Of course, but no one is forced to submit to God's softening of their heart. Even using the word "Rebellious" insinuates that the person has the opportunity to submit to God, otherwise, what is he rebelling against? Jesus said he would draw all men to himself. Not some men. But not all men submits to his drawing.
Does not God’s giving one a new heart and a new spirit, speaks of the new birth ~ born again? And of course there is nothing forced with regards the new birth. However, it must be realized that with regards the new birth, it is God who wills it and is the one who brings it about. God does not wait for one to submit to Him to create him anew. God creates anew, giving one a new birth, according to His divine nature.

God requires you to surrender to Him and will give you the new birth as the result of that surrender.

For, there is a halfway point between total depravity and being regenerated; which halfway point is being drawn by the Holy Spirit to Christ: in which a man, being not yet regenerated, is enabled to make a decision either for or against Christ that is unhindered by the flesh or the enemy.

He helps you to make a decision on the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:1-2).

A man is not born again until after he receives Jesus as his Lord and Saviour (John 1:12); and that means surrendering to the Lordship of Jesus in his life.

Does believing in Calvinism automatically make a person of God's elect?

If someone believes in Calvinism but the reality is that they are not of the elect, then their very belief excludes them from the kingdom of heaven in such a way that they cannot enter in.

Thus in believing in Calvinism they oppose themselves and are in fact condemning themselves.
Sounds good, but I don't think staunch Calvinists see a problem with that conclusion. :)

It takes for fallen mankind to have a new heart to surrender his life to God. For this is the heart of fallen mankind according to God: every intents of the thoughts of his heart is evil continually even from his youth.

You are mistaken.

For God is able to help an unregenerated man to come to faith and surrender in and to Christ (2 Corinthians 6:2)

He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. (Matthew 12:30)
What meaneth this?

That scripture has nothing to do with the context of what I am saying.

The halfway point is when a man is being drawn to Christ and it only lasts for a short period of time in which the person has an opportunity to guve their heart to Christ or else ultimately reject Him.

I'll comment on this from #330.

Remember, He gave Himself for us [The elect] in order that He would deliver us from this present evil world according to Gods will Gal 1:4-5

4Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

5 To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
To their shame, many today do not believe that Christ Intercession is effective, in that they believe, many for whom Christ gave himself for, and is now presently interceding for, will yet perish in their sins .how frightening.

What they fail to realize, is that Christ Intercession ensures for every sinner He died for, a Divine Intervention in their lives delivering them from sin and converting them unto God..

Jesus has already delivered us who follow Him, His elect, from this present evil world. To know you are an "elect" there is evidence. We have been delivered from the urges to sin from our old nature, and been born again to partake of the divine nature of God who dwells inside of us.

2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
That's not what I posted.

It must be realized that In 2 Cor. 6, Paul was not talking to unbelievers, so to speak, but to the believers in Corinth.

2 Corinthians 6:1-2 gives us a principle that is applied as holy scripture...that those who will be saved will be helped to make a decision for Christ on their day of salvation.

From where did you get that so called halfway point? Have any scriptures that support such teaching?

Let me ask, did the Father gave to the Son, all mankind, to save and raise at the last day? If not, then there are those the Father gave to the Son for salvation and there those who are not. Those who are not, needless to say, will not come to Christ and those who were will and will be saved. If there be any that the Father draws to the Son to be saved, it will be those whom He had given to the Son.

Yes perhaps those who will be saved, not those who will not.

The Father had not given all mankind to the Son to be saved, right?

Men are drawn by the Holy Spirit unto salvation...and in this, they are enabled to make a choice.

If they make a choice in favour of Christ, then God the Father gives them to Christ.

That is what you teach but I don’t see scriptures teaching that. Please show scriptures which teach that.

John 1:12 does not say that "To them who became the children of God, them He gave the power to receive Him."

It is placed in the opposite order.

First you receive Him, and then you are given the right to become a child of God.

Thats the Church, the Sheep.
Sorry, the Word says the whole world....everyone from Adam to the last person born at the end of the millenium....everyone who wills. HE paid the price, but does not force salvation on anyone. We still have to accept it...embrace Him. Some have and will refuse to. Refusal does not mean the price was not paid...it means it was refused.
