I've tried repeatedly to get this guy to just accept that Christians have different opinions, but he seems unable to respond to my beliefs without saying, "You have nothing." And then he accuses me of not using the Bible. So I post about 7 or 8 Scripture passages to him, and He simply dismisses it, not because I'm not using the bible, but only because he disagrees with me!

I've tried and tried to keep our disagreements "Christian" and on a level of love and respect. But some just seem unable to manage that. I'll keep trying until hope is gone.

Every Christian is worth being eternally patient with, because we never know what is going on in their mind. I know people with genuine paranoia problems, who actually believe you're insulting them with the slightest disagreement.

I don't know the people I speak with--they could have psychological problems, or they could've had a rough background. An early field of study of mine was in the area of psychology. As a Christian I cannot judge quickly, or by mere appearances.

And although I'm certainly capable of it as a forgiven sinner, I don't feel I'm either bitter or wish any ill upon anybody here. I wish them all to treat me and to be treated like brothers and friends. But doctrine is one of those things..... ;)
