I am not an Arminian. I am a Christian. And I am a non-Calvinist.

It is the Calvinist with the very low view of God. They posit that He has created billions of human beings for the sole purpose of sending them straight to hell.

I don't say that at all. You make up stuff I say just like you make up stuff God says.

I believe what God has said. I certainly don't believe much of what you have said.

You mean like Calvinists do?

Now you see, that has to be just about the stupidest statement. This entire posting is nothing but your view. There is not a single word of God presented.

But you do. That is the key feature of Calvinism. That actually began with Augustine and his Manichaeism influence on Christian theology.

I don't reject that. In fact I firmly believe what he said about that. He said, by Peter through the power of the Holy Spirit, that the elect are chosen according to His foreknowledge. I suspect that you would claim to believe that as well, except the Calvinist is truly ignorant about God's foreknowledge, claiming that it is all the same as predestination. Sheer stupidity.

You cannot post any passage in Scripture that says that man is born dead in trespasses and sin. That you believe that malarky is a part of what you get so wrong. That is a substantial error and leads to innumerable following errors.

That "dead man" you say can do nothing, can breathe, eat, drink, talk, listen, see, read, walk, run, live, love and so much more. Your Calvinism says that God is incapable of communicating with the unregenerate. It says that God is unable to speak and write in any way that the unregenerate can understand, What absolutely total nonsense. What an affront to God.

After Cain killed Able, God said to Cain, "Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it" (Gen 4:6-7). Clearly at that point Cain was dead in his sin of killing Able. Do you really believe that Cain couldn't understand what God said? That is precisely what you imply with your statement that " a dead man can do nothing." Again, absolutely total nonsense.

And here again, you cannot post a single passage of Scripture that says that we are all born hating God and loving our sin.

The simple truth is that God created the entire procreation process whereby mankind (and lall the other animals as well) are born. If it were true that all you say about why and how man is born, then whatever is wrong with that must be laid at God's feet. But of course, almost nothing you say about that is true at all. It is all a man-made nonsensical evil derogation of God, Himself.

I have probably studied as much or more about what Calvin taught than you have.

That is but one more example of the hideous ogre you present God to be. That is such a sick, sick thing to say about God.

The problem here, of course like so much of Calvinism, is the decadent wrongly defined words and phrases. The meaning you give to the sovereignty of God is outright malicious. It is outright malevolence at its worst.
It's funny how you deny being an Arminian, but your theology is pure Arminianism, which is the doctrine of Demons. It's obvious that you're totally ignorant of Gods Word, the Bible because you have come under strong delusion, which God promised to send to those who reject His gospel.

So your in denial about you identity and you are clueless about what Gods Word says. You have denied every single thing that God said, and you replace it with Demonic doctrine instead. Everything I say is paraphrasing Gods Word, I can list all the verses which prove me right and you dead wrong. But I won't waste my time if you don't believe what God said, so far you reject everything that God said. You even claim He never said it, that shows you've never studied the Bible so you're biblically illiterate on top of everything else.

You accuse God of being an evil monster and that's pure blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, for which there is no pardon or possibility of forgiveness. Satan did exactly what you're doing, He asked Eve "has God said", then He done what you do and deny that God said it, He then done what you do and accused God of being evil. So you follow Satan's example to the letter while claiming to be a believer.

All you do is slander, just like Satan but you never provide any counter argument. Anyone can falsely accuse someone of being wrong, while providing no evidence at all. You just say no that's wrong and your God is an evil tyrant, while providing no other alternative to what the scriptures clearly say.

Now lets see how you butcher the verses below, with your Demonic Arminianism.

Ephesians 1:4
just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love

2 Thessalonians 2:13
But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.

2 Timothy 1:9
who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,

Carpet bombing scripture sure isn't the way to discuss.

However, all of the above are correct.
All Christians will agree as to the above verses.

Trouble is.....I don't see one that states that man is UNABLE to come to God on his own.
TO SEEK GOD.
I see no verse that states that GOD MUST SAVE US because we CANNOT SEEK HIM.

All of the following verses state THAT WE ARE TO SEEK GOD.
God COMMANDS that we seek Him.
It is HIS COMMAND.

I underlined a lot of the specific words in the verses,
but then I got tired of it because THERE ARE SO MANY.

Perhaps you could pay attention and believe what the OT and the NT have to say about seeking God
instead of following man-made ideas.

If you don't see that God is saying that He must saves us in those verses, then you're obviously deaf, dumb and blind to God's Word. He said, only His elect hear His voice. The natural man is dead in his trespasses and sin, he can never hear, see r understand anything God says.

You are either willfully ignorant, because you hate the truth or you're spiritual eyes have not been opened yet. You understood certain words but you didn't understand the message of any of them.

