His whole purpose is steal the worship, honor, and obedience due God by "His" people and appropriate it to himself. That's what the word "anti" means, "instead of", not against or the opposite of.

Actually the word can have either meaning, or both as it is in his case.

Yes, he will use miracles but not to convince folks he's God but to convince Israel that he is the Messiah. The majority of end times prophecy concerns Israel but not as a time of more punishment but to show them the way back to God and fulfill the prophecies about national Israel's salvation and restoration.

The world will accept him as God which means everyone will be either compromising, or he will become what everyone is expecting. Remember Paul saying he would be a Jew to the Jews and a Gentile to the Gentiles etc? I think the AC might do that but with miracles and deception.

In the desert, in the secret chamber?????
Oh man, you are too much.

The problem is the secret chambers are not crypts and tombs. They are closets and storehouses.

I think it is certainly at least inventive, and could do well on the Marvel Comics circuit, and maybe even a movie.

But I don't think it's worth all the drama leading up to it.

Unless you have something else up your sleeve.

I would like to tell you that you would understand why these two people are identified as one beast if you understood who they were.

It is one person beast with two symbolic horns. He isn't two dif people. No writer of scripture wrote of two people ruling the world in the GT. It's ONE PERSON and he has ten kings. They rule the world. That ONE PERSON is called the AC, land beast, false prophet and man of sin etc.

According To The "Revelation of the Mystery," it is More important to:

1)
not identify/look for the Wicked one, the man of sin, the son of Perdition, But TO:

look, watch, and patiently wait For The LORD Jesus Christ, The HOLY One

(2 Thessalonians 2:1; Romans 8:18-19; Romans 8:23; Romans 8:25; 1 Corinthians 1:7;
Ephesians 6:12-18; Philippians 3:20; Colossians 4:1-3; 1 Thessalonians 1:10;
1 Thessalonians 5:5-11; Titus 2:13)
After the rapture of the Church which is very soon it will be important for those that are here, especially those of the twelve tribes, to understand that:
Ecclesiastes 1
9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

Nimrod, is the beast of the sea, who was, and is not and will come again. And when they say:
Matthew 24
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
2) heed:

Col_3:1 "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which
are Above, where Christ Sitteth on the Right Hand of God."

Col_3:2 Set your affection on things Above, not on things on the earth.

3) learn God's Word Of Truth, Rightly Divided, That Teaches the Body Of Christ is going to
be "Caught Up" To Heaven ABOVE, Before "the Time of Jacob's [Israel's] earthly Trouble!":

Php_3:20 "For our conversation [citizenship] is in Heaven; from
whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:"
-----------------------
Precious friend(s):

Grace, Peace, And JOY In Christ, And In His Word Of Truth, Rightly
Divided (+ I and II)
!
2 Timothy 3
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

The beast is one man

The ten horned beast is not a man in Daniel or Revelation. In both the ten horned beast is a KINGDOM. Only the little horn and false prophet are singular men.

Yes. That's correct. The beast of the sea is Nimrod.
Another problem, is that the head was wounded as unto death, and was deadly, but was healed.

He did not die and will rise again thousands of years later.

He spiritually comes from the bottomless pit beneath the sea, with the same ministerial spirit of hunter-conqueror of souls as Nimrod, But no wicked man will be resurrected from the dead, until after the first resurrection of the saints, and Christ's thousand year reign is expired.

Archaeologists thinking they may have discovered his tomb, is no basis for teaching prophecy of Scripture.

You're a hoot though. A real hoot.

Nimrod, is the beast of the sea, who was, and is not and will come again.

He was, and is not, and yet is.

Not come again. Resurrected Jesus Christ is the only one who comes again to the earth.

All antichrists are them that were saved, and are not saved, and yet are ministering lies to the saved.

It's all about false ministry to seduce even the elect, if possible.

it's making spiritual war witht he saints, first by ministry, and then with the body.

It's as old as Cain first talking with Abel, and then killing him for not joining in his own brand of sacrifice.

Does Nimrod fulfill the requirements to be the beast of the sea?

