Too many try and read the bible and make it fit what they want it to say . That RIGHT THERE be the problem .
Too many try and read the bible to make it fit the way they believe other people should be.
Jesus says to first cast the beam out of thine own eye before pointing out the mote in the other's eye.

I believe they call that hypocricy.
And the world is full of it.
Trump isn't good enough because....
Biden isn't good enough because...
Kamala isn't good enough because....
Vance isn't good enough because...

Are any of us good enough?

Why callest thou me good? There is none good but God.
And he determines what's good enough for him.

God chosses whom he will to do whatever pleases him and serves his purpose.
I don't suppose too many christians were thrilled with Paul who was Saul a known assasin of the christian church to become their leader to Christ and the truth.

You may not like a certain person or a certain religion or even the way society is headed. But everything has a purpose and that is God's.
If Trump becomes president then it is God's will.
If Harris becomes president then it is God's will.
Nothing we do will thwart God's purpose.
We can cry and moan all day about the injustice of it all, but in the end God will fulfill his desire, and our faith is in his willingness that that desire is for our good.

All we can do and should do is be the best that we can be. We can't control other people and what they think or do. All we can do is share with them the knowledge we have been given to share. What they do with it is out of our hands. God will sort it out.

And above all else as brothers and sisters in christ, we should strive to have peace with one another even when we disagree.
That is the greatest weapon the devil has... division.
And in todays world we need to be seeking that unity in faith rather than dividing apart because of differences of opinions.
The only thing in the end that is going to matter is how we loved one another as he has loved us.
All other things will eventually melt away.

Everyone has a role to play in this game of life. And not everyone gets a good part or the leading role. Most are just extras in the crowd watching the parade go by.
It's how we conduct ourselves while watching that parade that is being judged.
You are being watched to see how you react to whatever is put in front of you.

Everything, every word, every person, every circumstance that enters into your life is for your training purposes.
So when something moves you one way or the other you can check yourself to see how you react to situations.
Are you angry? Why are you angry? Does it merit anger? Will anger change anything or just pull you away from love?


I think most of you know I been taking care of dad since he left rehab back in april. He can't walk, he has trouble holding things. He has trouble holding utensils and has to wear a bib. He can't use the comode so I have to change his briefs.
I have a hoyer so I can transfer him from the bed to the recliner. And that's not an easy task. It takes some energy and planning how to get from point A to point B. And sometimes he wants to transfer 3-4 times a day.
I get him out of bed for breakfast, he wants a mid morning nap for 1/2 hour and he wants it in bed. I get him back in the chair for lunch, and he wants another nap in the afternoon. I get him up for dinner and then I put him to bed for the night.
Sometimes we have trouble with his catheter or he gets constipated real bad....
So there are days when my patience wears thin and in my head I get feeling sorry for myself. I wish I could just sleep later in the morning. I wish I didn't have to cook today. I wish he would stay in bed so I wouldn't have to keep breaking my back rolling him from side to side.

But then I have to catch myself and think... what are you going to do when he is gone?
That kind of changes my whole perspective on things. And I ask Jesus for strength and gentleness and patience.
And he is with me every moment of everyday reminding me that what I am doing for my dad I am doing for the Lord.

We all get frustrated at times. Just don't let it get the better of you. Remember why your here and what your purpose is.
It's not to please the world by no means. It is to please the Lord and do the work that he has given you to do with joy in your heart and a smile on your face, even when you feel like crying.
Because even when your crying on the inside, Jesus is there wiping away your tears and showing you that you are doing exactly what you were meant to do in the time that you are here.

It's a good day.

You see if i am teaching one to not commit adultery and yet I commit it , HYPROCRISY .
but to teach and to correct IS A GOOD and DIRE NEEDFUL THING to do .
Its just we bess not be playing the part of the hypocrite when we do so .
I have seen many whose love is money and sit under kenny and benny and osteen
Try and rebuke the homosexual . I keep thinking , OH DEAR
the love of money be the root of all evil and you cant see that LOG in ya eye homie .
TIME for the church to expose ALL SIN . not some , ALL sin . and ensure we ourselves
are not playing the hypocrite .

