Rather odd peterlag . me thinks something has went wrong big time .
You just showed me something . You said you cant just read the BIBLE anymore that you skim it at best
cause you have most of the new test memorized . PARD , i been reading it FOR YEARS DAILY .
AND I KEEP READING IT .

i will say this , go read the definition of it . THE DEFINITION of it is CORRECT .

ITS ALL the same essence . But i bet you think now i believe there are three gods . NO I DONT .
ITS ONE GOD . GOD IS HIS WORD HE IS HIS SPIRIT .
They didn't have faith though it says "You stand by your faith" (Ro 11)?

Well then would you mind explaining to me why when i warn and remind the church they must CONTINUE IN CHIRST TO THE
END . JUST LIKE JESUS and the apostels did , is this now attacked and seen as not having trust or faith in CHRIST .
THERE IS A REASON why JESUS said all that HE DID say , there is that same reason the SPIRIT
unctioned the apostels to do and to write as they did write . ITS CALLED LOOKING OUT FOR AND KEEPING THE CHURCH
ON GAURD and aware . IT IS THE WORK OF THE VERY SPIRIT ITSELF to KEEP US SAFE AND FROM FALLING .
but i bet even that sounds like my trust aint in JESUS . BUT IT IS IN JESUS .
HIS SPIRIT unctions me by those same words and reminders . Warning and reminding me daily , KEEPING ME safe DAILY .
BUT WHEN FOLKS TAKE OFF from those reminders , WELL prepare to fall is all i can say . JESUS KNOWS HOW TO KEEP the LAMBS SAFE
HE DOES KEEP THE LAMBS SAFE , BY HIS DAILY REMINDERS , BY HIS SPIRIT , BY THE REMINDER OF HIS OWN WORDS .

"His saints" refers to His holy people, Israel, where His presence dwells (unlike any other nation (Ex 33:15)), which God has promised will never see an end. Peter and the rest of the Jewish believers are the remnant of His saints, Israel, that will never end. Then others may want to add "the Israel of God", don't want to get into that.

I would have to understand the context.. I teach that Paul did not think he arrived at the end he continued to run the race.. And I am not attacked.. what is different between us in this area, or is it the way your say it mayBe?
Yeah, idk why you see mutual exclusivity between one sin meriting death (eg, Adam) and the fact that we're called to walk in faith, and when we don't, we sin, and are not justified but condemned (as also James teaches), because we're not revealing God's righteousness from faith to faith (Ro 1:5,16,17, 14:5,23) whereby we would otherwise be justified.
Yes, to understand this, we have to understand what sin is, and how small of an act or thought will bring spiritual death from sin, because sin can seem tiny to us.

So, you finally concede they had faith. Good.
They were "grafted in" by God. Were they able to trick God into cutting them off of their original wild olive trees and grafting them in to His cultivated olive tree, and make them partakers of the substance of the root, and of His kindness, with false faith? That's what you'd have to believe. Nah, I doubt that.
So, they had "real" faith, but were warned they could be cut off for unbelief as well.

You and I do sins we do not even know are sins. The fact is if we stood in front of God right now. We would both merit hellfire.
But I have been given Gods grace and forgiveness. Because God so loved me he sent his son to die for me. So i could recieve his forgiveness in humility
You. What I see you standing on. i do not see much hope.. But I am sure you will be reading off all the great works you did in Jesus name….

People look at overt sins. They forget the root of sin. Which is self, or pride. Long before I commit the act of overt sin, I have already sinned in my heart.. And I can sin in my heart without even doing the overt act. So like the jews. It is easy to look at self and say you’re not that bad. And refuse to look at yourself through Gods eyes.
This is irrelevant. The topic is abiding is necessary for eternal life bc the life is only in Christ (1 Jn 2:28, 3:23, 24, 5:11,21).
The fact that we must be forgiven doesn't disprove that God expects holiness, nor that if we don't walk in holiness He has threatened to remove His Spirit (Ps 51:11; 1 Th 4:8; 1 Jn 3:23,24).

Have you ever really imagined yourself standing before God being judged? I have! I do! I think it's foolishness to think we know how God will judge us when we stand before Him. When the inner workings of our hearts are revealed. When all pretence is over.
I agree with you, it's easy to get caught up in thinking that you are OK when you are not, since that's where the flesh wants to lead us. Into allowing the fleshy way, thinking it's spiritual. Do we think, that can't happen to me?
Who is able to give a Biblical definition of exactly what "Abiding in Christ" means?

Already disproved this : branches that don't abide are thrown in the fire. You have had no rebuttal to this for a long time already.
That's not the point. You're assuming a method of abiding, all I need to do to disprove OSAS is show abiding is necessary and that some do not abide, as I've done.
