Many claim the abomination of desolation (AOD)spoken of by Daniel and Jesus has not been fulfilled yet, and another Temple needs to be rebuilt in the future in Jerusalem in order to fulfill this prophecy.

The easiest way I have found to prove this doctrine is false is by Jesus’ own words. Below both Jesus and the apostles, were speaking of the Temple and buildings they were looking at "with their own eyes."

The words of God confirm this truth.....
Mark 13:1-413 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, seewhat manner of stones and what buildings are here!
2 And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,
4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

So Jesus was telling them about the destruction of the Temple they were looking at "with their own eyes."
Notice in Mark's account above there is only one question asked about when shall these buildings be destroyed, and what sign would there be prior to this event, concerning the abomination of desolation.
But in Matthew's account pay attention to the question and the prophecy, as 2 separate questionsare asked of Jesus.

Matthew 24:1-3
24 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

So in Matthews account not only was Jesus asked about the destruction of the Temple they were looking at "with their own eyes", but also about the signs of Christ’s second coming and also about the end of the world.

Now to Luke's account…..

Luke 21:5-7

5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,
6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but whenshall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

Again notice they are speaking of the Temple and buildings they are looking at "with their own eyes." And so Jesus tells them "the signs" given before the temple is to be destroyed….

Luke 21:20 “And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.” ( This is the abomination of desolation event spoken of in Daniel)

This event concerning the destruction of the cityof Jerusalem that Jesus and the apostles were looking at "with their own eyes "is also confirmed by Jesus in
Luke 19:41-44 “And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it. Saying, If thou hast known, even thou, at least in this day, the things which belong unto thy peace! But now they are hid from thine eyes. For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side. And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.”

So the common mistake here is to think that the abomination of desolation concerning the destruction of the Temple is yet future, and has anything to do with the second coming of Christ and the end of the world almost 2 thousand years later.
But when you understand the questions asked of Jesus was in two parts, then hopefully you will see these 2 events are separate from one another and are many, many years apart. Also the time line concerning "when" the AOD was fulfilled has nothing to do with the timeline 70 week prophecy in Daniel.

The end of the 70 week prophecy, and the fulfilling of the AOD prophecy are about 40 years apart from one another.
And it is also very clear in all accounts given in Matthew, Mark, and Luke that Jesus and the apostles were talking about the Temple and surrounding buildings they were looking at "with their own eyes".

There is no need for a future Temple to be built to fulfill this AOD prophecy, as it has already been fulfilled in 70 a.d. when the Roman army surrounded, and then destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple. Both the words of Jesus and history prove this to be true. With the abomination of desolation events already being fulfilled, we can now focus on the events leading up to Christ's second coming, and on the signs concerning the end of this world.

Prove all things by the words of God. Peace and God bless
I agree it happened in the first century........but also, as Solomon wrote, "what has been will be again". And Mystery Babylon (that great city Jerusalem) reaps a double destruction. Also says in Isaiah that Israel pays double for her sins. If she is going to double-down on rejecting the Lamb of God and corrupting the pure word of truth with Babylonian Talmudism by rebuilding this new Temple that God had struck down, and the resumption of animal sacrifices, I don't believe that is going to end well for the Jews or for Christians who become caught up in the deception. There is a prominent political person who is enthusiastically received by both Jews and Christians alike right now.........we need to be sober and alert and do not let our hearts be caught up with idolizing anyone and placing our trust in man.

Why did Jesus have to tell the Jews that His kingdom comes not with their careful observation but is within/among them? We are not looking for utopia on this earth. God's kingdom is heavenly/spiritual, not earthly. This is one reason the Jews rejected Jesus as Messiah, because they were expecting an earthly physical political kind of salvation and kingdom led by a flesh and blood king. Looking carefully at 2 Peter 3 we see that the thousand years is likened to the time of longsuffering which we are to account as salvation (meaning time for souls to be saved).....which time we are in now. Jesus is ruling/reigning now is He not?