Isa. 22: 19
Shebna is described as having an "office" and a "station." An office, in order for it to be an office, has successors. In order for an earthly kingdom to last, a succession of representatives is required.

This was the case in the Old Covenant kingdom, and it is the case in the New Covenant kingdom which fulfills the Old Covenant. Jesus our King is in heaven, but He has appointed a chief steward over His household with a plan for a succession of representatives.

Isa. 22:20

In the old Davidic kingdom, Eliakim succeeds Shebna as the chief steward of the household of God. The kingdom employs a mechanism of dynastic succession. King David was dead for centuries, but his kingdom is preserved through a succession of representatives.

Isa. 22:21

Eliakim is called “father” or “papa” of God's people. The word Pope used by Catholics to describe the chief steward of the earthly kingdom simply means papa or father in Italian. This is why Catholics call the leader of the Church "Pope." The Pope is the father of God's people, the chief steward of the earthly kingdom and Christ's representative on earth.

Isa. 22:22

We see that the keys of the kingdom pass from Shebna to Eliakim. Thus, the keys are used not only as a symbol of authority, but also to facilitate succession. The keys of Christ's kingdom have passed from Peter to Linus all the way to our current Pope with an unbroken lineage for almost 2,000 years.

Jesus' "keys" undeniably represent authority. By using the word "keys," Jesus gives Peter authority on earth over the new Davidic kingdom, and this was not seriously questioned by anyone until the Protestant revolt 1,500 years later after Peter’s investiture.

Revelation 3:7 "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: `The words of the holy one, the true one, who has the key of David, who opens and no one shall shut, who shuts and no one opens. Almost the same wording is used in Matthew 16:19

Whatever Peter binds or looses on earth is bound or loosed in heaven / when the Prime Minister to the King opens, no one shuts. This "binding and loosing" authority, a rabbinical term, allows the keeper of the keys to establish "halakah," or rules of conduct for the members of the kingdom he serves.

Jeremiah prophesies that David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the earthly House of Israel. Either this is a false prophecy, or David has a successor of representatives throughout history.

Dan. 2:44

Daniel prophesies an earthly kingdom that will never be destroyed. Either this is a false prophecy, or the earthly kingdom requires succession.

the pastors have decieved us my friend .
They are trying to make it seem that just because one is not perfect persay , they cannot correct the error within said church .
They try and make us feel condemned enough to not say anything about someone else sins .
GUESS what , I dont heed them . they just want to ensure they pockets get lined
and they just dont want to have to correct things and they want the churches fat and full of money givers
so they sell the lie its judgy and not our job to correct those in error .
But i would not heed them . rather lets learn and heed the bible and that pattern .

yeah , to the above written lecture about the pope and office of the pope .
My best advice is , dont heed them and let us rather learn the bible for ourselves .

I don't know exactly what God has planned or the reason why so many today are so sick.
But I do know that God is a God of healing and when that healing comes upon the world...
It won't be anything we have done.

Well, there's a lot to unpack here, and I don't want to write a book. But, I would offer the following points for your consideration:

1. Nothing in the Bible contradicts any Catholic doctrine, and vice versa.

I know that what the CCC teaches can be found in the bible, somehow, or in the ECFs.
It's just that sometimes the verses are stretched a bit to make them fit.

2. We believe that while doctrines cannot ever change, our understanding of them can develop, i.e. we can find deeper meaning of existing doctrines.

I can't really think of any except for confession.
That certainly changed starting in the beginning.

I think that John 20:23 may be referring to the same situation as in Corinthians which is spoken of by Paul.
A member of that congregation was removed from their midst due to extreme immorality.
Did Paul feel that person should be forgiven and given access to the brotherhood again?

I say THINK because I'm not sure about this.
Confession is mentioned in the writings of the early fathers...
but it was general and in the church of the time (spoken out loud).
The Didache, for example, mentions confessing our sins, but it doesn't say how.
The later Fathers DO state to do so to a Bishop, but this is when the method was already changing.

Anyway, it's a long conversation and even Jesus said that only God (HE) could forgive sins, so I'm left
not absolutely sure it's necessary to confess to a priest.

