Either you follow God's instructions in His Word, or you rebel against them
We can only follow God if we have the Spirit...I’m not saying you don’t have the Spirit.

I’d just like to know from you what that means?

Would you say the Holy Spirit leads you through scripture as it’s the Spiritual word of God?

So you believe the scripture references below are... lies then?

Either you follow God's instructions in His Word, or you rebel against them... which is it?

1 John 3:6
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not

1 John 2:4
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

1 John 1:6
if we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

1 John 2:1
I write these things unto you, that ye sin not

Galatians 5:16
Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh

James 4:17
Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

1 John 3:8
He that committeth sin is of the devil

John 8:34
Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

1 Corinthians 15:34
Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

No sin equals perfection. Now go back and apply this appropriately.

You claiming “FOR OTHERS” they HAVE NO SIN”, does NOT apply to me to “MAKE” any correction.

Take your own advice and “SHOW EVIDENCE” of anyone claiming “they HAVE no sin”, then appropriately address “THEM”.

Sin is lawlessness. 1 John 3:4. Those are sins unto DEATH. No sin is righteousness, not perfection. Both righteous and holiness that is mature in the fruit of the Spirit is PERFECTION. 2 Peter 1:2-11.

That’s not what the scripture says… Why dont you try actually reading.

1 John 3:9

You’re not even smart enough to know when you’re sinning!

Isaiah 55:8
James Bible
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD

Ignorance is bliss! And your corruption of the word of God is appalling. You are a prime example of someone who has not studied the word, and take one scripture and make a doctrine out of it.

Simply put you do not know what you’re talking about, and that is why you will not address this word ποιεῖ
1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Matthew 7:19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”

What is your point of repeating that over and over and over to people who have SAID no such thing?

If you truly believe that once a person is born again, they sin no more, you have missed the whole point of repentance.

Actually the evidence points to you rejecting Gods word.
You are desperately trying to MAKE “born again” about “repentance”, WHEN the act of “repentance” come BEFORE becoming MADE “born again”.
The act of becoming MADE “born again” is about the Works of God, MAKING that man “SANCTIFIED”, according to Gods Order and Way.

God Accepts a mans true heartful repentance.

God Accepts a mans true word to lay down his bodily LIFE unto and for the Lord God.

God Accepts a mans true word to acquiesce his WHOLE, body, soul, spirit to the authority and power of the Lord God Almighty.

Rom 10:
[14] For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

What ONE man DOES, to establish a ONE on ONE relationship between the Lord God and that ONE men, has NOTHING to DO with Greek Speak, You, Your Beliefs, Your Opinions, Your Understanding…

I don’t know who you think you are, but disciples, apostles, men ordained by the Lord Himself told us we need to die daily, we need to repent and that we will never be sinless..

Then you come along telling people they don’t need to repent because once they are saved and born again they sin no more.

I don’t know when you were “born again” but if you expect me to believe you have not committed one sin since you were saved, you’re crazy!

And the Bible says you are a liar!!!!

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”

I agree… However the subject being discussed is……

Is it possible not to sin anymore?

Being born again does not mean a person will not sin. It only means they will try not to sin, because sin separates a person from God.

The idea that a person can claim they have overcome sin is to say they no longer need Christ.

I’m sorry; but this is one of most ridiculous threads I have ever encountered…

The idea we have filthy rag, sinful, lying, flesh people walking around saying they no longer sin is blasphemous…

For all you people that believe you no longer sin… fine!! Don’t repent! Wait til judgment day, and you will be weeping.

Do you have something to hide? Please stay focused if you are able.

I ask again. When was the last time you told a lie?

No living human man KNOWS ALL things.
All living human men LIE.
A LIE is a NON-TRUTH.

All day long men make statements “AS a TRUE Fact”….when what they say is “a guess, an opinion, a deflection, a half truth, etc.”

So what is your POINT? What IF a man has LIED? What about it?

No, to say that Jesus did not take away our sin is what is blasphemous. 1 John 3:5; John 8:34-36

What you need to do is find out what John means.

Being born again does not mean a person will not sin.

Your claim IS NOT according to Scripture.

1 John 3:
[9] Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

It only means they will try not to sin, because sin separates a person from God.

Scripture DOES NOT SAY, the individual “TRYING” not to sin, is the meaning of Gods SEED IN a man.

The idea that a person can claim they have overcome sin is to say they no longer need Christ.

Who is this mysterious individual, in your claim, who has “claimed” “THEY OVERCAME SIN” ?
And why are you using some irrelevant baseless claim as your disagreement with men who have MADE NO SUCH claim?

Fact IS…an individual IS either WITH God or AGAINST God….
there is no “WITH God, but continue to be AGAINST God, there is no but, but, but TRYING to NOT be AGAINST God, while claiming to be WITH God.