Mystery Babylon is the name written on the harlots forehead, meaning it is what is in her heart/mind. Just as the name of God and His heavenly city is written on the forehead of His anointed saints. But Jew and Gentile Christians alike who have left their first love in Christ and went and played the harlot with the ways of the world shall receive of the harlots plagues, if they do not repent and return to Christ.
There is a prominent political person who is enthusiastically received by both Jews and Christians alike right now.........we need to be sober and alert and do not let our hearts be caught up with idolizing anyone and placing our trust in man.
It is true we should not put our trust in man. But it is also true that our battle is not against flesh and blood men, but against spiritual wickedness that is at work in many deceivers.
Why did Jesus have to tell the Jews that His kingdom comes not with their careful observation but is within/among them?
It is true that the Kingdom of God dwells in the Lords elect, and Christ is reigning by righteousness in the hearts and minds of his anointed saints here on earth. But Christ is not reigning in the hearts and minds of sinners who are of the spirit of this world.

"The abomination that maketh (Strongs-H8074) desolate"- Dan. 11:31, 12:11, is not an abomination to us, or towards us, but rather towards God the Father. There are seven abominations UNTO the LORD, that HE "hates". Proverbs 6:16-19.
[16] These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
[17] A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
[18] An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
[19] A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

In those verses in Proverbs, God originally said there were six abominations that HE hated, but then added in the seventh.
Which
abomination applied to the Jews, in what they did to Christ their Messiah?
Clue: see verse 17.
To me, saying the AOD has to be an abomination to the Lord, doesn’t work. The AOD is something we see.

Another problem that I see is the power Jesus had to forgive sins prior to the cross isn’t included in the typology.

Then there is the problem where Antiochus is credited with taking away the sacrifice yet Hebrews 10:9 accredits God with taking away the first sacrifices to establish the second one time sacrifice.

Oh yea, there is also Matthew 24:15 where it says “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet”, it doesn’t say the abomination spoken of in Proverbs.

Too many issues for me, I think we can agree to disagree on this.

Well, see what you think of this. Came to realize by the grace of God that we have been trying to interpret earlier scriptures through the lens of Revelation, when we cant’ understand Revelation properly without FIRST getting a handle on the earlier scriptures. Need to interpret Revelation in the light of earlier scripture in other words…because Rev is essentially a reiteration of all those earlier scrips.

Try to forget about Rev for a minute and just take a look at these scriptures for what they are:

1Co 15:22-28

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Jesus said after His resurrection that all authority in heaven and earth was given to Him (already) …...He has been ruling and reigning sovereignly over this world ever since (as well as in the hearts of His people, yes). He is reigning now until all enemies are put under His feet, which job He will finish upon His return. And also at His return He catches up His people to be with Him in the “air” forever (spiritual/heavenly realm).

1Th 4:17

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and SO shall we EVER be with the Lord.

See below here how the thousand years is as a day is referring to the time of longsuffering which we are to account as salvation (opportunity for souls to be saved as long as it is still called toDAY):

2Pe 3:3-15

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

Also note that we are looking for a NEW heavens and earth where we will dwell forever, because this temporal creation will be burned up. God’s kingdom is heavenly, not earthly.

To me, saying the AOD has to be an abomination to the Lord, doesn’t work. The AOD is something we see.
Well of course, while Jesus shed his blood on the cross, those AT THE cross, DID SEE that abomination against God the Father, of hands that shed innocent blood. Today we accept it by faith.
Another problem that I see is the power Jesus had to forgive sins prior to the cross isn’t included in the typology.
Neither was His resurrection included in the typology, of which is directly tied into the forgiveness of sin.
Then there is the problem where Antiochus is credited with taking away the sacrifice yet Hebrews 10:9 accredits God with taking away the first sacrifices to establish the second one time sacrifice.Q
It's NOT a problem in typology, which is HOW Jesus used the fulfilled event of the AoD by Antiochus Epiphanes, in Daniel 12:11.
The event of Antiochus Epiphanes-lV literally took away the sacrificing of animals, which is exactly what Jesus did do Himself. His Sacrifice of Himself, did take away the temple sacrifices, permanently. The shed blood of Christ supercedes the sacrificial blood of animals.
Therefore, on that day, the sacrificing of animals came to an abrupt end in God's mind. Today, all should know that animal blood does not do anything for anyone, for the forgiveness of sin.
Heb. 11
[4] By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
Heb. 12
[24] And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
Oh yea, there is also Matthew 24:15 where it says “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet”, it doesn’t say the abomination spoken of in Proverbs.
Literally, concerning the AoD in Mat. 24:15, it does not say "hands that shed innocent blood", was that abomination against God.