3. Confession, like the other Sacraments, have necessary elements to them. Whether they are practice in a particular way doesn't really atter, as long as those elements are there. With regard to Confession, John 20:19-23 clearly shows Jesus Christ (God) delegating His godly authority to the Apostles to forgive or retain sins. Since the Apostles weren't called to be mind readers, the sinner had to tell (confess) his sins to the Apostle in order for the Apostle to decide whether to forgive or retain that (those) sin (sins). Authority is 'given" not "taken." The Apostles "gave" the authority given them by Christ to their successors, the bishops, who did likewise, down through the centuries till today.

4. Purgatory is certainly in the Bible, both Old and New Testament. Here are a couple of articles that touch on where it can be found in the Bible: 1) Is Purgatory Found in the Bible? 2) Did Jesus Teach that Purgatory Is Real?

Well, you may not like my answer, but there are.
This would make the sacrifice of Jesus unnecessary, no?
1 Corinthians 3 definitely is not about purgatory.
I'll be happy to go over the verses if you like.
The Matthew verse is the only place in the NT where Jesus says anything like this
and it can be understood in different ways.
Jesus spoke many times about important matters.

5. Indulgences - here are a couple of articles that may help explain indulgences, etc. 1) Myths about Indulgences 2) Primer on Indulgences The first explains what indulgences are not and the second explains where the reasoning and Biblical references supporting indulgences may be found.
You know Augustine, I know what indulgences are.
I just don't think the church, any church, could offer indulgences because a saint was spoken to by God.
And, I think the church incorrectly used them for its own reasons ... some of which were to build churches here in
Europe for the glory of God.
I mean, to offer to have someone spend less time in purgatory because someone paid a sum was pretty awful stuff.

Today, no payment, but they still exist.

I just cannot agree.

I read those and watched the video. I dont get it. It's based on human logic.
In the video, the man spoke about Mary so much that I couldnt recognize him as Christian. Where was anything about Jesus' on the cross for us? He became Catholic to honor Mary it seemed. He said he communes with Mary.
This is all so foreign to me. I couldnt recognize it as Christian.
this doesnt seem like the apostolic fathers at all. You guys have changed a lot- into something unrecognizable for me.

My Mother was Catholic and my Father is a protestant. When my Mother married my Father the catholic church excummunicated her for getting married.
Today they are accepting anything and I mean anything in the name of unity.
My Mother lost her faith in God because of the catholic church.
And I suppose in those days it was the right thing to do in their eyes.
But you know, they change like the wind with whatever is acceptable by society and what helps them stay in power.
God don't change.
And if you are given a stewardship of the things of God, you aught to be obeying God with the stewardship you've been given.
Instead of trying to please the world.

Now Paul makes it quite clear who is acceptable and who is not acceptable in God's church.
There is a whole list of things that are unacceptable.
And yet most churches today disregard the list and except everyone into the church as if it was an orgy on steroids.

I don't go to church. My church is me and dad. And everyday the Lord is with us guiding us in his ways and in his truth.
And I don't need man to teach me what I should or shouldn't do, because everything he requires of me is already written in his word and in my heart and in my mind.
I wish my mom hadn't put her faith in the catholic church. I hope she still had faith in God when she passed away.
And somehow in my spirit I am comforted that she did. Even though that anger of being denied by the church stayed with her to her last breath. God never denied her because she married the man she loved of a different religion.
Because it's not about someones religion that matters. It's about the love we have and the family we raise, and doing that which is right in God's eyes not mans.

1Co 6:9
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Just because the church accepts them doesn't mean God will.
The church should be honest and truthful with the people. If there is no change of heart, no repentance, no change in ones lifestyle,
your gonna be on the outside looking in wondering what the hell happened.
And those that lied to you will be looking at you from the depths of hell itself.


Stewardship of the things of the Lord is nothing to take lightly, which most churches today do.

I don't know if every diocese has an exorcist....I would tend to doubt it because it's such a specific calling.
Perhaps the thing was that the clergy of the Church of England had access to an exorcist. I know they are needed - probably more than ever these days. I was once present in a large gathering where a man had a demon cast ot of him so I do understand that it is a real thing.

And I know your heart and your compassion for those who are going down a very dark path.
I don't know exactly what God has planned or the reason why so many today are so sick.
But I do know that God is a God of healing and when that healing comes upon the world...
It won't be anything we have done.