Was he a King of Babylon? Yes, Nimrod was the first King of Babylon

Was he an Assyrian? Yes, Nimrod built it and is referred to as the Assyrian several places in the scripture.

Is his number 666? Gilgamesh was considered 2/3 god. 2/3 = 66.6

And why would the fir trees and the cedars of Lebanon rejoice when he is laid down? As for the cedars of Lebanon, they were cut down to build cities. Nimrods throne was from a cedar of Lebanon. As for the fir trees rejoicing when he is laid down, for those that don't know, the Christmas tree has nothing to do with Christ. The Christmas tree was around long before the time of Christ. Of course it was not called a Christmas tree. The evergreen tree represented eternal life. After Nimrod was killed he was claimed to be the sun. That's the origin of the sun god. His mother, who was also his wife, claimed to have gotten pregnant by a ray of the sun and had a child called Tammuz. (This is the same story as the Mary being impregnated by the holy spirit) Tammuz was the claimed reincarnation of Nimrod. Tammuz was killed by a wild boar and blood was said to have spilled on a tree stump. The next day an evergreen tree was claimed to have grown evernight. So the fir tree was cut down and decorated from that time. (there are other versions of the fir tree being cut down also) That is another example of the Babylonian religion merging with Christianity when the Romans took control of the Church and claimed to be Christian. The origin of the Catholic lent is actually 40 days of mourning the death of Tammz.
Ezekiel 8
13 He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.
14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the Lord's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.
How many fir trees have been cut down honoring Nimrod. Nimrod is also the yule log that is burned on December 25th. So when Nimrod is laid down at the end, the fir trees will rejoice as millions and millions and millions and millions have been cut down since the time of Nimrod.

Is he in the bottomless pit? Nimrod was considered a mighty man and he as Gilgamesh was considered 2/3 god. Nimrods DNA was not pure man. Those spirits went to the bottomless pit.

Did he have a deadly wound of the sword? Nimrod was killed with a sword and his body was cut up.

The tomb of Nimrod was found in 2003. One month later we invaded Iraq. There is talk of cloning. And that is how he is the eighth and is of the seven is possible. The beast was and is not and yet is.

NIMROD IS THE BEAST OF THE SEA.
You shouldn't take pagan myths so seriously, as to mix them with Scripture.

All Scripture is true, and all paganism is myth only.

"Gilgamesh was considered 2/3 god. 2/3 = 66.6"

Sorry, the pagan myth of him being 2/3 god is, well, false. And there's no decimal point in the number of the beast.

Neither was he the progenitor of Assyrians, nor was Babylon ever a part of the Assyrian empire.

What you have here, is a Nostradamus-sized misshapen puzzle, with pagan pieces jammed into Scripture.

Nimrod will not be living again with the rest of the dead, until the GWT.

The Last great antichrist on earth will be full of the spirit of Cain, Nimrod, etc... with powers of Satan, who inspires all antichrists.

Oil was Gulf War 1. Gulf War 2 was started so we could get to the tomb of Nimrod. As Nimrod was and is not and will come again. There was no weapons of mass destruction.
Uh oh. You're sliding into illusion.

Believe me, Bush did not keep the war going to look for a tomb.

No, no one was pulling his strings, other than the devil having him make rules of engagement against our own troops.

Archeologists thirsting for a great find, saying they think maybe and perhaps they have found the tomb of Gilgamesh, is hardly a basis upon which to build a teaching of prophecy of Scripture. (Monty Python, Holy Grail)

I believe the a/c will be at least half Jewish of the line of David to be taken seriously as a possible messiah.
A Syrian born Jew converted to Christ, and then making his own gospel of Christian-Judaism.

Possibly building a temple with an ordained priesthood to receive offerings for sin.

The last great false christ, thinking himself to be the Jesus Christ come again in the flesh, to establish his own millennial reich.

He may use german architects of the grandiose Hitler style. Possibly a son or grandson of Albert Speer. :)

It's been fun, just not real fun.

But a resurrected Gilgamesh-Nimrod is a real hoot. It's not a total disappointment.

You just need to not be believing the pagan myths, as though they matter to anything.