I already know what God said about seeking Him. He said, nobody seeks Him because they are all serving sin and Satan. He said all have turned away from Him, so you have been deceived by man made lies and not me.

The problem with all those verses is, they were never spoken to those who are dead in their trespasses and sin. They were all spoken to people who are already born again believers, they were spoken to encourage them to continue in the faith. They were never offered as a seeker friendly message, they were spoken to condemn unbelievers and bless believers.

You should consider the context of verses before you wrongly apply them and try to make them say something they don't. That is to abuse Gods Word and make Him a liar.

You can tell that to the Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.

These are His words through the Apostle John -

If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. John 15:6

Here is how this same John instructs us to remain in Christ.

Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. 1 John 3:24

You are free to choose who to believe; Jesus Christ or John Calvin. The choice is yours.
But you reject what Jesus said and add your false narrative to what He said. Read those verses carefully and show me where Jesus commands the wicked to abide in Him. Right, nowhere so stop pushing this false narrative, it making you look silly.,

I have no trouble with any of those. However, none of them establish the Calvinist doctrine of election. Those are all quite in agreement with 1 Peter 1:1-2.

1Pe 1:1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who are elect exiles of the dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
1Pe 1:2
according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in the sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and for sprinkling with his blood: May grace and peace be multiplied to you.

Now if you just understood the meaning of the foreknowledge of God. But unfortunately, you don't. How do I know that? Because of your Calvinism.

Rom 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
Rom 8:29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.

Rom 8:30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

All of that obtains to those who love God just as Paul says there. Loving God is the precondition for that entire passage and is foreknown. And that runs head on into the false Calvinist doctrine of election.

I know you Arminian's don't believe in Gods sovereignty in all things, or His foreknowledge, or His predestination, or His election to salvation before He created the world, or His omnipresence, or anything supernatural about Him. You have reduced Him to nothing more than a spiritual guru.

You believe that God gained foreknowledge, the same way a witch or a medium see into the future using black magic. You believe that God looked down the corridors of time and saw Johnny helping the old lady cross the road, and He decided that Johnny was a good boy and deserves to enter heaven.
This view is highly insulting to God, it means He sent His Son to suffer and die for nothing and it makes a complete fool out of Jesus.

There are only two kinds of people in this world. Gods children and the Devils children, there are no bastards in Gods family. He doesn't adopt the Devils children, as Arminian theology teaches. You claim the verses are talking about people loving God but God said we ae born His enemies. We continue to hate God forever, if He doesn't save us from our dead state.
You say dead men can walk and talk and that shows you are clueless and ignorant of what God said. You make God a liar, when He said, "on the day that you eat of it, you shall die". Demonic deception tells you Adam did not die but God said he did. So we can see who you trust.

Ephesians 2

1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,

2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,
3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved

You reject Gods Word at your own peril, you didn't even know that was in the Bible, because you accused me of making that up but there it is in your face, proving that we are all born dead.

John 5:10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

And there's another verse to drive a nail into your false Arminian theology. You didn't even know that was in the Bible, but there it is in your face proving that we are all born enemies of God. So now you're exposed for accusing me of lies and it turns out that your the false accuser and liar.

You always pluck unrelated verses out of their intended context, and twist their meaning to support your false doctrine. You have never showed me where Reformed theology is wrong. You just say it is without anything other than your private oppinion to support you. Well I reject your private opinion as utterly foolish and blasphemous.

I know you Arminian's don't believe in Gods sovereignty in all things, or His foreknowledge, or His predestination, or His election to salvation before He created the world, or His omnipresence, or anything supernatural about Him.
You lie ! ! !

I believe in God's sovereignty in all things. I believe in His foreknowledge. I believe in God's predestination decrees. I believe in God's election to salvation. I believe in God's omnipresence. I believe in all of God's divine character traits.

I understand Calvinism. I know some Calvinists who are actually quite good at defending their Calvinism. You are not one of them.
Now you are just being silly.

Not only are you not very good at defending your Calvinist beliefs, but you are also terrible in your attacks against Arminianism. You really have no real knowledge and comprehension of either.

Last time I looked, Jesus was teaching New Testament doctrine.

Do you believe Jesus or not?

Choose this day whom you will serve.
Yes

So he was not teaching law.. So we can not earn salvation by being obedient to his commands.

We obey his commands BECAUSE we are saved. not to stay saved.

Those who preach we must earn salvation by being obedient put us back under the law. and reject grace.

Calvin might disagree.

Lot's of people disagree with the Lord Jesus Christ.

The road to life becomes difficult and people would rather cling to their delusion than change.