However, of the seven abominations that God HATES, I can understand how HE, Who loves "His only begotten Son", would be highly insulted and offended, by those whom He also loved, but did shed the innocent blood of "the Lamb OF God", their only Messiah/Savior.
Too many issues for me, I think we can agree to disagree on this.
For now, that's okay. Only by the mind of Christ within you, will you see it. I can only present it.
Mat. 27
[22] Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.
[23] And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.
[24] When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.
[25] Then answered all the people, and said, His [Innocent] blood be on us, and on our children [future generations].
By those words, Israel invited the wrath of God upon their city, their temple, themselves, and even future generations.

Q. So then, by whose hands was it, that shed the innocent blood of Christ?
A. ISRAEL.

Q. WAS IT an abomination committed against God?
A. Yes, absolutely! Prov. 6:17.

Q. Did that "abomination maketh [cause] desolation"? (As described in Dan. 12:11).
A. Indeed it did!! In 70AD. the city and the temple were destroyed by the Romans, along with many of the Jews.

It's all about typology, which also is exactly how Jesus used the story about "Jonah and the Whale", to point to HIMSELF.

Jesus confirmed the New Covenant, and Jesus announced to Jerusalem that its house was to be made desolate
But that is not the new Covenant. the new covenant is made with all 12w tribes. their sins are forgiven, they are once again His people (though they always have been) they will all know the Lord. Sorry try again.
This is when the Roman army came, and put in place (fulfilled) the destruction of the Temple Jesus and the apostles were looking at with their own eyes.
Butr that is not what the Matt. portion of the Olivert discourse says. Try again.
The AOD being “set up” means when it is “put in place” or “fulfilled”. The time mentioned there is not to be taken at face value, as it is a “sign” of time.
who dddecided put in place is redefined as fulfilled. Also who decided the time i snot literal but just a sign?
Paul is not talking about the destruction of the Temple Jesus and the apostles were looking at with their own eyes. Paul is talking the Temple of the body. I just posted a thread on this prophecy of the falling away from the faith and the Mystery of iniquity.
So oyou are on who believes that as believers are called teh temple of th eliving God- the man of lawlessness will possess believers. Scriptural proof?
That prophecy is about the false prophet spirit that has been around for thousands of years working in many deceivers as was prophesied.
If it has been around for so long, please cite some of the signs and wonders this spirit has done.

also please show from history, what is the image of the beast this spirit caused the peoples to make and how it made it come to life.
Look at this verse here in all 3 gospel accounts “Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:”

This is when the destruction of the Temple Mount and Jerusalem took place. This time begins the countdown of time of 1260 days ( sign of time) which would be completed when the fulness of the Gentiles comes in.

Luke’s account is the best account that shows this end point of the fulness of the Gentiles. It shall be marked by the signs in the sun, moon, and stars. ( 6th seal signs)
Well Matthew and Luke are speaking of two different events calling for the people to flee. So according to your theology the 1260 days began in 70 AD. YOu seem to make any time prophesied as to not be taken literally but allegorically. This is wrong. God is smart enough to know when to make an event indefinite. 1260 days= 1260 days. If you disagree, please show why it is not to be taken literally.

Yes, He most definitely is (Matt 28:16-18, Eph 1:19-23, Col 1:12-13, Rev 1:5-6, etc.). And His kingdom does not come with observation (Luke 17:20) and is not, and never will be, of this world (John 18:36).

Peter said we are looking for "new heavens and a new earth where righteousness dwell", not for a temporal earthly kingdom. What a letdown it would be to inherit the earth only to have it later burned up. No, the burning up and renewing of the earth happens when Christ returns on the day of the Lord.

Can you give your interpretation of this passage:

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

The saints inherit the earth AFTER it has been cleansed by fire.