No man was ever 2/3 god. One man is all God, and that's enough.

Even the giants were not 2/3 god, but just had angel steroids in their blood and bones.

Remember, the last great antichrist had no power of his own, but all was given to him, even the mouth he speaks with.

A resurrected man on earth has his own power, which is the Lord on Patmos.

Excellent point.

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

Antichrists are false apostles that bring in their own gospels, rather than that of Jesus Christ.

They come on their whited horses to hunt and conquer the souls of men, to become ambassadors in their own name, rather than of Jesus.

They make themselves head of the body instead of Christ, rather than minister the Head in Christ's stead.

Good point, thanks.

Yes, he will use miracles but not to convince folks he's God but to convince Israel that he is the Messiah.
Scripture says both: a false christ showing himself to be God.

The majority of end times prophecy concerns Israel
The Israel of God. All the earth will be infected with his organization of Christian-Jewish churches.

but not as a time of more punishment but to show them the way back to God and fulfill the prophecies about national Israel's salvation and restoration.
Exactly. The tribulation and wrath of man is upon the saints, to purify us.

Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

The tribulation and wrath of God punishing the wicked, will be after He comes again and resurrects His church into the air with Him.

Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile.

Before he comes to the earth itself to slaughter the armies, He will send His plagues upon the inhabiters remaining on the earth.

Perhaps the saints will be the ones casting down them hail stones of a talent a piece.

You shouldn't take pagan myths so seriously, as to mix them with Scripture.
Pagan myths? You are uneducated in this matter. Who is Baal? Who is Molech? Who is the queen of heaven? Who is Tammuz? Who is the golden calf? You will find these so called pagan myths in your Bible so I am not mixing them in with scripture, as they are already there. If you understood anything about the origin, of what you call myths, you would understand why they are in scripture.

All Scripture is true, and all paganism is myth only.
Gee. I wonder why it is in scripture. Why is Babylon called the hammer of the whole earth?

Jermiah 50
23 How is the hammer of the whole earth cut asunder and broken! how is Babylon become a desolation among the nations!

Nimrod will not be living again with the rest of the dead, until the GWT.
No. Nimrod will not be living with the rest of the dead. He will be living with the rest of the living. You can pretend that these verses aren't in scripture if you would like.

Revelation 17
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

Revelation 17
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

I know them. You're problem is you're believing and quoting them, as though they had any truth to them.

Scripture only mentions them to condemn them, not to justify them as having any truth.

You believe and teach the myth of Gilgamesh as being part god, and use that to show he is 66.6

You see how there is a difference between knowing them, and believing them to use for prophecy of Scripture?

I'll give you this much: it's not impossible to think, that since the Lord could raise Lazarus from the dead, to live out his mortal life for a season, then He could do the same with any dead man today. And time of death would not matter.

But, if it is Nimrod brought back to life by God, then it would be as a mortal man and not a part-time god. And his soul would have been tormented in flames of hell, unlike Lazarus.

There is also a far possibility to believe those coming out of the bottomless pit of hell in Rev 9, are angels currently kept in hell with chains of darkness.

I suppose anything really may be possible with God.

But, I would want more certain scriptures about such a thing coming to pass, as a long-dead man made to live again with mortal flesh on earth.

I will also grant this: He is a cast alive into the LOF, and does not die again and go back to hell a second time.

Gee. I wonder why it is in scripture. Why is Babylon called the hammer of the whole earth?

Because Babylon was not a myth itself, though pagan.

Your use of the pagan myths as being relevant to prophecy, is as speaking of Thor being the hammer, not Babylon.
No. Nimrod will not be living with the rest of the dead.
He will not be living again to be judged at the GWT, until the rest of the dead.

The only one first resurrected from the dead before that, are first Jesus, and then all His saints of history.

He will be living with the rest of the living.
And so, now you have Jesus Christ resurrected from the dead first, and then Gilgamesh-Nimrod, and then the church.

For it to be true, you must show Scripture stating there is another man raised from the dead after Jesus, and before the church.

You must also show Scripture teaching a man being resurrected twice from the dead.