Matt 12
[30 a ] He that is not with me is against me;

Luke.11
[23 a] He that is not with me is against me:

Your “speaking for others, what they did not say” and your “but, but, but, premise”, is man-made gobbledygook….and Irrelevant.

I’m sorry; but this is one of most ridiculous threads I have ever encountered…

You could clear up MUCH of the ridiculousness … BY YOU not “SPEAKING” “FOR” God …. “FOR” men.

The idea we have filthy rag, sinful, lying, flesh people walking around saying they no longer sin is blasphemous…

“WE”? You obviously are NOT speaking FOR people you disagree with.

A person CONVERTED “IN” Christ….
Is SEEN by those “OF” the World, as beautiful, handsome, ugly, grubby, filthy rags….

However A person CONVERTED “IN” Christ…
Is SEEN by God, SEEN by the Converted, ( as NOT “OF” the World, ) AND are SEEN as DEAD BODY’S, Their SOUL RESTORED, Their SPIRIT QUICKENED, THEY Living “IN” Christ Jesus” RISEN BODY…and THEIR DEAD BODY, by the authority and power of God, CLEANSED, WASHED in the BLOOD of the Lamb, and SANCTIFIED (set apart), TO BE RISEN UP in it’s OWN “SINLESS” Body…
(ie . Remember that little thingy, Crucified WITH Christ?
Remember that little thingy, “IN” Christ?)

You failing to UNDERSTAND “Gods IDEA”, “Gods OFFERING”, “Gods WORKS”… has nothing to do with men who have Accepted Gods Offering, who Understands God “idea”, and whom Gods Works in them IS according to God, acceptable to. God, NOT your approval.

For all you people that believe you no longer sin… fine!! Don’t repent! Wait til judgment day, and you will be weeping.

For ANY MAN Converted IN Christ…DUH, has already REPENTED!

And IF you believe, A Converted man, occupying Christ Jesus’ Risen Body, CAN SIN…you are essentially believing that which is IN Christ, CAN SIN…

You are trying to MAKE “spiritual things” conform to “natural things”.
Whereas God has OFFERED to MAKE “natural things” conform to “spiritual things”.

Not a-big secret, ALL of manKIND begins “natural”….and Gods Teaching and Revealing and Offering is HOW a natural manKIND of creature can BECOME MADE, a WHOLE…(body, soul, spirit)….SPIRITUAL manKIND of creature.

Your preaching IS accusatory based on things you claim others have SAID, when you can not identify one person saying what you have said FOR them. :-(

I have the Holy Ghost so consequently I don't need to trust in satanic search engine results!

If you feel like you are supposed to sin every day and you cannot hep but to sin everyday, then that's what you'll do.

God told me to Awake to righteousness, and sin not (1 Corinthians 15:34) cool1.gif

No, to say that Jesus did not take away our sin is what is blasphemous. 1 John 3:5; John 8:34-36

What you need to do is find out what John means.

Because of God's warnings . . . We know it doesn't mean that it's not possible to sin, or even that it's not possible to backslide and turn away from the Lord and end up going to hell after being born again.

1 Timothy 4:1,2
Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron

("depart from the faith" is not referring to sinners in the world who never came to faith in the first place)

2 Timothy 4:3,4
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine (teaching); but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

2 Peter 2:1-3
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying (contradicting, Not agreeing with) the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
And through covetousness (idolatry) shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.

Jude 1:17-21
Remember the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
These are those who
separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
But you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

("those who separate themselves" is not referring to sinners in the world who were never joined unto the Lord in the first place)

Acts 20:27-30
For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

I agree; it's called apostasy. It is because we have free will. Paul gave us the command to not quench the Spirit. But if someone is truly begotten of God, apostasy is hard to do. Most obey their Spirit-sensitized conscience. Obedience keeps us calm and happy.

It looks like you study God's word. Good to see, brother.

If you feel like you are supposed to sin every day and you cannot hep but to sin everyday, then that's what you'll do.
That is why Paul told us a fact about being born again and what the Spirit does to our sin nature. We are dead to sin due to the cleansing blood of Jesus - fact.

But we are also to reckon ourselves dead to sin. Paul learned this in the Old Testament Scriptures. Proverbs 23:7 "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he."

It may be for some, but for others it may not be seeing the Lord put numerous warnings in His Word about it.

I've run across lot of folks that just don't think God's warnings really mean anything and claim they are negative

I've found they are very positive as it gives examples of what NOT to do!

The what not to do in scripture is always what the devil is trying to deceive people TO do.

But we are also to reckon ourselves dead to sin. Paul learned this in the Old Testament Scriptures. Proverbs 23:7 "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he."

Yep, dead to sin as in . . . NOT doing sin!

It must be that sketchy calvinist teaching that makes people believe we all sin in word and deed every day! funny.gif
