I only indicated that I questioned your approach to this topic by using Daniel to support your pretrib view since I feel certain that the rapture isn't even referenced in Daniel. So what if I question your approach? Do you think the rapture is mentioned in Daniel? If so, tell me where. Why get bent out of shape about that? So you and I have differing beliefs, ok. Maybe you denounce it now because it is not something that you ever learned completely for yourself? But I would caution you that denouncing others beliefs is probably some sort of mistake. Probably not life threatening but still a mistake. So to denounce pretribbers is like the hand putting the foot down because it is a darn foot and not the hand! I can sense a wrongness in it.

And you should be careful, because you sound an awful lot like those smart mouth amils at times and I'm just sayin, it dont look good on you Brother! God bless you and bring you much wisdom.

You already knew before making the offer to exegete Daniel that I don't believe it teaches a pretrib rapture, so what changed just because I confirmed that again? You were willing to do that while already knowing I don't believe it's taught there and I even said that despite my doubts about it, I would go through it with you if you exegeted it. So, what is the problem? You can't expect me to not have doubts that a pretrib rapture is taught there. You already knew that before offering to go through it, right? So, why did you offer to do that then, but not now even though nothing has really changed?

Seems like you made an insincere offer for whatever reason. I have nothing against taking a closer look at the book of Daniel. I simply indicated something you already knew which is that I have doubts that we can find a pretrib rapture taught there. So what? You already knew that.

It can be helpful to at last have a better understanding of why we each believe what we do. Have you noticed how many times people misrepresent other's views on here? That's because people don't bother to find out exactly why people believe what they do, so they just make assumptions about it.

Do you think I don't do that? I most certainly do and have been for many years. I believe we can't hope to understand these things we talk about without being given insight by the Holy Spirit because they are among the deeper things of God that Paul wrote about in 1 Corinthians 2:9-16 that he said we can only discern through the Holy Spirit.

I tell people all the time to ask God for wisdom and I quote James 1:5-7. Don't forget to quote verses 6 and 7, though. If you ask God for wisdom, but have doubts, then it won't be given to you.