And no Lazarus was not resurrected

You can pretend that these verses aren't in scripture if you would like.
They are in Scripture to be condemned as false, not to justify them as prophecy to come.

True, and yet is, not and yet is coming again.

It is spiritual: he that was saved, and is not saved, and yet is ministering as saved.

It's the ministerial nature of all antichrists, that depart from the apostles' doctrine, to preach their own gospel, instead of that of Christ.

You avoid a very central part of your argument: the head was wounded as unto death. It was a deadly would, but not fatal, because it is healed, not made alive again. And not by the Lord but by Satan.

O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.

For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Revelation 17
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
He will be the last great false apostle of Christ and antichrist, coming in his own name, and he will have power of Satan and a mouth to bring all the past heresies of the Jews and Christians together into one greatly final cursed gospel of Christian-Jewish making.

Once again, as the last false coming of Christ, he is one the first and the last of them all. He is the first beast and the eight beast: He is of them all, and all of them combined.

He will have the spirit and false doctrine of all heretics since Cain, including that of Nimrod, that is willing to have them killed that do not consent to his gospel.

He is the first beast and the eight beast:

You are conflating different things. In Rev 13 there are two beasts, one with ten horns and one with two horns. In Rev 18 we are told of 8 consecutive Kings, 5 had fallen at the time of the writing, one was, and there was a 7th and 8th yet to come. Now, the ten horned beast is associated with the 7th and 8th kings, but there are still only two beasts not 8.

It would be like someone claiming there are 8 dragons, 53 Babylons, or 10 witnesses.

clothed in sackcloth
Here is a subtle thing to take notice of.

Sackcloth is cheap garment, worn by someone who is destitute. Like a grain-bag that someone cut holes into and turned into a shirt. Sometimes worn by Israelites as a symbol of repentence and self-humiliation.

Your two witnesses will be basically among the status of beggars.

True. I get the kings and beasts mixed up at times.

It looks like the first beast becomes scarlet colored in Rev 17, he is also the 8th king that is of the 7.

And so, it is a leap to say he is also the first king, but since one king is a beast, then so can another, even the same beast and king.

But the ministerial and doctrinal principle is what matters most to me.

Being of the seven is as being born of them, of being from them, of having them all in mind and practice at the same time, of fulfilling all they had done before.

A complete single gospel made by one false apostle and christ, full of all the heresies come before: instead of mastering all Scripture, he masters corrupting of all Scripture.

The best pool sharks, are those who can miss the shot most convincingly, and so can lose on purpose most convincingly, until the last great game and snare.

So it is with antichrists, that do know the truth, and have known the truth, and yet do not the truth, and corrupt the truth most convincingly, in order to lead astray Christians unto himself, rather than the true Head Jesus Christ.

He that was, and is not , and yet is.

This is the spiritual formula of all false ministry, especially of antichrists, that no longer hold to Head, but make themselves the head instead of Jesus Christ: false apostles and christs.

Revelation is all about uncovering the mysteries of prophecy and Scripture from the rest of the Bible, as well as all false doctrine corrupting Scripture that has ever come before, that overthrows the faith, rather than strengthens the faith of Jesus and His word.

Just think of Judaizers, Arianism, Popism, Calvin predeterminism, created christism, natural theology of mortal souls, etc... combined into one seemingly harmless little fuzzball, until the horns and the teeth come out against them that resist his devil and stay faithful to the Scriptures and faith of Jesus only.

And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.

Through it all in this life, whether with peace or war or tribulation or wrath, our only necessary duty is to keep our eyes lifted up to see Jesus only.

Remember, the saints' war is not about the body, but about the soul and spirit. We are not fighting against flesh and blood and kings of the earth and political rivalry, but for our soul's sake.

The means of victory in Revelation tells the nature of the war in Revelation: Keeping the commandments and the faith of Jesus.

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

And so, Revelation is revealing the nature of that war with us is spiritual and ministerial, not wars of nations and kings and political potentates. When we hear about wars and rumours of wars, and we may be caught up in them, but they are not the true warfare of tribulation and wrath upon saints.

