None of that cancels out what Jesus said about him building his church by the same means in which Peter came to know the truth of who Jesus was.
You're just looking at it all wrong, all through the eyes of men who did not hear what the Spirit said to the churches.
And your point is?
That is only the smaller part. But you have left out the greater part, which is the Father's part.churches? There is only one Jn 10:16
You CANNOT give the keys (jurisdictional authority) to a confession but to a person! Peter
Vs 19 I give unto thee (Peter) thou shalt bind (Peter) thou shalt loose (Peter)

If only we could kiss an antichrist book, affirm DAMNABLE heresy of "you can go to heaven by Torah" and be accursed according to Paul Galatians 1:6-9. Then we'd be in the faith! "Well, that's only PART of the Church"--oh so what happened to the boast that you "all say the same thing"?And are outside the church and the new covenant
Nothing more than sects and heretics

Have you then decided that Luther, a man not here to defend himself against your words, is guilty of something unforgivable by God?gal 1 that applies to luther and the so called reformation

You don't have a clue. The Epistle to the Galatians dealt with the Judaizing heresy.gal 1 that applies to luther and the so called reformation
mod course they are men, have fallen human nature and are not impeccable but through is all Christ brings his spotless bride, they actually increase our faith in Christ and His word
The church must be of divine origin or it could never have survived 2000 yrs under such men, but as to teaching the universal church cannot teach error Jn 8:32 Jn 16:13 and is still the one true church Jn 10:16 the successors still have the authority of Jesus Christ Matt 28:18-20 matt 16:18 matt 18:18 Jn 20:21-23
A sacrament is not a signal event to establish a covenant. It is supposed that a sacrament is a physical means to a spiritual grace. The question is this. What does God want me to do in order to receive a spiritual blessing from him? Essentially, the question is, what set of behaviors, once having been performed, will induce the deity to bless? An outward sign
it’s not a bible study but a covenant
No, it means "look". Jesus is dying on the cross and he wants John to take care of his mother. He isn't saying, "she how great a woman is my mother! What does Behold in scripture mean?
A marvelous thing!
A miraculous action!
A wonder!
An awe inspiring declaration!

So, there IS scriptural support for Luther and the Reformation. Why do you call it so called?
The Reformed church jettisoned the heavy yolk of Roman corruption.

Sorta like your Bishop (whom you already stated was false--no reason to defend him) telling Shapiro he can be justified by the works of the Law.
Luther “Faith alone” is another gospel
1 Timothy 4:1
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
latter times 1500 yrs after christ
Sooo who was running the church while these men were doing their evil deeds ,let me guess the cardinals ?
evil popes increase the faith, interesting

This line of thinking is very similar to the techniques associated with magic. What rituals or actions must be performed that can subdue or manipulate supernatural beings and forces?
Catholics call their magic "the sacraments."
