within the body. I think yea. I wonder if Paul felt it too. When he intreated them to not harden their hearts but to open their hearts door. Can you tell when the door shuts, slams shut on you so you won’t enter into that hardened heart? 2 Timothy 2:3 You therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

Maybe that’s why Paul rejoiced when God opened a door. there is a longing to enter. In some ways I think God places that desire to enter unto hearts, calling to people to open, knocking. As He said “I stand outside knocking.” Paul knocked on hearts, they are telling Paul to prove Christ speaks in Paul. See, hear…Paul carried the Spirit of Christ and Christ knocked and way too many times besieged, cried even for others to open their hearts for the Spirit to come in. Is it wrong too be long-suffering, to be cared for or accepted or valued or to go unto others?

There is an angst as we see the religious leaders…did they really want to enter any hearts except to keep others out?

but Paul …I read often how much He longed to receive word …their acceptance encouragement. Their welcome refreshing. Sorry…just thinking out loud. To me it would be lying to say everyone has gotten over caring what others think or no longer caring to be acceptable. For some reason there is a strong longing in us to belong somewhere and to be accepted. Even in a crowd of men …they too all want to be accepted. Why do they talk so fast and don’t even hear anyone sitting on the edge? Because they want desperately to impress one another. They may say “not at all.” But they too want to prove something. They too long to belong. My husband and I are the same. I know he has the same weakness and longings I have of at the end of the day..his needing to be loved. We can say whatever we want but (Imo) if epi does do what others say in patting himself on his back it’s to be loved and accepted. And then the others come needing the same dang thing. Everyone going around and around in circles for a place to belong and at each other over doctrines. There isn’t a single one of us that isn’t displaying wanting to be accepted or loved. you included Lizabeth. It’s in our very nature to need love. I’m not talking about the religious leaders kind of love …I mean the desiring “a body” “a permanent structure” “not of this world” …you don’t desire going solo.
We all have our issues and I don't think it's sin to "want" love and acceptance for our own sake, it is in the nature of our humanity, but we can die out to "needing" it and living for it. And love for others can make one want or long to be with them, in fellowship or in communication with them etc...that is not sin. I don't see Paul as being self-seeking, and it is also possible to want to be accepted for righteousness sake, simple justice, or for the sake of the other that they not do wrong or reject what is good for them.. Jesus had no place to lay His head in this life....that can be like us when we have no fellowship and no "church home".

When I complained to the Lord about being alone in my faith, He right away opened the scripture to me "When I called Abraham I called Him alone." It wasn't what I wanted to hear...but I needed to learn that His grace is sufficient..........that HE is sufficient. We are on a journey of losing our earthly/fleshly/worldly fountains (sources) and learning to have "all our fountains in Him"...everything we truly need coming from our relationship with the Lord. Painful like a bed of nails, until we die out to those "needs" one by one.....that's why the wilderness is so dry, it is like our old natural man is being starved and parched to death (on purpose).....in the meantime it is the fellowship of His sufferings.

You know, I think the essence of love is being "known" - being seen and heard and understood and accepted warts and all......that is the inner longing everyone has that no person or persons on earth can fulfill, but truly only God can.......and that is why when the perfect comes it will be "then we will know even as we are fully known"....that is perfect love, I believe.

Explain what it means to be Born Of God’s seed?

Therefore it is you who is bearing false witness...that a Born Again does not sin because they have been Born of Gods seed?

You cannot deny Gods word...when you don’t even know what it means to be Born Of God’s seed?

Don’t bear false witness when you have no spiritual understanding of what Born Of God’s seed means!

A Born Again does not sin because they have been Born Again of imperishable seed that liveth band abideth forever...Born Of God’s seed....... @Eternally Grateful has no understanding of what this means....therefore he’s in error...

My suggestion is that either or both of you stop responding to each other. No last word, no conclusion...just give it a rest. If you don't want to do that, I have nothing else to offer publicly.

When I have a personal comment to make towards someone, I like to address it in a private message. I don't feel a need to do that right now.

I've been married to my wife for 35 years now. She and I have much in common, and we are both in this deep healing process. I cannot imagine how I'd have survived without her! We've been able to give each other much understanding and help over the years. It's not the easiest life, but there are worse! I pray God will bring you to someone with whom you can share this life, and the joy of our Lord!

I've seen that website before, I haven't looked at much of it so far.

I've gained significantly from reading Dr. Daniel Amen's book, "Your brain is Always Listening". He has a lot to say about the narratives in our minds that were formed within the traumas, and how to shut them down today.

Much love!
That is so lovely that you have each other. I hope l can find a man with cPTSD.l have looked at the Amen clinic briefly. It sounds interesting. What l have been working on with YouTube video s, is recognising when triggering happens and stopping it.

The most hea!ing thing though is love. I have been blessed by a few occasions when meeting Christians away from home and them just loving me. Once was on a weekend retreat where they all gave up sugar for me so l would not feel left out.

You don't have to respond either way. Not saying choosing that is the easy path. But it'd do some good.
I will respond when he bears false witness of me and Gods Word.

I hope you gave him the same advice you have just given me.

It would do us both good!..not just “ me”...

Wow RJ now you are telling staff what to do.Unbelievable.
What?

I asked her a question?

She has no power....she’s tried to calm the thread...EG has ignored it..I asked him to ignore me, he wouldn’t.

Can’t you stand alone...instead of standing with your clique of friends?

Grow up and stop nit picking because I upset you regarding your theology.

Talk about an over exaggerated post...because I asked her that she advised him the same advice she gave me...otherwise she’s a hypocrite

I want for you to know that many times I've read your posts with deep appreciation for your insights, and how they have led me to reflect in very profitable ways! Dark paths can lead to great light!

Much love!
Thank you. That means a lot. I mean this…I really choose poor wording concerning “they snicker.” Bad wording on my part. Snickering sounds vindictive which I don’t think neither of you are. Mostly I was so focused on considering the disciples challenges that I said something rude and mean to make a point. I haven’t watched all of “The Chosen” but what I did see. One of my favorite scenes is where the disciples are all sitting around debating over who is the greatest and who he loves the most and he (the actor)comes walking up…they are asking and keep asking “which of us is greatest?” “Who do you love more?” and he is so exhausted from the day he can barely walk, leaving them to go to his own tent. I get it was only a reenactment but it floored me. I love the disciples are so real with true challenges and struggles. I meant nothing by the remark except that He had chosen them despite their obvious shortcomings.

I did suggest the same to him. I have no control over either of you. Its a suggestion that I think would help everyone.

I dont control anyone. People will do as they please. Its my wish that this arguing would stop. But it could easily be wiser for me to just to ignore it from this point having said what I wanted.

Thank you! Your transparency and honesty is SO refreshing!

This is why, though, I don't watch The Chosen, I want my perceptions formed from Scripture, and the writers of The Chosen go beyond that.

Much love!

Oh goodness I watched Noah’s Ark. it’s been a long time ago. It had really large stone beings helping build the ark. I can’t remember but I think it …or at least I came away from the movie thinking they gave most of the credit to these stone beings. I get your hesitation in what you watch.

I saw that movie, Russell Crowe, right? Horrible movie! And at the end the nephilim are redeemed and turned into angels, horrible theology! not that a being might be restored, but that they portray this directly against the Bible.

Much love!