Malachi 4

King James Version

4 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts

Malachi 4

King James Version

4 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

That's exactly what I'm saying. Do you read my posts? But, what Peter makes clear is that it will be a renewed earth, which is called the new earth. We will inherit that for eternity when Christ returns. The whole earth will be burned up on that day and renewed. No mortals will survive it to populate a supposed earthly kingdom of Christ.

So, what is your interpretation of 2 Peter 3:10-13? When do you believe the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night and what is your understanding of the burning up of the heavens and the earth?

No mortals will survive it to populate a supposed earthly kingdom of Christ.
Not true, a few mortals shall be left during the thousand year reign of Christ on earth to repopulate the earth.
Isaiah 24:6
Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

Ezekiel 39:2
And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:

Revelation 20:7-8

King James Version

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

So, what is your interpretation of 2 Peter 3:10-13? When do you believe the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night and what is your understanding of the burning up of the heavens and the earth?

This happens at the last day, after the saints have been resurrected and are given new glorified bodies. They ascend to heaven until the cleansing of the earth by fire is complete.

Isaiah 26:20
Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.

The ones who survive are believers whose bodies will be changed to be immortal. Peter does not allow for any survivors in what he describes in 2 Peter 3:10-12. He indicates that the entire earth will be burned up and it will result in the new earth where righteousness dwells.

What are you intending to say by quoting this passage? The next verse talks about fire coming down and destroying all of them. That lines up with 2 Thess 1:7-10 and 2 Peter 3:10-12.

This happens at the last day, after the saints have been resurrected and are given new glorified bodies.
Jesus will return at the last day which is when He will resurrect the dead and judge all people (John 6:40, John 12:48). So, the heavens and earth will be burned up on the day Jesus returns. How can anyone with a mortal body survive that? That is impossible.

They ascend to heaven until the cleansing of the earth by fire is complete.

Isaiah 26:20
Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
Where does that say anything about anyone ascending to heaven? Scripture says we will meet the Lord in the air when He comes. We will meet Him in the air on the same day that He takes vengeance on His enemies (2 Thess 1:7-10). This does not leave any place for an earthly millennial kingdom to follow His return. Again, no mortals will survive His return. That contradicts all the scriptures which teach that He will destroy all of His enemies when He returns (Matt 24:35-39, Luke 17:26-37, 2 Thess 1:7-10, 2 Peter 3:10-12, Rev 19:17-18).

Then you reject the other scriptures I posted…
Isaiah 24:6
Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

Ezekiel 39:2

What are you intending to say by quoting this passage?
It proves that the earth is repopulated during the thousand year reign, but you reject the words of God because of your false doctrine timeline.
How can anyone with a mortal body survive that? That is impossible.
You are judging the words of God by your own reasoning, and not by the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 24:22
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
Where does that say anything about anyone ascending to heaven? Scripture says we will meet the Lord in the air when He comes.
Meeting the Lord in the air is “ascended.”

1 Thessalonians 4:17
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Isaiah 24:6
Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
I don't reject any scripture. That is a lie. NT scripture tells us the the ones who survive are Christians whose bodies are changed to be immortal when He returns. You are rejecting 2 Peter 3:10-12 which does not allow for any mortal survivors of His return.

Ezekiel 39:2
And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:

It proves that the earth is repopulated during the thousand year reign, but you reject the words of God because of your false doctrine timeline.
Why are you pitting scripture against scripture? Is 2 Peter 3:10-12 in your Bible? Clearly, Ezekiel 39:2 can't be about the day Christ returns because that would contradict 2 Peter 3:10-12, Matthew 24:35-39, 2 Thess 1:7-10 and other scriptures.

You are judging the words of God by your own reasoning, and not by the Holy Spirit.
Nonsense! I am going by what is taught in scripture. Don't judge me or you will be judged by the same measure you are judging me (Matthew 7:1-2).

Matthew 24:22
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
That is talking about what happened in 70 AD. If those days weren't shortened no one in Jerusalem would have survived. I thought you said before that you understand that Matthew 24:15-21 is about what happened in 70 AD? Matthew 24:22 is referring to the days described in Matthew 24:15-21.

Meeting the Lord in the air is “ascended.”

1 Thessalonians 4:17
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Not to heaven. You said ascended to heaven. Jesus will destroy all of His enemies at that time.

