clearly what i wrote wasnt simple enough. Lets see if this is any simpler.
“It should have been clear from reading Ephesians 2:1–7 that the Lord owes us nothing but justice and wrath. (Moreover, this is taught throughout the Bible: Gen. 6:5–7; Deut. 7:6–11; Ps. 51:4; Rom. 1:18–3:20; James 2:10–11). But in case we missed it, Paul in Ephesians 2:8–10 tells us one more time that we bring nothing with us to our redemption, and that any good works we perform are not the ground of our status before God but result from us having been chosen and gifted with salvation: “By grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God” (Eph. 2:8). Grace, by definition, excludes the slightest hint that human merit contributes to our righteous standing before the most holy and perfect Creator, and faith, which admits our inability to help ourselves and rests wholly on another for salvation, confirms that our works have no power to atone for our wickedness. John Calvin writes, “If, on the part of God, it is grace alone, and if we bring nothing but faith, which strips us of all commendations, it follows that salvation does not come from us.”
“faith is something that we exercise, and so some Christians think we bring this to the table when we are saved. They think we work faith up in ourselves and that all people are born with the ability to do so. Ephesians 2:8 makes this view impossible. The grammatical gender of the demonstrative “this” in “this is not your own doing” must refer back to the entire complex of things Paul mentions in the verse — salvation, grace, and faith. It is true that we are the ones who put our faith in Christ, but God gives us this faith and guarantees that we will exercise it unto salvation. If the Holy Spirit changes our hearts, we will not refuse the call to trust in Christ.”

clear enough?? No?? This is where the I in tulip comes in. Irresistible grace. “The doctrine of irresistible grace is quite simple — if God wants us, then He will get us. Though He may allow us to resist His call for a time, if He has chosen to set His grace on us, then we will certainly believe and persevere, for all whom the Father has given to Jesus must come to the Savior (John 6:37). We cannot even give ourselves credit for our faith, so let us be thankful for His grace and live in the way that He commands.”

all those chosen/predestined by God to be saved, WILL be saved. It can be no other way.

Nice hat dance. You take the position scripture usurps scripture and therefore you need do nothing with these...

Luke 13:3I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved...

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

You claim no repentance, no baptism, no water and spirit ... and yet you make it to heaven WITH all your SINS. -Whew!

baptism doesnt save. Repentance is a gift, like what i posted earlier, a gift from God. You cant repent unless God allows you. You keep bringing up these works and you have it wrong.
And yes, we all are sinners, its just the saved/chosen/elect/predestined have been forgiven.

Lifelong sinner misrepresents others t
no, because you are a fraud.
Fine, You are promoting misinformation on here by claiming there are no anti-calvanist baptist churches.
Some of the independent fundamental Baptist churches are against calvinism.

You need to educate yourself on the Baptist religion.

Ronald, is confessing Jesus a physical work?
That is bad grammar and difficult to understand what you mean. I'll give it a shot.
His blood sacrifice transcended from the physical realm into the spiritual, hence it goes beyond the constraints of time and atones for the sins of the world for all time.

Lifelong sinner has mislabeled me a fraud because His Presbyterian church teaches the error of Calvinism.

Why Total depravity i.e. inherited sin of Adam is false doctrine.
We can have faith in God without a miracle first worked on us by receiving Holy Spirit baptism.

God has blessed us with the gift to believe in God.
Everyone has this ability.

If it can be shown that the unsaved are capable of believing and loving God.
Then Calvinism is the false doctrine that I know it is.

The story of Cornelius

Acts 10:1-4, 22
There was a certain man in Ceaserea called Cornelius, a centurion of what was called the Italian regiment,
A devout man and one who feared God with all his household, who gave alms generously to the people and prayed to God always.
About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God coming in and saying to him, Cornelius!
And when he observed him, he was afraid and said "What is it Lord?" So he said to him, "Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God.

Cornelius at this time was UNSAVED.
Why did He not need God to perform a miracle and send the Holy Spirit to give him the ability to believe?
This disproves Calvinisms false doctrine of born in sin, Total depraved nature! Calvinism refuted!

More proof we can have faith without being regenerated.

