Amen.
The truth is not everyone is your friend. There are people who will lie and manipulate you; just as I have done to many people. There are some that believe they need to have dominance over a persons faith, and that they need to believe everything they believe just exactly that way otherwise you are an enemy to them.
No, not everyone is our friend, even if we are doing our best to make it so. And again, yes, there are people who lie either purposely or in their errors/ We need to always stand on the Lord's side even when we have no direct easy answers to give to our opposers. If and answer is needed, God will provide that as well. There were times when Jesus spoke not a word. There is as Solomon wrote a thousand years before Jesus was born in Bethlehem that there is a time to be silent as well as a time to speak. God always knows which is needed.
I truly do believe God loves everyone... otherwise he would have never sent his Son JEsus Christ, but some people say that you need to be a certain way for Jesus christ to accept you? Is that really true? While it's understandable our flesh can never inhereit the kingdom of God - It's only the spiritually built on the foundation of Christ the receive rewards (even if they struggled between the flesh and the spirit), I don't understand why people have such hatred toward people.
God will accept a humble heart. If we cannot speak, He is able to read our hearts. People believe they need to be right in the conversation or argument. People need to be listening to God and obeying His voices always. Yesterday's answer may not for me in this moment be equal to today's answer to seemingly the same question.
Even though I have had hatred towards people, and Paul had hatred towards Christians. It's out flesh, our pride, isnt it?
What we need to overcome is not the sin, for which Jesus paid the price, but the sinful ways, the ways of men, which may not be in themselves, sin, but when followed they lead us to sin.
1jo 2:16 | For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. |
The world in that verse, I believe, is the
world of each of us That is the world that Jesus overcame. Jesus did not overcome planet Earth. Each of us by the power of the Holy Spirit must also overcome our little world of me so that we are no longer led into sin.
Joh 16:33 | These things I have spoken to you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye will have tribulation, but be of good cheer: I have overcome the world. |
Thank God it's him looking at the heart, because there are people out there in dispositions that really have a desire to love God and they do it by loving others - if if their flesh fails.
Amen! God will fill in the slack if we are really trying to do the best than we can.
Why do people think people need to perfect exactly like them or believe perfectly exactly like them?
Whaat the scripture names as "perfect" is not, I believe, what men call "perfect". God is looking for a perfect effort from us based on what we have at the moment:
Lu 12:48 | But he that knew not, and committed things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For to whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required: and to whom men have committed much, from him they will ask the more. |
I don't care if people choose not to consider the information given - it's up to them but God states to love people... love people means to love them... in the AGAPE Sense...
Why is it hard to grasp that love? That type of mentality of love that God is?
If they move off the foundation, and seek after the world, yes they most certainly can, what do you think?
Jesus loved us in our depraved state first... even praying for his Father to forgive the murderers who put him on the cross.
Give God the glory, my friend; give God the glory!
