Some believe, “When you die, you go to Heaven.” Others believe “if you were bad, you go to a Hell of Fire.”
Is one, or both of these two things true, or are they man made false doctrines?
Here are a few scriptures on the condition of the dead, taken from the Bible.
Ec 9:5, 10: Ps 146: 3, 4
John 11:11, 14
If your religion says you go to heaven, or hell when you die, or can talk to the dead…than either the Bible, or your religion is wrong.
Yes, you can, but it is forbidden by God to speak to them. Here we see that Saul PERCEIVED that it was indeed Samuel awaken from his resting in the bosom of Abraham in peace.
1 Sam 28:14-16
14 And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle.
And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself.
15
And Samuel said to Saul,
Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.
16
Then said Samuel,
Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the LORD is departed from thee, and is become thine enemy?

God has no memory of those considered dead to his Spirit who have passed on in lower hell, but those in the upper chamber in the bosom of Abraham were still considered alive to God and were just awaiting Jesus' day when the Spirit was again available as Adam had.
Luke 24:36-39
36 And as they thus spake,
Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and
supposed that they had seen a spirit.
38 And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see;
for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

Acts 16:16-18
16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer,
a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:
17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.
18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved,
turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.
And he came out the same hour.
