Angels don't have wings.

Rev 4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

These are the only heavenly creatures in heaven with wings.
Well they do fly. Also, most people consider cherubims angels.

Exodus 25:20
And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.

Try not to make declarations about things when all you are doing is expressing an opinion. I notice that happens a lot with you.

These are not angels. Angels look like human men and do not have wings.

Same to you.

So you think He pops down to fight a battle then disappears for some years again afterwards. That sounds funny.

I do not remember the bible saying Jesus was pulled up with ropes? Or beamed up by a chariot. No one says we need to flap our arms like a bird to fly. Angels do have wings, but they apparently have other uses than flapping. Gabriel came from the place God's throne is to Daniel's room before Daniel opened his eyes from praying.

We do know angels fly, why would we not also??
Revelation 8:13
Then I looked, and I heard an eagle flying in midheaven
Not any of this has anything to do with my post.

Jesus is on earth for all 7 Trumpets and 7 Thunders. Jesus is not on earth during Satan's 42 months.

The stars do move across the sky. Is that considered flying?

It's a heavenly being not an angelic being. Hard to know if that is what they meant. No angel is ever said to have wings.
The angels over the ark of the covenant had wings. Now maybe you would rather call those beings something else. The angels in Revelation fly also. Maybe you think they hopped a plane? What is the issue with wings? Have you something against them?

Angels fly. Angels also walked on earth. Angels appeared as men also. This leads me to suspect that wings on angels are something that are not always needed, yet when they are needed they appear? The dictionary I cited does say that cherubim are angelic beings. Why would we let you override that?

The dictionary is not scripture. Not one verse ever describes an angel as having wings.

Well Jesus coming back on a horse is explicitly declared in Scripture! Timtofly seems to foget that.

Revelation 19:11-13
King James Version

11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

Well you are biblically correct. Only cherubs and seraphs are explicitly described as having wings. But angels may have them as well. We just don't know!

If you want to declare that wings could not be used in angels flying or travelling, well, guess all you like. Who knows? If you want to declare the angelic beings (every time the word cherubim is used in the bible, not one verse) as something else, well, sorry, who really cares?

Absolutely. Now even if there was no horse, I have no doubt Jesus could fly also, in this case, He rides a horse. It would also not surprise me if the horse could only fly because Jesus (or saints or angels) was ON it!? Ha.

So He is on earth in all the trumpets?
Yes. From the 6th Seal until the 7th Trumpet starts sounding. The 7 Thunders happen between the 6th and 7th Trumpet. That is between the 2nd and 3rd woe. The 2nd woe is completely over, then the 7 Thunders sound. Then the last event is the 7th Trumpet sounding. The 3rd woe only happens if Satan is allowed 42 months of utter desolation.

You claim there is no verse allowing angels to have wings. Neither is there a verse about the earth spinning. Joshua 10:12-14

"Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the Lord hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the Lord fought for Israel."

Did the earth stop spinning, or did the sun stop moving?
