We are just not told - it likely he was.

We are just not told - it likely he was.
All die - its a reality called mortality - even Christ died and was dead (fully) and His Father raised him (only man to be given immortality!)Living people aren't supposed to be buried.
All die - its a reality called mortality
No, its rather clear, all die in Adam. 1 Corinthians 15:22No, not all die. You should know this.
Daniel's AOD is future, and the bad guy causing the Abomination and Desolation will be present on earth to the "Consummation" Ultimate EndInteresting response. I get the feeling whatever you were shown you would disregard.
I'm intrigued you would choose these two sections of Daniel's prophecy which deal with a period of history which takes you up to, and includes Christ's second coming. So, you are partially right with your own claim, however something tells me you might not fully understand what “Continuous Historical” means.
Take your Daniel 9 reference.
Seventy weeks are decreed about your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place. Daniel 9:24
This is a little off topic in understanding that the Continuous Historical interpretation model is the correct one for understanding the Revelation.
Can you explain your understanding of how this prophecy is to be fulfilled?
Read Daniel 9:15-16 for context to the fuilfillment of the red text.
What do you think was the end of Israels trasngression?
When do you believe God put an end to sin?
And when did God atone for iniquity ?
In an ultimate sense when will God through Christ bring in everlasting righteousness and unseal the vision and the prophet, to anoint the most Holy Place?
I'm hoping your answers will show us in this one verse you have continuous historical events which leads you to a future event to fulfill this prophecy.
Ultimately, what is shown in this verse is precisely how Daniel & the Revelation must be interpreted.
Hence the different metals of the image in Daniel 2 are historical empires one succeeding the other...same goes for Daniel Chapter 7 though from God's perspective (ugly vicious beasts).
Likewise, the unfolding of History in Revelation 7 to the end (scattered throughout the Revelation are visions for each generation to hold onto, to keep their lamps alight).
Thanks

I'm curious why you would ignore my post and all the questions therein only to run off and quote another 3 sections of Scripture?Daniel's (Little Horn), Paul's (Man Of Sin), And John's (The Beast) A Literal Human Man,, That Will Be Present On This Earth At The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ
The figure mentioned above will be a "Future" literal human man, and he will be present on earth in a living human body to witness the "Future" second coming and final judgment as scripture clearly teaches below
Daniel's (Little Horn) Present On Earth At The Second Coming
Daniel 7:8-11KJV
8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.
Paul's (Man Of Sin) Present On Earth At The Second Coming
2 Thessalonians 2:3-8KJV
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
John's (The Beast) Present On Earth At The Second Coming
Revelation 19:19-20KJV
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
I have responded to your claim regarding Daniel 9 in post #205, your claim that I ignored this is 100% "False"I'm curious why you would ignore my post and all the questions therein only to run off and quote another 3 sections of Scripture?
Go back and look at Daniel 9 and consider the questions...then we can consider the above.

Daniel 9:24-27, Seventy "Future" Literal Weeks Explained?Interesting response. I get the feeling whatever you were shown you would disregard.

My apologies, I missed reading #205.I have responded to your claim regarding Daniel 9 in post #205, your claim that I ignored this is 100% "False"
I'm really not concerned with what you consider to read or not, as my claim stated Daniel 7:9-11 & Daniel 9:24-27 these are future events unfulfilled, and the presented scripture proves this fact
Jesus Is The Lord
I find your appraoch to this rather interesting 7t7.Daniel 9:24-27, Seventy "Future" Literal Weeks Explained?
Daniel's 70 weeks are literal 7 day periods, or 490 literal days.
If Daniel meant 490 years he would have written
(Four Hundred Ninety Years)
Daniel had no restrictions in "Writing" exact numerology as seen below.
Transgression and sin will end, with everlasting righteousness being brought in, this takes place at the "Consummation" of all things at the future second comingMy apologies, I missed reading #205.
Maybe, I gave you too much to consider.
What do you think was the end of Israels trasngression? What was the finish of the Jews transgression?
When do you believe God put an end to sin?
When did these events happen? Give me Scripture to show your understanding of these two things - there are many Scriptures that teach you these events.

Ah, so you force your own interpratation on Daniel 9, so as to force it into your own interpration of the Revelation. So really it matters not what Dan 9:24 is teaching, because you have made it fit so to speak your futurist view. The 70th literal week will see (The Antichrist) revealed in making a covenant, and in the middle of this literal week he proclaims to be Meshiach/Messiah God to the Jews, and Jesus returned to the apostate church, to start a Millennium on earth.
The 3.5 year tribulation starts at this time.
Daniel 9:24-27KJV
24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
The context to Daniel 9 is given to you in verses 15 & 16Transgression and sin will end, with everlasting righteousness being brought in, this takes place at the "Consummation" of all things at the future second coming
I'm fully aware that reformed eschatology teaches this took place at the cross, I disagree
Scripture reads "Seventy Weeks" if Daniel meant (Four Hundred Ninety Years) he would have written such "He Didn't"I find your appraoch to this rather interesting 7t7.
Are you saying the Scripture cannot hold symbolic numbers? That all reference to numbers must be literal, or such?
Gabriel announced that “seventy weeks,” lit., seventy units of seven, seventy heptads, had been decreed. That the passage envisions “weeks” of years and not days is all but the consensus among scholars of all prophetic schools. Just as westerners think in terms of units of ten years, the Israelites divided time into seven-year units which terminated in a sabbatical rest for the land. If a heptad here equals seven years, seventy heptads would equal 490 years.
James E. Smith, The Major Prophets, Old Testament Survey Series (Joplin, MO: College Press, 1992), 605.
I thought in Christian circles this was well accepted.
Is your extreme view of prophecy held by others here also, or do you find youself out on a limb on this "everything is future" belief?
Would you consider yourself a Bible Literalist? Do you tend to read everything in the Word of God as literal?Scripture reads "Seventy Weeks" if Daniel meant (Four Hundred Ninety Years) he would have written such "He Didn't"
It's you that willfully ignores the context of the scripture, the prince to come is (FUTURE) he will be on this earth until the (CONSUMMATION) OR (THE ULTIMATE END)The context to Daniel 9 is given to you in verses 15 & 16
15 “Now, Lord our God, who brought your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand and who made for yourself a name that endures to this day, we have sinned, we have done wrong. 16 Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts, turn away your anger and your wrath from Jerusalem, your city, your holy hill. Our sins and the iniquities of our ancestors have made Jerusalem and your people an object of scorn to all those around us.
How do you ignore the context? It's clear! I've even bolded the points that speak to the prophecy.
Your avoidence is rather telling 7 - surely you can see this much is true.

"NO" everything isn't literal in the bible, Daniel wrote (Seventy Weeks), that's what it is,, (Four Hundred And Ninety) literal daysWould you consider yourself a Bible Literalist? Do you tend to read everything in the Word of God as literal?
Not criticising you, just interested to know if this is the case.