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Simply put, we fight against seducing spirits, temptations of the flesh, and false doctrine that leads astray. And the Christians of error faight again the truth of Scripture and the true gospel of our salvation. That remains the same, since Cain and Abel, whether in these last days, or in the end of last days, when the last great false apostle and antichrist finally comes, before the Lord's appearing again.

So, I really don't care about the man nor the name himself, but only about the nature of the beast, which I have learned by hard trial, to see any one of them coming from a mile off.

You are talking to the wrong guy on this. I know that. Others don't
Well, I must say, I can't 'yet' see any Scripture forbidding the conclusion, that the last great false apostle and antichrist on earth, is a man given life in the flesh once again. And since we know of two men in Scripture, that have come back to living in mortal flesh, and once at the command of the Lord Himself, then it must at least be considered.

And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them.

The nature of the first beast rising from bottomless pit of the sea, is that of the many-headed hydra, that is both fish and serpent.

It would be good if there were some prophecy of Scripture about that beast being such a man. Unfortunately, the head that was healed and did live, was only as it were wounded to death, which was therefore deadly but not fatal.

However, if that beast is indeed some man long dead, and made to live again by the Lord, whether Cain or Nimrod or Balaam or even Corah, then he will still be just like Lazarus in mortal flesh and blood, living out the rest of his natural life on earth. He will not be resurrected demi-god of pagan myth, for no such men lived on earth in the first place: those are still myths.

The giants were giants, but not demigods, that could not be killed like all men, even as with Goliath and his brothers of Gath.

The only God come as a man in the flesh on earth, is Jesus Christ.

That man of sin will have the greatest mouth and powers of persuasion and lying wonders ever on earth, whom Satan throws all in with before the Lord Himself comes again. But it is still the errors and lying deceits we battle, not the man himself. I suppose being made to live again from the bottomless pit of hell, would make him pretty much more zealous than all others, but if cut he still bleeds like any man.

"If he bleeds, we can kill him." (Predator)

Frankly, my choice would be Cain or Balaam or Korah, rather than Nimrod, since they are warned against, and not Nimrod.

Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

And for what it's worth, Core went down into the pit alive, and he was the first example of a false apostle, thinking to make himself as Moses, or even God:

Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:

And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:

And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?

This was the greatest threat to arriving at the Promised Land, more than even unbelief and the Amalekites, because it was a direct ministerial attack on Moses, so that another should be leading instead of Moses. And lastly, it was based upon the self-righteous claim of being as holy as Moses: This is the exact nature of false apostles and antichrists.

The nature of the beast is, He that was, and is not, and yet is, first shows the spiritual and ministerial formula of all false prophets and beasts: They are those once being saved by Christ, but is not doing the truth of Christ and His word, and yet is going on to depart from the apostles' doctrine, to preach another gospel of their own making, instead of Christ.

In this case, the last greatest antichrist beast of all, would literally be as one that was alive on earth, and is not now alive on earth, and yet is coming to be alive on earth again, in natural mortal flesh and blood.

If it's true, my bet is on Korah, since he is the first known false apostle and antichrist beast to come on earth, rising up from among the people to overthrow the first apostle for the children of Israel, Moses, who gives the law of the covenant from the Lord in Person face to face. And also, Korah and company went down into the pit of hell alive, and not dead. So that he certainly was fallen and wounded as it were unto death.

The first beast will also be cast alive into the LOF.

Some people just never learn their lesson.

The only problem is, exactly how does he become a popular person of interest, without having been born into the world at the time and raised as a child? According to the Scriptures of the two previous examples, he would be made alive again at the same age as his death.

Or, as Scripture suggests, he will simply appear as out of nowhere. This would fit the nature of false christs, that appear suddenly as from the desert, or some secret place, so that they appear to come as Christ Himself again on the earth, though not this time from the womb.

This is sounding closer and closer to the truth of Scripture.

I for one, after my initial gut instinct, and even a little playful mockery, if you'll forgive me, am becoming a bit of a believer.

What I keep thinking is, why not? I see no Scripture at this time that plainly contradicts it. If there is any such contradiction of Scripture, then it at least becomes a really great imaginative idea, that is very close to the truth, but no cigar.