2 Thess 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; 10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

Tell me, who exactly are the mortals that you believe will survive the return of Christ? This says He will take vengeance on "them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ". That describes all unbelievers. Everyone else belongs to Christ and will be changed to have immortal bodies.

I don't reject any scripture.
Sure you do.
That is a lie.
No it’s the truth.
You are rejecting 2 Peter 3:10-12 which does not allow for any mortal survivors of His return.
No I’m not, I’m rejecting your spin on 2 Peter 3:10-12. Peter did not say there shall be no mortal survivors, that YOUR spin.
Why are you pitting scripture against scripture? Is 2 Peter 3:10-12 in your Bible? Clearly, Ezekiel 39:2 can't be…
All the scriptures agree, it is your false doctrine that does not agree with ALL the words of God. Most every false doctrine of men agrees with SOME scripture, but it will not agree with ALL. That is what YOU are doing when you reject certain scriptures that exposes the ERRORS in your false doctrine.
Nonsense! I am going by what is taught in scripture. Don't judge me or you will be judged by the same measure you are judging me (Matthew 7:1-2).

I already showed you, but you do not BELIEVE the Testimony of Jesus Christ.

Sure you do.
I reject your interpretations of some scripture.

No I’m not, I’m rejecting your spin on 2 Peter 3:10-12. Peter did not say there shall be no mortal survivors, that YOUR spin.
Are you kidding me here? How in the world do you see any mortals surviving this? You are not being honest here.

No mortal can escape and survive what is described there. You are living in fantasy land. The result of the burning up of the heavens and the earth will be the new heavens and new earth, as Peter indicated.

Paul also indicated that no mortals will escape God's wrath on the day of the Lord.

1 Thessalonians 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

You say some shall escape. Paul says none of them will. I will side with Paul on this.

Tell me, what would be the reason that any mortal unbelievers would escape the wrath that will come down when Jesus returns?

All the scriptures agree, it is your false doctrine that does not agree with ALL the words of God. Most every false doctrine of men agrees with SOME scripture, but it will not agree with ALL. That is what YOU are doing when you reject certain scriptures that exposes the ERRORS in your false doctrine.
That is how I feel about your doctrine. You dismiss the scriptures which indicate that all unbelievers will be killed when Jesus returns.

Including the following passage, which is talking about the same thing as 2 Peter 3:10-12:

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Notice that Jesus is referring here to a coming day and hour when He will come again. At that time, "heaven and earth shall pass away" and, just as the flood destroyed all unbelievers in Noah's day "so shall also the coming of the Son of man be". YOU are the one who is not agreeing with ALL the words of God, not me.

The spiritual man judges all things, but is judged by none.
I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about you condemning me for my Amil belief. You associated my belief with this verse which refers to non-Christians who are "not of God" and have "the spirit of error".

1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

So, tell me. Do you believe I am not a Christian merely for having some different end times beliefs than you? Is that how we determine who a Christian is, by their end times beliefs?

Again your understanding and time line of events are in ERROR
Which you can't prove, so your statement is pointless.

What do you think “caught up” to the Lord means?
Our bodies will be changed to be immortal and we will be literally caught up to meet the Lord in the air. This isn't hard.

I already showed you, but you do not BELIEVE the Testimony of Jesus Christ.
Don't lie. I would never say something utterly offensive like this about you. If I'm mistaken about any of my end times beliefs, so be it, but your comment implies that I don't believe the gospel itself or anything that Jesus taught or that was taught about Him. You don't need to make such exaggerated comments like this. It's judgmental and unnecessary.

You say you already showed me. Where? I'm asking you who the mortals are that would survive the return of Christ. What would it be about them that would allow them to survive, but not the rest? In other words, what would differentiate the mortal survivors of His return from those who don't survive it?

In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer.

Tell me, what would be the reason that any mortal unbelievers would escape the wrath that will come down when Jesus returns?
I already told you, there shall “a few men left”as is written, who will repopulate the earth during thousand year reign of Christ on earth. Christ will reign on earth with all His anointed Kings and Priests with a “rod of iron” until every enemy shall be put under him or destroyed, the last enemy to be destroyed is Death.
You dismiss the scriptures which indicate that all unbelievers will be killed when Jesus returns.
But it does not say that. That would contradict the fact that “a few men” shall be left. It is YOUR lack of understanding that is contradicting the words of God.

