Femininity in Christ is Something to be Passionate About

I used to date that girl! Me and my brother were playing a game of Monopo;y with my mom at her place and my GF knocked at the door and when she came in she walked over to the monopoly game and swiped all the pieces off the board into her hand and said Tada!! Like she is here now and will be the center of attention. That's the same girl that I left sitting at McDonalds about 2 weeks later...

When I see that woman I always think to myself, whoa, a decent lady watch your mouth...Lol Your right though, it's like an air about them and it never lies. I suppose she could be an evil genius but not normally, lol.

It's even reflected in how the dress and carry themselves. I noticed that these women dont have plunging necklines, nor are they covered in tatoos. Never seen one with pink or blue hair either, lol. (we call those tropical fish, lol). Many girls have one tatoo and no more and speak of it like it was a mistake. That lets us men know that she needs more responsibility in her life, more to do and less idle time to day dream, lol.

She's not in the center of the room when I see them. Usually a doorway! Paying attention with their mouth shut! I've worked for quite a few of those women now that I think about it.

I would like to see more young women gain a heart of compassion, wisdom, and discretion.

I can see parts of myself that have softened and become more feminine.

But Im also kind of bullheaded, even with my husband.

A meek and quiet spirit is one that trusts and is satisfied with the Lord. After all, were not supposed to argue with one another or complain (Philippians Ch 2).

Trials are meant to produce endurance in our faith (James ch 1).

Im thankful that I learned the value of service at home, quiet living, and prioritizing my husband over the opinion of strangers. But when it comes to meekness, I have a long way to go.

Jesus provides rest for our souls. And in accepting that as a woman I am the weaker vessel ---I cannot compete with men and was never meant to---I can live a more restful lifestyle.

Productivity is great but some days of the month I am not as energetic due to the 28 day hormone cycle women have. I can accept this gracefully now because my strength is in the peace, softness, and cheerfulness I bring to the home.

And life got easier when you did that! You can't beat that. Most women only want to complain to men and about men so compete with them as if it is a right thing to do...when the woman was created to be a helper for man, not in competition with them.

I have others I look up to but you know what?

I used to always feel like I should have a group of female friends or a church. I have neither now. But rather than see this as a weakness, Id rather be grateful for the husband and children that I have. I have a good relationship with the Lord. What else do I really need?

The happy woman in Christ is adorned with good works (1 Timothy). She serves and becomes great in doing so (Mark 10:43-45).
