Preterism and the Viewpoint of Christians Following AD 70
Finally, we should mention at least briefly that Christians alive immediately following the destruction of Jerusalem did not share the preterist understanding but unanimously anticipated the return of Christ, the bodily resurrection, and the coming judgment. This observation is important: if, as the preterist contends, the apostles understood prophecy to be fulfilled in the events of AD 70, then why did their immediate followers still maintain the traditional future hope? It would seem that believers after AD 70 shared the same hope as those previously.

Setting aside the Gospels and the Book of The Revelation... Paul wrote most of the NT.
He was not a "Preterist".

There is no "delay".
God is not on your Calender, MatthewG, or whomever is teaching this cultish info.

God is NOT ON YOUR TIME TABLE.
He is on HIS OWN, according to the word of God, and that is the CALENDAR.
God is long suffering, not willing that any should perish....... and that is 2000 yrs of patience.
Currently, as the Bible foretold, this world has gone to the brink of WW3, and even more.
So the "rapture" is not late, its right on time, according to God's bringing "all things to pass", according to prophecy.

So much incredible man made "doctrines of devils" theology is always popping up like poison mushrooms.
Seemingly.....There is never an end to it, but one day, soon enough, the Righteous Lamb who is now the Lion come for vengeance, will be here.
And before that, the body, the Bride, will be with Him.

If you love Jesus, and God is your Father, then why do you keep trying to lead real believers into Cults and Cult teaching?

I can not help it if people get upset or defensive over other people who have a differing opinion.

The truth is men are shakeable. Their beliefs are shakable, just like a building.

The only thing that will remain in the things that are spiritual they can not be shaken.

Believing that the Son of Man came when he promised to come, and the apostles pushed this to others to be watching and reading in their day in age confirms the truth of that the Son of Man was indeed coming to get the bride of Christ, the (144,000 of the 12 tribes of Israel) is hard to get around.

I personally do not believe any of those 12 tribes are still around today and exist.

If the hope is for Jesus to come back, when in actuality Jesus is with you by the Holy Spirit, and the Spirit of Christ with-in you due to faith, why can not we enjoy being in relationship with the Father, and having the resurrected christ with-in us? The Kingdom of God is with-in those who have faith and believe in the death, burial, and resurrection that leads us to do good works, in which we allow the Holy Spirit, and the spirit of Christ to come through us, in which we love God and love others.
