John included himself at least 10 times!
So. You nor I are John.
Unconfessed sin may be unforgiven sin!How is that accusing you? It isn't! But YOU just falsely accused me. You sure you never sin?

You said you NEVER sin!
I will respond to my quote, not you speaking for me,
Why do you preach OSAS?
Because receipt of Salvation is Permanent.
O sinless one!
Here is your claim TO me About me.
False accuser.

I have never said I HAVE NO SIN…and why you could not quote me saying that.

Won’t speak FOR you as you (and@ Jack) attempt to speak for me.

I have never claimed to have no sin.
I have never claimed to be sinless.

I, having done the Will of God…had my sin Forgiven and Covered, that even God sees my sin no more.
If ya’all are still sinning, ya’ll will reap the consequences thereof same as I reap the Consequences for sinning NO more.
It seems you're aiming to square 1 Jn 3:9 with 1 John 1:8.

Again, 1 Jn 3:9 doesn't say Christians don't sin, and 1 Jn 2:1 says Christians have an Advocate with the Father in case they sin (meaning they sin) : your view of 1 Jn 3:9 is an abuse of the text.

John already admitted Christians sin, so they have an Advocate, so enough of saying "When I sin, it's not my spirit, it's just my flesh."
How many sins can your body commit after your spirit leaves? None. Thus your spirit is sinning when you sin ("Purge yourselves of all that defiles body and spirit")--in fact, there is no such thing as a sin that doesn't involve your spirit because sin is spiritual bondage/slavery. There is nothing else "sin" could be BUT your spirit being forced to labor (whereas Christ says, "you will find rest for your soul" with Him).

Irrelevant, off point.
1 John 3:9 doesn’t mention Christians.

and 1 Jn 2:1 says Christians have an Advocate with the Father in case they sin (meaning they sin) :
1 John 2:1 says Jesus Christ IS the Advocate “for Sinners”.
Obviously you do NOT comprehend Scripture.
An Advocate SPEAKS to the Judge on BEHALF of the “accused”.
Our American Justice System Operates in the Same Fashion as Scripture.
The Accused…does Not Speak directly to the Judge.
The Advocate (Attorney) speaks to the Judge on behalf of the Accused.
It has Nothing to do with …”in case” a man SINS….
”Every Human man IS Naturally born IN Sin and Commits Sin”!!!

1 John 1:8 (that YOU brought up), Applies to a man who Neither believes he was born in sin OR EVER committed Sin!!!!

Regarding myself, I have NEVER said or implied such a claim.

You are the one Who IS gaslighting, Underhandedly, Falsely, Trying to MAKE that claim For me!

While @ Jack (and I presume you) …have entered the Narrow gate…walking TOWARD God…tripping, stumbling, trying to Reach God…you are Continually Calling on Jesus Christ to Help you, Advocate to God FOR YOU, how sorry you are for stumbling and Sinning AGAINST God.
That is YOUR prerogative, to keep stumbling and ASK the Advocate Jesus Christ to help you.

Obviously You (and @Jack) are painfully unaware, of the Purpose of an Advocate…
IS TO WALK WITH you, “PREPARE You” TO ACCOMPLISH the Goal of Getting you TO “The Judge,”… Spiritually “TO God”…”So you CAN Directly Speak To (the Judge) God… yourself!!!

That’s great you and @Jack are still stumbling down the “narrow” path….and for you and @Jack to encourage others to enter the Narrow gate, Trust Jesus Christ will Advocate FOR them as “They…Like you”…stumble Trying to Reach ….God.

However…since you and @Jack Have NOT Reached God, and are still Actively Sinning Against God, still Asking the Advocate For continual Forgiveness…
You nor @Jack ARE hardly qualified to be Dictating what does and does not Apply To Other People WHO HAVE accomplished their Journey AND Have been Granted The goal, the prize, The Gift of Direct Communication with God!!!
“Their Advocate Jesus Christ” succeeded in Getting THEM To The Finish Line”! The mark, whereby, The Power of God IN them, they Can no longer Trip, stumble, and SIN AGAINST God.

It appears quite Obvious, you and @Jack are oblivious there IS a goal, a prize, a gift for reaching the line, the mark…God.

your view of 1 Jn 3:9 is an abuse of the text.

