No you don’t. You preach walk in self. If you do not. You will lose salvation and be lost

I believe in the power of God to change lives,,

when will you?
I believe God changes lives, and I believe it says "God is at work" there fore "obey". You see mutual exclusivity wherever there is none. That is your issue not mine.

Ok then

You should believe when he saves someone he saves them completely. And he who began a good work will complete it

And you would stop this lose salvation nonsense if you do not change yourself.

You don't know Scripture. I can't help you if you reject Scripture. What can I do.

Once again, Abiding in the vine is what we do to produce fruit. It is God who attaches us to the vine, we cannot attach ourselves. And god promised he would never leave nor forsake us

If we want to produce fruit. If we want to win spiritual battles. We need to abide in christ.

we do not abide in christ to keep saved. That salvation occurred when we were born again, Jesu said we would never die..

don;t let the people take the joy of your salvation from you by trying to show you you need to work to keep it..

Lol "Again", you get thrown in the fire if you don't abide. You want people to believe that's not problematic. You are not helping them by telling them that.

As for branches, we are all our own fruit tree, or grape vine. Each of us has different branches..God cuts the branches off 9our bad spots which keep us from bearing fruit0 and throws them into the fire.. Another term god uses is we are being refined by fire.. to be the one God created us to be.

again, Do not let people remove the joy of your salvation and plant doubts in your head.

You have no idea?

The Scripture already told you: only those who abide in Him receive His Spirit, and only those who obey Him abide in Him (1 Jn 3:23, 24).

Oh I see the problem. You think we have to keep the commandments to be in him. I think those of us who are "in him" are the ones who can keep his commandments.

Note: The commandments mentioned here are not the Old Testament Israel commandments.

Yes

That would put us back under law and not under grace..

scripture Is clear. If it is grace it is no longer works, otherwise grace is no longer grace

Mixing grace and works is like mixing oil and water.. they are not comparable

Interesting report, Peterlag. Sometimes I enjoy my old dead body... darn thing likes to come back alive sometimes, gotta knock it out with some prayer and perspective, and put it back down in the grave with Christ, and step back into the new life, raising again to new spiritual things rather than the flesh.

Reminds me of Daniel, Daniel 1:8 - gotta make up ones mind.

I stay in the spirit now. It did take Romans 12:2 to do it because I was so used to walking in the flesh. Like breaking a habit. It did take me a while. www.carb-fat.com/walking-by-the-spirit.html

Even if your ridiculous assertions were entertained, wood is not "refined" by fire, its burned. Lol Metals are refined in a fire. Lol You're really having a hard time accepting your error, so you raise even more errors. Just humbled yourself.

1. 1 Jn 3:23,24 says His commands are to believe in Him and love one another, and that only those who abide in Him by obeying these commands receive the Spirit. 1 Jn 5:21 shows us what leads the "little children" to not abide (1 Jn 2:28): idolatry. If we examine Jn 15, we see this same dynamic: the branch abiding receives substance (the Spirit) from the Vine to bear fruit, the branch not abiding (by disobeying) doesn't receive substance (the Spirit), and cannot bear fruit, so they're cut off and thrown in the fire.
If you want to dispute that, go ahead, but show how I erred.

2. I agree we're not under the Law of Moses.

Amen,,Spiritual maturity takes steps of faith. Walking in the spirit is not easy for a babe in christ. But the more we grow. The easier it gets.. But we always must be on the alert andnot think we made it

We see the Scriptures differently. Let's try an example that might help you see what I'm saying. Because I loved my Father so much (was already his seed) was why I wanted to please him. What I think you're looking at is that you would want to please some guy so that he will let you be his son.

Amen

God has not given us a spirit of fear but of sound mind

We work out of gratitude for the love God gave us (we love because he first loved us)

not out of fear God will kick us out of his family

The words don't change depending on my motives : you abide in Him by obeying His commands to believe in the Name of God's Son, and love one another.

1 John 3
23This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us. 24The one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him.

Do you dispute that?

I have a question @GracePeace, do you believe it's possible to abide in Christ, 100% of the time, 7 days a week? And what does abiding in Christ produce in a believer?

Since abiding includes believing He forgives you when you fail/sin, I don't see why not.
If you fall, doesn't that start all over again, and not 100% of the time? What do you believe that you are gaining by abiding in Christ? What are the benefits to it (abiding)?

Abiding in the Word, remaining in faith, walking in faith, means you're abiding in Christ, and you're in a position to receive the eternal life/Spirit.

Can you show me what the fruit of that looks like? While you are doing these things though, are you building up spiritual treasures in heaven as Jesus said? (Perhaps the new Mansion you will receive when you leave here to there where God resides?) - Mansion = Spiritual body that is raised from the dead.
