Working for 8 hours outside in the single digit(Fahrenheit)cold...no escape into someplace warm....you really need to spend the money on good clothes.

This is an area I don't mind spending money on quality clothing with a good purpose. I don't enjoy spending money, but when I do, it needs to serve a good purpose and not be frivolous. Some good Carhartt clothing or similar brands that will last years on a farm or homestead is a wise choice.

To me, spending money on clothes just for looks and status is frivolous and unwise. I like to look nice and modest, yet feminine ....but that can be done within a budget.

There are now much better work pants than jeans. Lighteweight, breathable, soft, stretchy nylon that dries quickly with more pockets and zippers. Try Men's Work Pants & Shorts

Nothing like those YouTube preaching couples that wear extremely expensive clothing to look outdoorsy or relaxed....
A $400 T-shirt? It's just a freaking T-shirt....but they make some that sell for that much.

My favorite was this lady on YouTube showcasing her "Homesteading" lifestyle where they have a huge garden and raise horses....but she shows how she cooks and preserves food in her kitchen. Her "modest" stove that looks old timey has a retail cost of $38,000.

And I thought that I was buying luxury when I spent $2,000 for a gas convection stove. (I cook constantly for ourselves and others daily...recovering chef who has problems with the first step)

A used bread oven for commercial bakeries I spent $60,000 on but it held 16 18"×26" sheetpans....sealed chambers with steam generators and injectors and 3 zone heating for each stone hearth deck.

Her oven wouldn't hold one sheet pan.

In the United States, its no longer common, except for the bride during weddings. I still wear head coverings for prayer and worship settings. I only started doing this a few years ago.

Where that's a fairly common thing in Moldovan culture....it's extremely uncommon in the USA. (Except for Muslims)
In fact hair styling, color, and cut are usually very much a significant part of a daily routine for women here....especially the single women.

The braids and braiding aren't as popular here as there. Almost a lost art here. Guys love it when women have those intricate braids for their long hair and other women are usually envious....but women aren't doing it as it usually requires someone else to do it for them.

Braids are indeed very popular here. Long hair is the norm, especially for young women. I personally wear a headscarf most of the day and all the time in public. I feel naked without one.

I visited next door in Slovakia....
That's how I know what I know.

Church membership and Baptism have no real requirements in the USA like they do there....the effects of the iron curtain still are around there.

It was a real pleasure to visit Slovakia for me. And I kept looking for Streudel but had a difficult time finding any. Poppyseed and apple strudel was supposed to be a thing there and our guides were saying that it should be everywhere....but when we went to the square it was nowhere to be found. Nobody had any for sale. Finally we had fancy dinner at a castle and I got some there.
I really fell in love with the brown bread and sausages....they were over the top better than anything we have in America.

I have always been modest, wether it’s to do with my grandfather who tried to sexually abuse me a child, I’m not sure...is there such a thing as being over modest not sure.

I wouldn’t say that I dress modestly though...I don’t dress like a hooker either. I wouldn’t have my cleavage showing I hate that..I’ve been told many times that I look sophisticated when dressed...my mother looked the same, my Sons imo look very distinguished/ well groomed, their hair like mine always looks immaculate.

Righteous women repent and love the Lord. They do good, and abstain from evil.

Wicked people won't repent and don't care.

It brings me to epistle John, chapter 2.

Talks about difference between Christian sinners and habitual sinners.

The wicked are habitual sinners. They wont repent and, and do evil.

There's a classification here.

One group follows Jesus.

Other group follows satan.

We can't serve two masters at same time.

I would say…God absolutely DOES look into a mans heart for that mans Truth…
(Gods IS Spirit…which IS all encompassing Truth…
Man HAS a spirit…which IS the Truth in his Heart.)

I would say….manKIND is naturally A VISUAL creature…and without doubt attracted to and enamored by the Beauty of Naturally Beautiful women. By default of their Beauty they naturally capture the (wanted and unwanted) attention of “men, women…AND corrupted angels”.

It is NOT secret…plain, not so attractive women CAN and DO by means of makeup, hair styling, false additives, risqué’ clothing, CAN and DO attract the attention of men…
And … including unwanted attention of some men, women….AND corrupted angels”.

Loose, drunken, over the top women Project a desperation for attention…From anyone.
Fact is they might just get what another is craving and willing to take advantage of a pivotal circumstantial moment any time, any place.

Of course, the mantra is…they do not deserve “unwanted” advances…
However the fact IS…manKIND is a VISUAL creature…
If a woman is visually advertising…she runs the risk of unwanted advances from anyone responding to her advertising.

There is an attractiveness of a woman to blend in, side by side with other woman…
A touch of makeup, A neat hair, A garment that properly fits covering her flesh, particularly body parts that should only be seen by her spouse.

The fact IS…the FLESH is sinful…
A woman can Cover her Flesh modestly…or bare her sin for all to plainly see…and risk whatever consequences that may entice another, whom by the way, ALSO has sinful flesh.

Regarding women’s attire…particularly women in the spotlight view supposedly representing our Lord and Savior…

Is disturbing…

Matt 6:
[25] Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

It certainly appears some women take extreme thoughts as to what they shall wear with their erotic low cut dresses and so form fitting it seems to fall somewhere between being painted on them or sewn in place…

Really? What is their intent to stand before the congregation? To be a lustful temptation and participant in the minds of men she stands before? Very strange.

[28] But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

And (some) women IN the congregation….
Ya…well church is not a fashion runway or entertainment venue…all about me, me, me…

Temple…Church…was established as a House of Prayer, for humble servants to praise, worship and glorify God…

Sad sign of the times? :-(

I used to wonder if that made me less modest. But now I just think modesty is attractive and trying to be unattractive is a fools errand for women. You can unnattract some men...but not all of them.

Modesty is attractive to certain men. It is the quality of a godly woman, or one of them at least. Dressing married is attractive because it helps identify who you are and it feels attractive to you because you know it's attractive to God and what He wants for you.

I guess lots of men go to church in search of a good girl. And I'm sure that many women try to find a man in church. But men know in an instant, that one is not wife material, that one isnt either. I'm sure you see those ones in church. They dress shamely. They get into looking for a man mode and overdo it getting ready for church. They show up almost dressed for the club instead of church.

That ones wife material, you can tell by how she dresses. (I bet she's married already lol) I'm gonna walk by her and look for her ring...

So dont forget wear your ring to church!

Its sad too that some of the women have evil intentions and some simply feel so insecure they think they have to be sensual to look good.
