You didn't answer the question about YOUR FRUIT THAT YOU PRODUCE compared to the fruit of the Spirit list???God wants obedience to his commands in the Torah. His commands teach us how to love others and ourselves and God. Without obedience it is impossible to truly love. That is why the Torah is summarized with love. If you steal, then do you not love your neighbor. If you murder, then you do not love your neighbor. If you try to change your gender, then you do not love yourself because you are denaturing your body.
And consider that our fruit is not grown to just eat ourselves, we are to share it with others.
So it is not so much how you view yourself, because most of us think more highly of ourselves than others think of us. YOU really are what others around you that know you, (your family close friends), all think of you. They consume your fruit. What does it taste like to them? We don't praise ourselves, rather let others praise us if we deserve any at all.
Let me add this. The Judaisers insisted on the Gentiles keeping the Law, in specifically circumcision. This verse corrected them:
"Now therefore why do you put God to the test by placing upon the neck of the disciples a yoke which neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear?"Acts 15:10
YOU are trying to do the same thing. Sorry, I don't wear that yoke!