My Mother was Catholic and my Father is a protestant. When my Mother married my Father the catholic church excummunicated her for getting married.
Today they are accepting anything and I mean anything in the name of unity.
My Mother lost her faith in God because of the catholic church.
And I suppose in those days it was the right thing to do in their eyes.
But you know, they change like the wind with whatever is acceptable by society and what helps them stay in power.
God don't change.
And if you are given a stewardship of the things of God, you aught to be obeying God with the stewardship you've been given.
Instead of trying to please the world.

Now Paul makes it quite clear who is acceptable and who is not acceptable in God's church.
There is a whole list of things that are unacceptable.
And yet most churches today disregard the list and except everyone into the church as if it was an orgy on steroids.

I don't go to church. My church is me and dad. And everyday the Lord is with us guiding us in his ways and in his truth.
And I don't need man to teach me what I should or shouldn't do, because everything he requires of me is already written in his word and in my heart and in my mind.
I wish my mom hadn't put her faith in the catholic church. I hope she still had faith in God when she passed away.
And somehow in my spirit I am comforted that she did. Even though that anger of being denied by the church stayed with her to her last breath. God never denied her because she married the man she loved of a different religion.
Because it's not about someones religion that matters. It's about the love we have and the family we raise, and doing that which is right in God's eyes not mans.

1Co 6:9
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Just because the church accepts them doesn't mean God will.
The church should be honest and truthful with the people. If there is no change of heart, no repentance, no change in ones lifestyle,
your gonna be on the outside looking in wondering what the hell happened.
And those that lied to you will be looking at you from the depths of hell itself.


Stewardship of the things of the Lord is nothing to take lightly, which most churches today do.

The Harlot is as a chameleon my friend , she knows how to blend in and she do conform

That place went from bad to worse but sadly so too is many protestant churches .

GUESS what ziggy , IT WONT . they aint never gonna see the very world peace n safety
they thought this false love lie would bring them too .
HERE Is what they gonna see .
ABOUT the time they are saying PEACE N SAFETY and praying to the mother earth religoin
SUDDEN DESRUCTION . THEY GONNA BRING DOWN THE WRATH OF ALL MIGHTY GOD and of the lamb ,
CAUSE IN order to get this so called peace and safety , THEY REMOVED JESUS cause that offends its divides to dont unite .
THIS is not about to bode well ziggy . NOT at all . But as for the lambs we have arrived upon the ARK
and the destruction will not come upon us . THE ARK IS JESUS THE CHRIST only most wont get on it .

Perhaps the thing was that the clergy of the Church of England had access to an exorcist. I know they are needed - probably more than ever these days. I was once present in a large gathering where a man had a demon cast ot of him so I do understand that it is a real thing.
Oh yes demons are real
and the power to cast them out is real .
Only many do as did the jews of sceva
they too holler in the name of this jesus
only THEY DO NOT KNOW JESUS THE CHRIST but only a version sold to them of men .
That wont bode too well either .
But you are very correct . Demons are real and there is such a thing as demon possesion .
And it dont take holy water and tons of chants or gathering wtih mediums
and other faith healers , in fact that be dead wrong to do .
WHO do the demons fear . WHO HOLDS THE POWER . GOD DOES JESUS DOES .
paul and others simply cast them demons out in the name of JESUS the CHRIST .
now there is a particular mentioning of a certain spirit
where JESUS said and mentioned prayer and fasting as well . it was the dumb spirit .
it almost behaved like eliplespy in a sense , though i am not saying it was epliepsy .
But it would come upon the boy and he would fall down and etc . it had done this since he was a child .
Yes my dear sister but just as demonic possesion is real , SO TOO is demonic oppression and instuction .
We got dark spirits of men who have crept into churches to lead us away from the faith .
THEY are under the power and influence of other spirits . though they do believe they serve GOD . IT AINT GOD
or it would not be omitting the dire need to beleive on JESUS THE CHRIST
or trying to imply that JESUS is the minstir of sin .