Some survived the flood in Noah’s day didn’t they? God shall make man so rare on earth after the destruction that He compares them to fine gold…

Isaiah 13:6-13

King James Version

6 Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:
8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.
9 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.”
I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about you condemning me for my Amil belief. You associated my belief with this verse which refers to non-Christians who are "not of God" and have "the spirit of error".
Those who are of God shall hear His words and believe them.
So, tell me. Do you believe I am not a Christian merely for having some different end times beliefs than you? Is that how we determine who a Christian is, by their end times beliefs?
I believe you are like many who call themselves Christians, but are yet CARNAL.

Here are some earlier scriptures…

Psalm 25:13
His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.

Psalm 37:9
For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.

Psalm 37:11
But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Psalm 37:22
For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.

Matthew 5:5
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Micah 4

King James Version

4 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the Lord of hosts hath spoken it.”

Zechariah 3:9-10

King James Version

9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
10 In that day, saith the Lord of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.

Isaiah 11:6
The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

Isaiah 65:25
The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord.

Psalm 105:7-11

King James Version

7 He is the Lord our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
9 Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
10 And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
11 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:”

Daniel 12:13
But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

Revelation 5:10
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Brother I've looked at those scriptures and wondered whether God is concerned about real estate or what it represents. The Israelites possessing the land and inheriting the earth is that talking to the church about temporal real estate that is going to burn up or a spiritual/heavenly kingdom that is eternal?

My interpretation is from the Lord.
That's what we all believe. Saying that proves nothing.

Again you reject the words of the Lord….
No, I do not. I reject your intrerpretations of the words of the Lord.

When you reject the other scriptures I posted…
Isaiah 24:6
Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
I do NOT reject scripture and it is foolish for you to say so. I already addressed this. Do you have a reading comprehension problem? The few left are believers who will be changed to have immortal bodies. It does not say that there will be few mortal unbelievers left. That is ridiculous. No mortal can survive fire coming down on the entire earth. Your view defies all logic and reason.

They shall not escape Gods wrath, YOU think Gods wrath means God kills everybody. Not so….
Isaiah 54:8
In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer.
LOL. You're not even thinking! The ones who escape His wrath are believer who will be made bodily immortal! What mortal unbeliever will survive? Does 2 Thess 1:7-10 not make it clear that He will take vengeance on all who don't know God and don't obey the gospel? What unbeliever doesn't fit that description? Tell me who these supposed mortal survivors are and why they would survive God's wrath. You need to address this if you want to be taken seriously.

This is utter nonsense! That is talking about believers, not unbelievers! What would make Jesus only destroy most unbelievers other than a few? Explain that if you want to be taken seriously.

But it does not say that. That would contradict the fact that “a few men” shall be left. It is YOUR lack of understanding that is contradicting the words of God.
The ones that survive are believers. You're not even thinking about who those few people would be. Scripture says "many are called, but few are chosen" (Matt 22:14). It is the few who are chosen/saved that will survive His coming and no one else. You can't be mortal and survive fire coming down on you. Think!

Some survived the flood in Noah’s day didn’t they? God shall make man so rare on earth after the destruction that He compares them to fine gold…
LOL! No unbelievers did! That's the point! Open your spiritual eyes and unplug your spiritual ears! Just as in Noah's day with the flood, only believers will survive Christ's second coming while no unbelievers will. And believers will be changed to have immortal bodies at that point. This leaves no mortals to populate an imaginary earthly kingdom after Christ returns. He said His kingdom does not come with observation and is not of this world (Luke 17:20, John 18:36), so YOU are the one who does not accept what scripture teaches.

Those who are of God shall hear His words and believe them.

I believe you are like many who call themselves Christians, but are yet CARNAL.
LOL. Look in the mirror. And what do you mean "call themselves Christians". Are you saying you think I'm not a Christian? Yes or no. If you don't think so, then you have a more serious problem than just believing a false end times doctrine. You also have an issue of not understanding what it means to be a Christian because making one's end times doctrine a part of determining whether someone is a Christian or not is not taught anywhere in scripture.