1John 3: IS Expressly applicable to and for the Few who Have reached the finish line / mark.

Since you and @Jack have Not reached the Finish line…you are Not “whosoever” in 1 John 3:9…. It is not speaking TO you or @Jack…rather IS speaking to those who have reached the mark and possesses the prize!

1 John 3:
[9] Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

You and @Jack keep traveling down the Narrow path, sinning Against God, in HOPES you reach the finish line….and stop Pretending you have the authority to dictate to those WHO Have Accomplished their Journey…and possess their prize!!
We WHO ARE “born of God, ARE ( not sinless…not Sinning AGAINST God )….
Rather WE who “ARE” born of God…“ARE” forgiven and cleansed of ALL unrighteousness, and Can Sin no more”.

Phil 3:
[14] I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

John already admitted Christians sin, so they have an Advocate, so enough of saying "When I sin, it's not my spirit, it's just my flesh."

Christians this Christians that…No, Christian is Not the highlight of Scripture.

Regardless of religious organization affiliation, gender, race, age…Scripture is About…all individuals, and Do they Believe in the Lord God Almighty….or Live IN Sin because they DO not Believe.

Men ONLY Sin Against The Lord God, and ONLY the Lord God Forgives Sin.

Poor ‘ole @Jack..thought I was sinning “against him”….lol, AS if…

Agree. Meaningful conversations are best kept between those whose Distance and Understanding is Comparable.

Satan loves OSAS!
Satan hates OSAS, his worst nightmare is knowing that he can't rob a saved person of their salvation.

Jesus taught OSAS, but all those who hate the truth deny it. Jesus said;

John 6:39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.

Jesus said He wouldn't lose any of the Elect, but you believe what Satan says, good luck with your master Satan o_O

It's the 'bottom line' that matters.
So, according to your private opinion, you just need to be lucky enough to die while your in the saved state. Heavens forbid, you die while your in the unsaved state
It sounds like the only way to be sure of your salvation in your religion is to commit suicide while you're in the saved mode,. How pathetic

OSAS, is not the Narrow way of Jesus.

Matthew 7:13-14
13 Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.
14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
Do you really believe that God plays this sick and cruel, hide and seek game with salvation, where He only rewards those wise guys who find the narrow gate.

Spare a thought for the poor babes and foolish people of the world, they don't stand a chance in that cruel game. Thank God, He is nothing like the monster you make Him out to be.

I believe in God of the Bible Who said, "FEW there be who find it"!

Are you referring to God of the Bible Who drowned all but 8 on Earth, and burned Sodom alive, "making them an example"? Are you really calling Him a monster?

Ephesians 2:8 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Philippians 1:6 - Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Jude 1:24 - Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

John 5:24 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

John 10:27-29 - My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

John 6:37 - All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

John 10:28 - And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Could you please explain where your ability to keep yourself saved fits into what God's Word teaches us about salvation.

I never found that part you're referring to, where God only rewards the wise guys who find the narrow gate. You haven't said anything about why these "FEW" find it and why the rest of the billions who were drowned and burned never could find it.

The God of the Bible is not a monster, but you Arminians make Him a monster because you can't stand the fact that He chose to save some and leave others dead in their trespasses and sin.

I don't know why God chose to save me, before He created the world. All I do know is that He never revealed His private business to fallen man. I'm just eternally grateful that He chose to save me. so your problem is not with me, but it's with Gods Sovereignty, over all things including who is saved and who is left in their condemned state.

Ephesians 1:4
just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love

2 Thessalonians 2:13
But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.

2 Timothy 1:9
who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,

Please show me where your choice, wisdom and ability to save yourself and keep ypourself saved fits in with the above verses of Gods Word.

You say you believe in Jesus, yet you accuse Him of being a liar when He exposes your heretical religious view.
I never said nor implied that Jesus is a liar.
Ephesians 2:8 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Philippians 1:6 - Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

John 10:28 - And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
Amen! All of that is true. But OSAS isn't.
Could you please explain where your ability to keep yourself saved fits into what God's Word teaches us about salvation.
Sure I will. Jesus said "STRIVE to enter in"!