Sola Scriptura is the Way the Truth and the Life = "the Word that was God from the Beginning"

What does NOT work is 'unbelief' in the Word of God.........."Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God"

People CHOOSE to reject(unbelief) scripture for the following reasons:
a.) heart hardened thru sin
b.) RELIGION = RCC, SAD, Pre-Trib, and on and on it goes
c.) Fear of man = Religion/Social/Political
d.) Partiality / Respect of Persons
e.) lacking the Holy Spirit

Also, it would be very easy to understand Christianity if we only read what Jesus taught.
But we have to read Paul, and Peter and James and so on and then try to put it all together.
Not an easy task.

There are some that believe Paul has different teachings than Jesus.

So, yes, I think it's a bit more complicated than you make it out to be.
Can you think of a solution?

Hi Ziggy,
This is very sad to read.
This is why I've disassociated myself from any church, although I do go to Mass every now and then
for various reasons I won't get into. Actually, there is no other church around.

Just because your mother was disillusioned with the CC doesn't mean she left God.
My mother had a similar experience, but she remained faithful to God.

I agree with all you've said above.

Serve God with your heart.
He knows our heart.

I read those and watched the video. I dont get it. It's based on human logic.
In the video, the man spoke about Mary so much that I couldnt recognize him as Christian. Where was anything about Jesus' on the cross for us? He became Catholic to honor Mary it seemed. He said he communes with Mary.
This is all so foreign to me. I couldnt recognize it as Christian.
this doesnt seem like the apostolic fathers at all. You guys have changed a lot- into something unrecognizable for me.
OH its getting worse too my friend .

and they have come together to build in her inclusive many strange stone tower
they all believe will reach to heaven , that GOD has made the way to him BROAD
and that JESUS no longer needs to even be beleived in ........
And she has taken control of the protesetant realm as many of its leaders
also cry for unity , unity and holler too about her inclusive love .
And they beleive it will usher in world peace n safety a utopai of the times .
HERE IS WHAT IS GONNA USHER IN
For when they say peace n safety SUDDEN DESTRUCTOIN COMETH UPON THEM ALL .
THEY DENIED the DIRE NEED TO BELEIVE JESUS IS THE CHRIST
and they embrace false paths and sins as well and turned the image of GOD and of HIS CHRIST
into a minstir of sin and an accpeter of all religoins and paths as valid . ONLY THAT AINT GOD OR HIS CHRIST at all .
and it darn sure aint the LOVE OF GOD EITHER .

You need to rewrite your second setence . you said most christains beleive in the word of GOD .
NO , they believe in what MEN tell them is the word of GOD . they beleive in what men tell them about the bible .

I aint attacking every single church . BUT i am tellling us
most all of christendom is now under the sway of a well favored harlot who has cried to all
come ye and embrace my love and drink of my cup which

but they know not her cup is full fornications . No sir . get out and learn the bible for you .

THEY are gonna merge us with a false love . dont you see that .
THEY GONNA MERGE US ALL under a lie .
a lie to serve the harlot who influiences even the kings of this earth .
THEY are making a one world relgion , but are very slick on how they do it .
Cause they are just making it more into what they preach as a religoin of love .
Even athiests can beleive in a form of love just as do the false religoins .

of findiing common ground
THEY HAD TO ALSO remove all core fundemantal beliefs of every relgion .
CAUSE they wont unite by that . SO BREAK DOWN WALLS , aka REMOVE CERTAIN DOCTRINES
and build up bridges , focus on good works and what we have in common .
ITS A LIE and most are now falling for it . IT will merge the lost
to no longer be divided but now united as one , BUT NOT UNDER GOD .
NO SIR . and it has a common enemy , THE TRUE GOD , JESUS THE CHRIST and those pesky bible lambs that wont budge .
This is gonna lead to all out tribulation and harsh times against those few who will not conform .
IT will lead them all as one RIGHT TO THE DAY OF AREMGEDDON wherein they BE DESROYED by the wrath of GOD HIMSELF .

their vatican , their denomination , their church CANNOT be decieved or invaded from within .
MEN are not infallible people . NO MAN IS INFALLIBLE

I misspoke!
In my second sentence, which you said I should rewrite,
what I meant is that most Christians believe that the NT is THE WORD OF GOD....
BUT
they either don't follow it or understand it to some degree.

Thanks for pointing that out.

And, of course, I do believe that the bible does not contradict itself.
I cry this out to the reformed but they don't hear.
