What the Russian Military have done to date...

Let me put this into perspective-it took the "mighty" U.S. military machine 3 weeks to capture Baghdad while having air supremacy and facing a demoralized, ragtag Iraqi Army. Boy, we pushed out our chests over beating up those little kids.

Consider what Russia has done. They have seized territory greater than the size of the United Kingdom. The Russians did that in less than three weeks. They have now surrounded Kharkiv and Kiev. They have cut off what remains of the Ukrainian Army in the eastern half of the country and are destroying them. The Ukrainian Army no longer has the capacity to function as a modern Army. Those Ukrainians who chose to continue fighting will do so as insurgents or guerrillas.

Russia has decimated the Ukrainian Air Force and its ground-based radars and its combat airfields. Russia is now in de facto control of Mariupol (a key Black Sea port) and is moving on Odessa.

During a speech that was broadcast live on Russian television, the Kremlin frontman also slammed Russian oligarchs fleeing to Israel as a “fifth column” of “national traitors” who see themselves as a “superior race” and “cannot make do without foie gras, oysters or gender freedom as they call it.”

“Any nation, and even more so the Russian people, will always be able to distinguish true patriots from scum and traitors and will simply spit them out like an insect in their mouth, spit them onto the pavement,” Putin ranted.

“I want ordinary Western people hear me, too,” Putin said. “You are being persistently told that your current difficulties are the result of Russia’s hostile actions and that you have to pay for the efforts to counter the alleged Russian threat from your own pockets. All of that is a lie.”

The United States may see another rise in coronavirus cases, Dr. Anthony Fauci said, as he also predicted there will be a need for people to get a fourth dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

Fauci, President Joe Biden's chief medical adviser, briefed House Democrats and spoke with Bloomberg on Thursday, the same day President Joe Biden announced that Jeff Zients would step aside as COVID-19 response coordinator and be replaced by Dr. Ashish Jha, the dean of Brown University’s School of Public Health.

“I would predict that we are going to see a bit of an increase, or at least a flattening out and plateauing of the diminution of cases. And the question is, how do we deal with that?" Fauci told the news outlet.

Fauci cited three factors attributed to fueling a rise in cases in Europe and the United Kingdom that can already be seen in the United States: the BA.2 "stealth" subvariant of omicron, loosened restrictions, and diminishing protection from the vaccines already administered.

As the number of cases in the U.S. has dropped significantly over the past several weeks, states and cities have continued to lift mask and vaccine mandates, among other restrictions and guidance.

"Sooner or later, we will need a fourth," Fauci said about a second booster shot to lawmakers. The outlet noted he said this may only apply to the elderly and people with underlying conditions, at first.

Within the past 14 days, there has been a 43% decrease in cases and a 31% decrease in deaths.

“It’s really in a transition stage. We are obviously going in the right direction,” Fauci said. “We have to be really careful and not declare total victory prematurely. I do believe we will be able to settle into a degree of normality.”

The Biden administration has asked Congress for $22.5 billion in COVID-19 funding, without which the U.S. would slide into an "almost unconscionable" situation in which "a lot of things are going to stop," Fauci said. "It really will be a very serious situation."

I don't see anything coming out of Ukraine or Russia except for Tik Tok videos and You Tube selfies.
I remember the War on Terror in Iraq. Rumsfeld, Cheney, my memory bytes are running low.. Rice..
And they would come out with actual footage (or so it appeared) as drone attacks and surveillence footage.
None of that here. just Tik Tok videos and FB selfies. People who put signs on their jackets that say press.

That would be very close to 2 billion deaths. If we can believe the number for worldwide covid deaths, or “beasts of the earth”, 6 million, it’s a drop in the bucket compared to 2 billion. It seems there would only be one way to reach 2 billion deaths and that is nuclear world war, which we are teetering on the brink of right now.