Jesus said it this way -

And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. John 3:19-20

You need to be very careful in such declaration. Consider the following:

Rom_10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

2Thess_1:8 dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

1Pet_4:17 For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

Now if, particularly as indicated in 2 Thessalonians 1:8 and 1 Peter 4:17, those who do not obey the gospel will be eternally condemned, then it follows the opposite must be true; namely that those who obey the gospel will receive eternal life. So then similarly there must be a distinction between obeying the law and obeying the gospel. Both speak of "doing something". I could further discuss this issue but won't bother to do that here now.

I would only suggest here that you need to ask yourself what is in the gospel that must be obeyed such that failure to do so will produce eternal condemnation and have you done that.

Actually I am posting the words of Jesus Christ.

He never said He commands the wicked to abide in Him, those are your words not His.

If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. John 15:6

Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. 1 John 3:24

If you disagree with the words of scripture then that is between you and the Lord.

the gospel that must be obeyed is found in John 3, John 4, John 5, John 6. and many other places.

It is not obeying Gods commands.. That is found in the law.

It is doing as Jesus said and becoming bankrupt in spirit. or like the tax collector and falling on your knees.

Anyone who preaches it is our obedience to the commands of God that saves us, are putting themselves and others under law.

Grace is what saved through faith, period.

No one can earn salvation. This is referring to people who are already saved, and are in Christ.

Also, John is not talking about the law of Moses or the commandments of that time.

John says "His commandments".

Jesus is the mediator of the New Covenant.

Therefore we are under the law of Christ, not the law of Moses.

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

His commandments are about love. Keeping His commandments is the very definition of love.

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. 1 John 5:3

As we see, His commandments are not burdensome.

Jesus Christ is about love; Loving God and loving your neighbor.

Here is what the Apostle John instructs us about hate:

Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15

Anyone who preaches it is our obedience to the commands of God that saves us, are putting themselves and others under law.

Grace is what saved through faith, period.
Faith which is believing in God is a requirement. It is something that we must do. It is a condition for being saved. Scripture tells us that there are other things we must do also. For exmaple.

Rom 10:8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim);
Rom 10:9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Rom 10:10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

Again, these are not law requirements, but they certainly are gospel requirements. There are others. Anyone who tells you that you do not have to "do" anything to be saved simply is either lying or simple doesn't know what he is talking about.

No one can earn salvation. This is referring to people who are already saved, and are in Christ.

Yes it is, It is NOT telling them that they can lose salvation if they do not abide.. Are you listening to what I am saying? I feel like I am on repeat..
Also, John is not talking about the law of Moses or the commandments of that time.

John says "His commandments".
It does not matter, we can not earn grace.. We do not earn grace by obeying ANY commandments..
Jesus is the mediator of the New Covenant.
yes, with his blood, not our works.
Therefore we are under the law of Christ, not the law of Moses.
The law of Christ is grace. He did not replace one set of works. which he demands perfect obedience with another set of works, and we do not have to be perfect.

Yes. But he did nto say don;t worry about the law anymore. now obey these commands, and you will be saved.

He is not the author of confusion
Here is what the Apostle John instructs us about hate:

Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15

That means they were never saved. If you are saved, You have eternal life

why do you want to make it mean conditional life..

Look up the word eternal. and life.. You will not find that it can end anywhere

But your not EARNING salvation if you are trusting in someone else.

are you going to boast in self because you stopped. did nothing, and let God save you?

(sadly, I think some people would be arrogant enough to think this, but to those who are sincere. no one would boast in saving themselves because they stopped working and let the one who rescued save them)

No one can earn salvation.
The fact that one cannot earn salvation does not mean that one does not need to do something to receive salvation. The fact that a condition is required to receive a gift does not negate it being a gift. If someone promised to give you a million dollars if you would send him your name and address and include a self-addressed and stamped return envelope would you refuse because you would not consider that it was a gift since there were conditions placed on you?

That salvation cannot be earned comes from the fact that nothing one could ever possibly do that could ever be sufficient in return for salvation. It does not mean that there are no requirements or conditions that must be met in order to receive the gift of salvation.

The News is not reporting on the type of Weapon the shooter used.(that ive seen).
There is no information on where he got the Rifle, and where he learned to shoot.

I find it fascinating, that the young shooter was on the top of a building, that was clearly a known "line of fire", and there was no SS Agent, or Local Swat Team, on that roof.. It was all by itself, in plain sight of the President, and of the SS agents, and Local Authorities., and yet no one was guarding it. .and the boy just climbed up there and almost Killed A former US President., is what we are being told.
How can that happen?

Also, the Math says.......>>"we are going to Kill Trump, 2 days before the RNC "Republican National Convention" will Elect Him as their Nominee.
So, we are going to KILL Him, just before he would have been Nominated, and they will have noone to nominate, and it will just be Republican Chaos.... we are going to cause."""

So, did that 20 yr old boy, plan all that?
Really?
Wrong topic.