Acts 10:22
And they said Cornelius the centurion, a just man, one who fears God and has a good reputation among all the nation of the Jews was divinely instructed by a Holy angel to summon you to his house and to hear words from you.

Now remember Cornelius at this point is unsaved. He is a gentile. No gentiles have been saved yet. Only jews.
Cornelius is the first gentile to become a christian. Not looking good for Total depravity, sin nature nonsense.
Next chapter, 14. We will learn Cornelius will be saved by hearing the Gospel of Jesus. Not by direct operation of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 11:14
Who will tell you words by which you and all your household will be saved.

Wow! Proof positive Cornelius was a devout man that feared God BEFORE he was regenerated!

Calvinism refuted. We are not born with a sin nature totally depraved, unable to have Faith in Christ.

Confession is a direct command, Matthew 10:32-33.
When we obey Gods commandments, we are working the works of God, John 6:28-29.

Romans 10:9-10 commandment. Therefore it must be obeyed.

You say total depravity is false… the clearest case for total depravity is that Jesus, a perfect man without a single sin, had to die so that we could be saved.
True baptist churches adhere to the 1689 baptist confessions.
Here is a link that compares the 1689 baptist confessionals to our 1647 Westminster Confessionals. They basically took ours.

God's plan began with His knowledge of the future. Before He created man, He knew man would fall into sin. Consequently, before the creation of the world He had already planned Calvary. He foresaw that some men would accept His offer of salvation and that He would have a church, so He designed a plan of eternal salvation for that church.

Predestination applies to God's plan, not to the fate of each individual. God predestined the incarnation, the atonement, the church, and the ultimate salvation of everyone in the church. The individual still has the freedom to choose whether or not he will be in that church.

Whom is plural in this verse, indicating the group is predestined, not the individual...

Romans 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

You cant go to the epistles for salvation because they were written to the saints which were saved through the book of Acts.

You are trying to misdirect why you orginally called me a fraud.
Fact:
You keep talking about dan lying, when you just lied to me about baptists denouncing calvinism. You’re a fraud, and everyone sees that.
Fact: Some independent fundamental Baptist churches are anti-calvinism.
Now you are speaking falsehoods against me. And changing your orginal story because you know you are exposed.

Jesus having to die for sinners, HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH BEING TOTALLY, INHERENTLY, DEPRAVED FROM BIRTH!
We CHOOSE to sin at a certain age in our lives. Then we become sinners.
Babies are innocent.
Just as Jesus is innocent,
Matthew 18:3

Cornelius was unsaved, unregenerated yet loved God. Total depravity refuted. Calvinism refuted.

If calvinism be true.
Then you very well could be predestined to burn in hellfire for all eternity!
God may in reality hate you. God may have sent you a strong delusion to believe you are of the elect.
God may be using you to deceive others with a false gospel that is from satan.
God may have predestined you to be decieved and a servant of satan.

You will never know until you're dead. Because There is NO assurance in your religion.

Lifelong sinner Just Taught Cornelius Was Saved Before He Obeyed The Gospel Of Jesus Christ.

If Cornelius was saved before Peter preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ to him.
Then he was saved without Jesus shed blood on the cross. Without believing in the death, burial and ressurection of Christ, 1Corinthians 15:1-4

wow, another miss! If cornelius feared God, he had been regenerated. You dont understand a single thing about salvation. Cornelius was saved even before the vision from God. But ONLY regenerated people fear the Lord. This is proof of calvinism, specifically irresistible grace. If God wants you saved, you WILL be saved. Cornelius was chosen before the universe was even created. Thanks be to God for using john calvin to increase our understanding of salvation.

Please make up our mind. The Is Only ONE Baptism, Today, Under PURE GRACE!
(Ephesians 4:5),
not two, so which is it, Spiritual or physical?

GRACE And Peace...
There is only one baptism that places us into the body of Christ and that is SPIRIT baptism, not water baptism.

Ephesians 4:5 - one Lord, one faith, one baptism.

1 Corinthians 12:13 - For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free--and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.

Ephesians 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

This was written to the saints, which received salvation through the book of Acts. The same Paul which wrote the epistle to the church at Ephesus, also wrote this...

Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

gotta be more specific about which post that was in reference to. I spend majority of time on here letting people know they have bad theology. Its an epidemic on this forum.
