You have the bible, If to you, what is alive,His word which is Spirit is no less than that of the pages of a book, than that is your choosing to reduce God to wood. You know what Idols are made of.

It grieves any believer to hear some one denigrating God's word.

Your idol is your imagination and delusions which you exalt above Gods clear revelation and history. God could have given us His views and opinions but this would not work. It needed to be a perfect gift expressed in a human flawed way, so both grace, love and law could be seen side by side.

This is it's authority and strength, vast and yet specific, alive and yet accessible. God bless you

Yes this forum is filled with people doing just that, taking that what is spirit and making it less than wood. Making the creator of all things less than mens words written in a book, taking that what is life and making it dead, as Jesus put it in your bible,

Joh_5:40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

For to do that, you would have to give up your idol.

Can you imagine me giving up Christ , or God or the Holy Spirit for a book, oh the devil would be delighted. Can you imagine replacing your wife with a paperback, how do you think she might feel.

Is it your revelation that is telling you to ignore scripture? Then your revelation is not of God.

Funnily he lied so continuously it appears his intention was to mix marxism with religion and create a transformative new faith with himself at the centre.

There is a reason we listen to scripture and its foundations, so false teachers, liars, charlatans do not take us captive with their dreams of other worlds and do not stay true to Christ and the cross. God bless you

God describes this very process of false prophets

How can they give you the honour Jesus when they made the bible greater than you.

I wish I could understand your logic, but then I would have to experience the visions etc you have, which obviously I cannot.
And this is always the problem with a faith based on personal ecstatic experience. Each individual has their own, it cannot be shared. So if the Lord gave me an experience, I would forever be comparing my experience to others.

I could not even say we went to the same place or saw the same things. One thing you take for granted when going to see the grand canyon, you can stand there with someone else and point to what is before you, take pictures etc.

So with the best will in the world unless the experience comes back with something to share, it will always be just individual.
Ironically I cannot even say this is of God or not, except throwing out scripture 100% decries it as not of God.
