The person to whom the gifts were given, got rid of them for whatever reason. They can be taken back again, and if that were to happen the giver would be delighted, otherwise we remain separated eternally from the gift of eternal life with the giver.

To those who take the time to read this long drawn out battle... between Grace and Legalism... I encourage you to really look at the FRUITS that come out of both teachings.... there are fruits on both sides of this coin... some are SWEET SMELLING ( the flowers of Grace ) and some are SOUR to the point of being rotten. ( the weeds of legalism ).
GRACE sets the sinner FREE to LIVE and get to know God... as you are (broken...confused... feeling dirty... guilty... filled with shame... filled with addictions... angry... disappointed ).... Bring it all before HIM....and HE will deal with it... He will remove it from you... and HE WILL HEAL YOU. We are ALL works in progress....
RUN AWAY from any Christian who dares to judge you and damn you for your sin. Tell them JESUS has it covered.
HE ( God Almighty ) promises to finish within you... what HE has begun... That is a promise... something to believe in...
Focus on JESUS.... on HIS beauty... HIS goodness... HIS righteousness.... The more you focus on JESUS... the closer you will become to HIM.... Sin will begin to FALL off of you.... Do not focus on what you are not or cannot do just yet....FOCUS on HIM. HE will teach you... I can't stress enough how important WORSHIP is... Worship is coming before God and giving HIM THANKS and PRAISE... for WHO HE IS.... It is coming before HIM... as you are... with the DECLARATION that HE IS GOOD... and only HE is WORTHY TO BE PRAISED.... That makes God really happy... like really really happy... LOL
God is not mad at us... He is not in a bad mood... He is not interested in us BEING GOOD and DOING GOOD... to keep ourselves SAVED... for one thing... it doesn't work... and for another... it's simply NOT TRUE... GOD is the one who KEEPS us saved... and what HE requires from us is our LOVE.... It is a personal relationship He desires... GRACE brings forth LIFE... and LEGALISM brings forth DEATH.
O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth will declare Your praise. 16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; You take no pleasure in burnt offerings. 17The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.

It is not legalism, it is God's wonderful grace that is offered to the not-so-wonderful, self-opinionated, cherry picking sinner, who fails to heed the warnings about falling away, never to return. Those scriptures are there as a warning. God's grace does not bind us in chains. That is not what grace means.

On-Going, inexcusable ignorance in regard to Hebrews 6 and 10 has cancelled out hundreds of verses that provide assurance and the importance of Grace in the lives Of Believers.....Confused, stiff- necked “ Believers” ship- wreck their Own Faith and are damned and determined to destroy the Assurance Of others...wise students, those who “ Rightly Divide” the Word Of God know better and Cling to the only thing that ever Saved anybody that “ became” Saved—— Grace.
As an Osaser when I came to understand how I seen through a box I found out that I was really the one that was a legalist....
Because it was something I had to believe[that you once saved always saved] which is something you "do".
The truth Is: the foundation is who we Trust...
"Jesus"....for it is In Him we find everything we need including forgiveness of sin.
Many do not understand that although what He did was equally important, The foundation is Jesus. Anotherwords the death, burial, and resurrection, and Miracles and Him being seen and His place now....that was shown and thereby preached so that you would believe who He is with the intent to follow.
For in Him there is forgiveness of Sin...
And one is born from above with Real life because they believe First Who He is....with the intent to act. (Isn't that God in us?)
So before one is Justified they must have first received life (the Spirit) through the hearing and believing....... That means the Spirit must be in the person....
Read all of Acts 8
12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
When He went to the water what was He doing? Was He making a committment to follow?
Therefore regeneration, being born from above with New Life comes before Justification.
One must understand that when it states having been Justified by faith...it is speaking from the point of view of those who have trusted Jesus with the intent to follow...
So read Gal 2:16 now...to see if the passage can open your eyes
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified."
There it is......They believed in Jesus Christ [foundation the Rock of our Salvation]
Now there are many ways to see this, this is one eay I see this passage: First what was the Faith of Jesus? Well He obeyed the father, He said He always did what was pleasing to the father and therefore the father never left Him alone... Philippians 2:8 and John 8:29
So can we see this? The Father showed His work through the Son, when the Son obeyed Him.
***And we obey the Father when we believe who Jesus is by the work the father did through the son.
Jesus learned obedience through the things He suffered....To me that means He learned to depend on the Father as the father was with Him in everything.
Therefore Jesus did not believe the father with the intent not to act...For when we see Jesus's Faith it is not merely mental it is in deed too.....and this is the Faith that works by Love, God being by our side.
Now To verify this (***)go back to the passage where Mosis lifts up the snake....those who looked upon it would live.
And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
So then the faith of Jesus is a faith that will act..They had to believe Mosis words From God and If they were dying from being bit, they had to look upon it to Live....
So to summarize, it is not the hearer of the Law that is Justified by God; but the doer...
And the doer in this sense is not a legalist...because He does not keep the law by trying to keep the Law in His natural ability. He upholds the law because of who He believes, received the Spirit and is led by.l
So we too obey/believe the father when we look to His son to depend on.

Because salvation comes by who we trust not what we try to do on our natural abilities without having received life from the above and the Spirit to direct us to stay on the path of righteousness.

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
This here is evidence that what we do, is because what we have received by faith....

My note this morning was for the new believer... I have not once tagged you that I can think of... but you insist on answering my posts... so...I don't know what I can say... we have had this discussion already. I pick and choose who I read and don't read... that is the beauty of forums.
and surely you understand that the BBQ is NOT really a thing...It's called HUMOUR!
