@farouk of course. It’s all about Him. Learning and growing in knowledge of Jesus and our Father. Growing in spirit and walking by faith friend.

Maybe all the demonic doctrines come from you and not us. Things that make you go hmmm. Like the Pharisees you concern yourself with the sins of others instead of looking at yourself and judging your own life rather than judging others.

hope this helps !!!

That is why each night before I go to sleep, I ask myself if there is someone I need to forgive. So I forgive you, C.

Forget about the Reformation, that's your straw man. I'm not discussing reformation, I'm discussing the Bible.

And you are discussing me, and falsely.

Over and over you couldn't see that only the words of JESUS are truth,

Seriously?

All the Words of Scripture are true. They are all the Word of God, Jesus Christ. All of them.

Including that you are saved to the uttermost BECAUSE Jesus "ever lives" to make intercession. Why would that be do you suppose?

Much love!

marks, you do know a lot. And that is why I was surprised that you could be hood-winked. The only things you believe that are false, came from the R.

You can keep saying that, but it won't make this true. I've learned what I know from the Bible itself. Think of me as some dupe if you want, if that makes you feel better, or somehow makes your life easier, just the same . . . I'll keep showing what the Bible says.

You'll notice that I quote the Bible, and not reformation writers.

Much love!

It is just that a misinterpretation is a misinterpretation and not at all what the Author meant. Like it or not, you believe some of those twists of scripture.

14 Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; 15 and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, 16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.

Nope, I am definitely NOT Word of Faith. You are very forgetful, unless you just like bearing false witness. Is that fun for you?

Jesus said in John 8:32-36 and 1 John 3:4-9 that He would take away our sin. And He does.
What does "taking away our sin" mean? That is the real issue.

1. Christ took away "the sin of the world" at the cross. Which means that He paid the full penalty for the sins of the whole world.

2. However the atoning work of Christ is applied only to those who obey the Gospel. And repentance is necessary for the remission of past sins.

3. However the "flesh" (the sin nature) of believers is not eradicated when they are born again. Instead they are given the gift of the Holy Spirit to empower them to resist temptation. Which means that sin "shall not have dominion over you".

4. Yet Christians can and do sin, and need to confess their sins and repent.

5. In view of this no Christian is sinlessly perfect, and anyone claiming this is not only deceiving themselves but making God a liar (see 1 John 1).

You are charismatic correct

Yes, I am filled with God's Spirit and have many of the gifts of the Spirit, except 2. But the Word of Faith doctrines are what I'm against. Basically, they have misinterpreted some Scriptures, and instead of doing God's will, they want God to do their will. Just the opposite of what a Rhema is in John 15:7.

5. In view of this no Christian is sinlessly perfect, and anyone claiming this is not only deceiving themselves but making God a liar (see 1 John 1).

You have to look at the context of 1 John 3:5 to see which type of sin Jesus takes away, and the answer to that is the previous verse - sins of LAWlessness. When we are born again, we have the same nature as Jesus had while in His ministry on earth. Do you realize that, or think that's impossible?

Again, sinless and perfect are two different things. Sinless is at the beginning of our walk with Jesus when we are given a new nature. And perfect is after a lifetime of maturing the fruit of the Spirit, the last being agape love. And the steps to becoming perfect are in 2 Peter 1:5-7. Enoch, have you really not heard me say this before. How many times do I have to correct sinless perfection. And why do you not believe Jesus to remove our old nature that sinned, and replace it with a divine nature that doesn't? Where does that unbelief come from?

And as far as 1 John 1:8 and 10, they are to Christians but ABOUT Gnostics who do not believe in sin at all. Once born again we ARE without sins of lawlessness, and in Jesus there is no sin. 1 John 3:5 making us children of God. But if you want to believe you have to always say you are a sinner, then you will live up to that reckoning. What a low standard to live down to.

Psalm 34:8
[8]O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

According to this verse, I believe that we can experience God by knowing and trusting Him.

Jesus said in John 8:32-36 and 1 John 3:4-9 that He would take away our sin. And He does.

Jesus also said to "Be perfect, as My Father in heaven is perfect." But most scoff and say, that doesn't mean in this lifetime. Why? Their own experience.

But some have not experienced this life changing event called the baptism of the Holy Spirit which is what makes us born again, and they see no change in themselves. So instead of examining themselves, and seeing their weakness of nature, and ask Jesus to take away that evil, weak nature, they don't believe what Jesus said, and twist His words to match their own experience.

So what is it going to be. Jesus, or your experience? The time is short, so get to the bottom of this eternal question. We all better work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. it is obvious to me that many church fathers twisted the truth to match their own experience, but they are just men. I believe Jesus.

What do you think of the doctrine that states that a person is born of the Spirit before the baptism of the Spirit ---to receive the immersion in the Spirit as a "second blessing" ??

And what are reasons for your views?

My own experience is being born of the Spirit as I was baptized in the Spirit, as you say. But I don't wish to limit others to my own experience.

Thanks :)

You and them have the exact same doctrines including the kenosis heresy, false christ.

Yes, there are two.

The apostles received the Spirit to be born again from Jesus when He blew His Spirit into them in John 20. They were then told to wait in Jerusalem for the powerful baptism of the Holy Spirit for ministry and received it on the Day of Pentecost. This is how Peter was told by revelation that Joel 2 was being fulfilled that day.

The 120 disciples with the apostles received Christ's Spirit for sinlessness on the Day of Pentecost making them belong to Christ, Romans 8:9, and in Acts 4:29-31 they received the baptism of the Holy Spirit for boldness and ministry with signs and wonders.

I believe I was sealed when the Lord stabbed me in the heart with the truth of John 3:16. I was "in the Lord." Years later, a tongue of fire smashed into my chest and tongues burst out of my mouth! The Lord was in me! Hallelujah! That's how I see what He did to me.

You and them have the exact same doctrines including the kenosis heresy, false christ.

I can teach them the tweak in their understanding that will make all the difference in the world to receiving the answers to their prayers they so desire. They are so close to the truth that it would not take much to bring them in line with the Truth. And I have with my WoF friend in NC and now she is in line with the Scriptures. But our friend in CA where we are all from won't hear it from either of us. And I'm very afraid for her, because her motives are all about getting rich, and manipulating others.

But then there are others that are so far from the Truth and any amount of faith in God's gifts and sinlessness that the Spirit would have to tear down all their false doctrines to the basement and rebuild from scratch. And boy, do these people hate me on these forums! Whew. But they are of the world and don't know it, and that is why they hate me as prophesied by Jesus.

I don't think anyone on the forms hates you, what they hate is your false teachings on sinless perfection, Jesus not being fully God for 33 years, you claiming the gift of teaching when you have false teaching about Jesus. So there are many contradictions in your belief system.

Also don't you believe that Jesus now in heaven is no longer has a real human body with real human flesh ?
